History: Born in the USA, Hailee had a fairly normal childhood. She was raised by both of her parents, and her father frequently took her and her mother camping in the wilderness. She learned many basic survival skills from him, and she also learned to sew from her mother. For her eighteenth birthday, Hailee's parents sent her on a cruise with her aunt. During a particularly bad storm, the ship was tossed about quite roughly, and Hailee went overboard. This is how she ended up on the island.

Fishing - Spearing fish takes a certain knack, and this talent set gives one that ability. It also includes a natural 'clock' that makes one instinctively know when the fishing will be the best.

Trapping - The patience to trap, and the instictive know-how of where to place your traps can be found in this talent. Somehow, you have the uncanny ability to have an animal in your trap just a few hours after you place the trap.

Hunting - Not everyone moves the way Native Americans and island villagers do in the woods. Most people have a loud, stomping kind of walk; even girls. However, with this talent, you can move nearly as silently as the animals themselves, and you have an interesting ability to aim to kill on most creatures.

Tracking - A couple of indentions in the mud might be easy enough to read, but what about following a creature of rocky terrain? There are ways to do it, and somehow, you manage to be able to do it, even if you're uncertain of how.

Sewing - There's more to sewing than patterns. This talent means that if you can see an outfit, mentally or in reality, then you could probably copy it. Very handy on an island where there's no paper for patterns, eh?

Cooking - Give two people the same ingredients, and it's almost guaranteed that one of them will turn out with a better dish than the other. This is the cooking talent, and it increases how tasty and filling one's meals are.

Carpentry - Wood is an iffy material to work with if you're not used to it. This talent means that you have natural feel for desiging beds, tables, etc.

Creativeness - The abilty to improvise when making things or designing this is a talent that not everyone possesses. You had planned to use three logs to make something, but you lost one; how can you make due? Creativity will be key in situations such as that.

Artistic - Not everyone can look at a swatch of cloth and see an outfit, or stare at a pile of leaves and dead fish and see a grand feast. This ability is known as the artistic talent, and it helps a person envision what might be made from a certain set of components. It goes well with Cooking, Sewing, Design, Carpentry, Weaving, and Creativeness.

Design - the ability to perceive how things are put together and/or placed in a pleasing and functional manner.

Healing - the natural knack at bandaging wounds, guessing which plants would be good for what, etc.

Memory - the ability to remember almost anything said to you and/or anything that you may have read previously.

Weaving - Braiding and such takes a certain amount of concentration and ability. Thankfully, with this talent, weaving is much simpler. Somehow, you just understand the patterns used in weaving.

Former scout - A basic knowledge of camping (without much experience) and survival will be included in this pack.

Common Sense - You shouldn't try starting a fire with wet wood; mushrooms shouldn't be eaten unless you're certain of the kind. Wild boars are dangerous, and goats can be caught probably for milk. This knowledge pack includes things like that, and thus your character, who may possess no other knowledges, won't be completely helpless. Please note that purchasing Basic Survival will cancel this knoweldge.

Militarial - Militarial survival is an amazing things. This knowledge pack includes right on down to how to make a fire with wet wood and which bugs to eat. However, it lacks many of the comforts that come with knowing how to properly prepare a meal or how to find salt, etc.

Basic survival - A hodgepodge of all the knowledges, this one includes a little bit of everything. However, you won't know that much about everything; instead, you'll know just enough to get by but not enough to be comfortable. This knowledge includes Common Sense.

Medicine - Many herbs and mixtures are medicinal in nature, and this option includes the knowledge of how to make medicine from what you have. It works wonderfully with the Plants knowledge.

Plants - Knowing what's poisonous and what's not is important, but this set also includes basic ideas of which plants can be turned into baskets or ropes or other useful items.

Animals - Includes knowing many common animals' habitats, habits, track marks, how to hunt them, etc.

College - Mostly a scholarly knowledge set, this one includes few really practical applications: i.e., knowing how to get salt from sea water/beach sand, etc.

Geology - Knowing the land is a helpful thing. Different kinds of mud and clay can be used to make pots or even bricks, and someone who can tell flint and steel from shiney rocks is always useful.

Sewing - It's more than just being able to thread a needle, after all. This particular knowledge set includes the know-how of making clothing, blankets, curtains, etc.. It also gives one the ability to improvise sewing tools.

Cooking - A science or an art, it's your choice. This knowledge pack includes the ability to improvise many different spices, and it works wonderfully when paired with the Plants knowledge pack. It includes the ability to make a few different recipes, and basically, one can assume that someone with this knowledge pack would know how to properly prepare fish and such so that it may be eaten.

Camping - Banking a fire to keep it burning longer, the know-hows of setting up camp, the importance of securing freshwater, knowing how to find at least some food; all of this and more is available in the camping knowledge, and it is very similar to the Basic Survival knowledge. However, those with this knowledge are more often than not used to having a small collection of items to be started with.
