Apparently, many people don't read the thread title. *points* We are TEMPORARILY CLOSED. We are uber low on inventory items and gold and need some time to restock. Do you want us to open back up as soon as possible? Well, donate to Blade_Child, the charity mule. That would help sooo much. wink

Welcome to the "You Animal" Charity version 2.0. The original charity was started by Shiankra back in October '04. Unfortunately, Shiankra has been uber busy and can not put in as much time as she'd like...so she left me to handle it. eek sweatdrop I admit, I've been doing a crap job, but no more! biggrin

This is a charity devoted to getting deserving Gaians the cool but expensive animal sets. There's already a Fox Tail foundation(that's how I got my fox set) but I wanted to expand on the idea and include the other sets as well.

This charity is brand new, so I'd appreciate help.

Granted, it's not 'brand new' anymore, but help is still highly appreciated. 3nodding
This charity is devoted to getting Gaians their ANIMAL SETS. Meaning, please don't ask us for other items!!! We don't have enough gold to donate to everyone! gonk

~RULES AND GUIDELINES~

I am going to be VERY strict about these rules. You get NO second chance if you mess this up!
Why? Because this is an expensive charity and if you can't take the time to read the rules, you don't deserve the amount of money I would be spending on you.
The post count is a bit high, yes, but is so for two reasons. 1, I want to keep from getting too many people to handle(maybe when I get more comfortable with this I'll lower it again) and 2, If you don't have a couple hundred posts, then I know you haven't put any effort into getting these items already.

Rules and Guidelines:

1 -You may request a single item OR one full set.

2- Keep in mind that I am an active Gaian and I have a normal life as well. So depending on stock, how much money and time I have, and cost, your set might take some time to get to you. Only make a request if there is room on the waiting list.

3- Please do not answer the Monty Python question, but instead say "I will donate to this charity because it is uber great!"(this will change periodically) or I will know you did not read the rules and you don't get a second chance to apply. You don't need to put anything special in your trade window, but a "Thank You" would be nice.

4- Your donations should go to my mule, and all trades will come from her as well. Certain employees of this charity will have access to her, so such positions will be given out very sparingly.

5 - If you want to make a donation send it to Blade_Child so I can keep it separate from my personal items and gold. If you send a donation to Shiankra, I will consider it a lovely gift and be grateful to accept.

6 - You must have 350+ posts to apply, and accept a trade within a week of receiving it unless other circumstances prevent you from doing so, in which case you PM me and explain nicely. Otherwise I will gladly cancel the trade and save that item for another Gaian. Additionally, you must have a quest thread for said item or set that is at least a week old and well-maintained.

7 - Do not PM me asking for donations, I will blacklist you.

8 - Use at least decent grammar and spelling. I won't penalize you for small errors, but something like this:

Will immediately lose your chance to get a donation.

On Devil Tails, Demon Horns, and the like:
I will not give these out. I may, however, give out donations to quests for these items. The amount of gold you get will depend on things like your having a quest thread, how long it is, and how dedicated you can prove you are to said quest.

I have 3.2k...I just bought these golden laurels for 17k. To be nice I think I'm gonna donate to some people..I think I'm not very applicable for this charity cause I haven't saved much..Since I got my laurels..Now im questing winged anklets then a MP3 player..good luck on your charity...
