"Hello, and welcome to Fox Sushi." The host smiles, bowing her head in greeting. "Yes, I know that's an awefully different name for a sushi bar, but we're an awefully different sort of sushi bar."

Picking up a menu, she smiles. "My name is Hitomi and I'll be your server for the evening. Why don't you take a seat and I'll let you know a bit more about this place."

She sets the menu in front of you, again bowing. "Of course here we sell meals, but we specialize in one thing you'll find no where else. One day, our main chef had his pet fox in the kitchen, no matter how many times we told him that was against Gaia's healthcode. Always the rule breaker, Hiroshi ignored us. A bit of hair dropped from Foxi's tail into a roll he was making. Of course, we didn't know this until we had a very upset call."

Hitomi smiles, shaking her head, amused. "Seikueon is actually the owner. You can see her around, being an otherwise nuiscane when she wants. Anyway, she calls with a distress call that her week-old sushi had grown a tail and ears. Anyone who keeps sushi for a week isn't all there, but even the sound of a tail instead of mold certainly raised our interest. She brought it in and we kept an eye on, growing more and more shocked by the day from the changes. Eventually, Seikueon had the great idea of selling it. We were a little skeptical, but if we thought she was silly, well...we lost that bet..." Hitomi sighs a bit sadly, before smiling again.

"And ever since then, we've offered to let loving individuals adopt these wonderful children to take care of and love and play with. If you're most interested, just take a look at the attached information, and just let me know when you're ready to order," she added with a smile.

Looking through the menu, you notice a section on staff.

User Image You can not eat your Fox Sushi. It has a strange taste anyway and isn't really sanitary. Oh, and Seikueon will call the cops for child AND pet endangerment.

Technically, though, you are not gaining a "pet." Sure, in the first few stages, you'll have the tendency to pet your new friend, but that certainly doesn't make them a pet.

Instead, you'll be adopting yourself a child. Sure, they start out as a peice of raw fish on a bed of rice, but they'll grow up soon enough and have quite the bit of energy.

This is the first stage of life for Fox Sushi. It's important you keep your Nigiri in a cool, dry place. A fridge works best. While Nigiri isn't very receptive, it's a good idea to talk to your peice of sushi often. This will help them develop brain power in the latter stages.

Still unable to talk, your sushi is now moving along the first stages of life nicely. You still can't tell much about your future friend, except perhaps their fur color (though some have been known to change color as they age). Occastionally your sushi will make faint sounds to show how it's feeling. Sprinkling a little bit of vinager on your sushi roll will prove to keep them healthier.

Finally, your fox has emerged from its sushi, looking much like a baby fox. It's hard to tell them apart from other foxes, except they have a tendency to feed exclusively on fish and rice (occastionally bits of seaweed and cucumber will prove to be enjoyed by them). You can now tell much more about your fox, but still only speaks in animal sounds.

Taking good care of your little fox and you'll be rewarded with a child-like friend, however, they're only about a foot and a half tall. Still not used to not being sushi, your child doesn't like to wear restraining clotheing (if any at all). They now feed regulary on sushi (the normal kind, of course) and can talk. They're affectionate and love to be picked up. They haven't shed their fox ears or tail and probably never will.

Finally, your fox is grown up enough to go out on dates, shop, anything a normal teen would do. They're a bit shorter than most humans, the tallest ever seen was only about 5-foot-five. They tend to spend less time around their adoptive parent, and like to hang out at the sushi bar in which they were born--for a delisious meal. Careful, foxes at this age can be quite moody and have a certain level of defiance to their parent.

Seikueon eyed Hiroshi carefully. "What are you doing?" she asked, eyebrow raised. She watched the usually silent chef busy concocting something that didn't seem...sushi-like. Heck, it didn't even look like food in its current state.

Next thing I know, Hiroshi is holding up a kicking, screaming...thing in his tongs. He caught my gaze, looking almost sheepish. "You like Fortune Cookies?"

"Fortune Cookies?" Sei asked in confusion. "Those gross things?"

"Hey, say that to my face!" said the kicking winged girl still hanging from her tail.

"...Hirrrrooooo~!," Sei said warningly. "Just what did you do?"

Hiro shrugged, dropping the girl on a sushi tray. "Dragon scales?" was his offered explination.

Sighing, Sei passed the still squirming dragon girl to Hitomi. "Alright, fine, Seikueon's kitchen'll start serving American Food*."

Fortune Dragons start as a fortune cookie, then crack open to reveal a dragon and a fortune (oh yes, thus the name is born! X3). Finally, your dragon will grow up to an imp-like creature, roughly a foot-and-a-half (46cm) tall.

User ImageWe do things a bit differently here at Fox Sushi. So Seikueon and Ari don't get afraid of what people might order (we're only amazing gods with all knowing power, not drawing masters!), we like to know what we're getting into. Custom slots that open will only be claim-able by people who let us know ahead of time what they're going to order. How do you do this? Make a quest in the guild!

Please note on all cosplay requests: Once someone has a cosplay (through auction or custom order) you may not get one, also. I will use my discretion on fuzzy areas, such as "First season Seto Kaiba vs. Second Season Kaiba." I can also out-right refuse any cosplay. Dragons and Foxes may be cosplays of the same character.

Price range: Don't even ask if you're not willing to shell out at least 100k. One stages, color-only (semi-customs), and a few exceptions will, of course, be price adjusted.

In order to get a custom, you'll have to check out this subforum in the guild, which explains it better.

No. Japan actually has a strong distolerence for homosexuals, moreso than even the US. So when a male is wearing clothes that may be considered "unmanly" to most Westerners, it's likely he isn't gay. So I like the style of clothing a lot, but do not force yaoi on anyone. I, however, am a yaoi fan. And in the form of "breeding," m/m and f/f are allowed. In fact, three-somes are possible, too, but that's because it's merely a combination of ingredients.

exclaim Before, I said no. But the answer is now "you better be able to get along, or so help me, neither of you will keep the pet." If one owner wants to vanquish his/her parental rights, work out any of it without me and then inform me who's the guardian. I will not refund either parent. And if you two had twins, they do not get seperated. Some pets CAN'T be co-owned.

question Do you accept payment plans?
exclaim I will work one out with someone that asks before a flat sale. Auctions and guest work will not be allowed to be on payment plans, because auctions are for those who HAVE the gold to back it up and guest work is too complicated to avoid scamming the other involved. I can take a loss (since I just won't grow your pet then), but I will not allow the other to get cheated.

question Can I pay with items?

exclaim You don't have to. However! Unless I clearly state, these exist in Gaia. Meaning any special properties such as Nobody status or having a jutsu is not possible.

exclaim Sure, whatever gender they may be, though it must be PG-13!

Rules For Lineartist:
You have almost complete creative control. However, any copying of ideas from either from me or another shop is forbiddon. That means you can't make a plushie stage that looks exactly like Dur...Pets! or a sushi stage that...do any other shops do sushi? o_O That means any cosplay must also be cleared with me. Any stages must not resemble a previous one done by me or another artist.

You must follow the basic guideline for the growing as stated in this shop. You want to add a 6th stage, that's okay. You want to make an all plushie growing, that's okay. But it goes, to the effect of:
egg (nigiri) arrow baby (roll) arrow fox arrow child (chibi) arrow teen

You are welcome to subsitute a special 4th stage with the stock lineart that comes in the shop.

Rules For Colorist:
You may request to color another artist or my own lineart for the shop. It will be run by the lineartist if it's okay to color their art.

Nothing...really else. Uh...don't make sushi rice look moldy, okay?

However, I prefer bright colors.

Foxes were invented by either (a) God(dess)(e)(s) (of sorts) and/or evolution.
Fox Sushi and all respective properties was invented by Seikueon.
All lineart and color belongs to Seikueon.

Seikueon does not permote, encourage, and suggest making sushi out of foxes. Seikueon neither does this in real life or in fiction. The sushi is morphed from a hair of the special fox Foxi getting dropped into the ingredients and letting it spoil.

All art is done in Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition 1.1 (the program is over 7 years old now and I got it to go with my scanner on my Windows 98 computer. I assure you, I don't have the capabilities people with PSP, PS, or OC have.) or good old-fashion MSPaint.

Fox Sushi is the brainchild of Seikueon and may not be used in whole or in part by any other party without written consent first. Anything not covered in the rules or normal copywrite law must be cleared up with Seikueon before engaging in. Failure to do so on any account will result in a warning, blacklist, report to mods, and/or legal action. While on Gaia and the Internet, you are given the permission to use the pets as outlined in the ToS and rules of this shop. Any other use outside the scope of Gaia can be considered stealing and will be dealt with accordingly.
