Human's back on the menu for a limited time only. Don't kid yourself – nothing wants fries with that.
This is a flavour too good to ruin.

This post will keep you updated on what's going on in the world. The progress of the main cast will be found here as well as some updates from The Hunters so you know how close they are to catching up with you. Captain Mantis is primarily in charge of our antagonists, so send any ideas you would like to incorporate into the story to her if they are better kept under wraps, otherwise leave a message in the OOC. Checking up on the Hunter's activities isn't necessary, but if you want something to read while the RP is in a lull, there's nowhere better to start.

                                  THE CAST
                                  Opening – Introduction
Everyone has finally come together, odd introductions have been had between the tourists, little has been said between the guides. The Councillors have explained the world of Shadow to the humans as best as they can, as well as the role of their guides. Some tourists haven't taken a shine to the creatures in charge of protecting them, but that can't be helped with the attitude of the shadows. It's now up to the guides to figure out how to get them through the streets to the Opera House. The sun has gone – the biggest protection they had. Dusk is approaching and the humans are about to get a taste of what it really means in Shadow. Chins up, everyone.

                                  THE HUNTERS
                                  Start of the hunt
                                  TBA

Liberal Elocutionist

Hello, all!
This roleplay is now accepting applications!
I currently have a reserve and will submit the completed profile for my character within the next twenty-four hours so that there will be an example of a human profile.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please apply only if you fully intend to stick with the roleplay.
While characters are potentially easily replaced, it is frowned upon.
Also, once you submit an application, I strongly encourage you to introduce yourself here in the OOC and plot with your fellow roleplayers!

Liberal Elocutionist

Oh hey I found two of the characters on their day off.

Questionable Conversationalist

LOL I guess thats what makes it easy about using celebrities pictures!
Also, hi!
I'm going to make a tourist, but I might wait a while until the first human profile is up, just to know what to expect.

I do believe I shall lurk here. ninja

Aged Informer

Designated lurkers. Definitely off to the right start.

@Itchigotchi: I wouldn't call them celebrities, they're actors (or stand-up comedian and actor). They're known for their craft, not for their stardom. Always better that way than the other way around.

Moderate it? You'll bring the party, and then what kind of moderating can you hope to do?

Then I expect plenty of coke and hookers. If you don't deliver your lurking days will be over.

Cola? ******** Cola? I asked for coke. Do you think I work in a law firm for the cola? What crazy place do you live in that doesn't have goddamn cocaine!

Also, how has anyone ever watched The Notebook to the end? It is one of the most boring overrated films I have ever seen.

Don't ask me, bud. I never watched it. I watched the trailer and still didn't think it was worth it. Isn't that an old movie anyway?

Aged Informer

Ma Sai The Caged Tiger
It's only 2004, so it's a pretty recent film. I remember my innovation law teacher was crazy for the film, but she was also crazy about Ryan Gosling. I find him bland and Rachel McAdams even blander. This is my fourth attempt at watching this film. I've made it easier for myself by only watching new sections each time instead of trying to watch from the beginning.

Watched Argo before, on the other hand. That was awesome. I was expecting a really heavy handed approach to American patriotism, a la Zero Dark Thirty, but it was quite watchable and there was really great attention to detail.
