What is a petition? A petition is a thing that people sign to show they want something.

How does it work on Gaia?Making a petition on Gaia helps show the lead Gaia people what the users want. They like making us happy, we just have to show them how. Petitions are how we do that!

How can I sign a petition? To sign a petition, simply post a reply saying you want to sign it. The quoted words are an example.



NOTE:Do not PM a petition maker to sign a petition, often times you'll be ignored because that shows you have not read the rules and it's also annoying.

Isn't this petition against the copyright rules? No. See here for reasons why this is not against the rules. People who post saying such will be reported, cause we can do that now ^_^.

Can you add Youko's clothes to the list? Sadly no crying . I'm making this petition only for the people in season 1's clothes and since Yoko doesn't come in untill season two, I can't add him. (But I really want too whee !!!) If this petition goes well, I'll make a petition for the people in season 2. It will include Jin, Touya, and other demons in the dark tournament.

Ouch! eek Aren't those prices a little high? Actually, my prices are a little lower than most cosplay items, just check out the Naruto stuff if you don't believe me! And have you seen the prices on the Legend of Zelda petiton? eek Now that's an ouch.

I have a cool picture that I want to use as a link, how can I do that? Well it's simple really. I'll show ya how.

1. First get the url for the thing you want to link to. Here is this petition's url..

2. Now go to your profile and go to the signature section.
3. Now type the following....

Insert the url for what you want to link to where it says URL_HERE and type the url of the image you want to use where it says 'malformed url'
NOTE: If there is a space in the "[]", it won't work!
4. Click submit and you're done!

RULES

4. I realize there is a shirt on Gaia called High School Uniform Top (or something like that) that looks like Keiko's shirt. There is just one major difference. The tie is red! So we are petitioning for one with a yellow tie!

Here's how you put banners in your sig!
1. Find a banner you like and copy the code shown below it.

2. You click on your avater at the very top of the page to go to your profile!
3. Click on "Edit Profile" near the top of the screen. (underneath the avi at the top of the pages feet!)
4. Go to "Signature" at the right. (Towards the bottom of the list of links)
5. Paste the text you copied (the words in the code box underneath the banner you liked) in the space
6. Still confused? Post that you don't get it and I'll PM you about it.

7/8/06- Man, people ragging on me about copyrightness really slowed me down on this project. BUT I will start it again. I am working on a massize update and will get the construction done. Please bear with me.

4/12/06-Will update if it kills me! More Later. Still working on making this petition as legite as possible. Maybe then I will work on that TO DO list. crying

1/21/06- Just a quick update so I don't forget. More later! Thanks to suta-kumori for making avi edits! Okay, so I've just finished mist of the updating! I added new signatures, some cool avi edits by suta-kumori, made a new poll, and made a new banner!! I still have some stuff to do though... sweatdrop

I'll add and edit new banners on my other computer, cause it has the codes for everything. If I do it on this one, I'll be deleting 1's for an hour gonk !! I'm also going to start pushing for some more affiliates too. And not just in the petition section, but in the art shop section too!!!

1/20/06- YIKES!!! I couldn't update cause of finals at school, and man had the signatures built up!!! Oh well, everything is updated, and i am pleased to note that we have reached 300 signatures!!! We're not far form 1000 now!!!

Alas, on the eve of such joyoues news, I also bear some bad tidings. Due to the fact that I had reached the emoticon limit, the little heart 's I had been putting next to peoples name had stopped showing up. Because of this, I had to delete the hearts next to the people with hearts by their names because the had a banner for YYH in their sig. In other words, I apologize, but if you had a heart because you had a banner in your sig, it has now been removed.

I am working on acquiring a new banner which will be posted here soon. And I am working on adding a "news" section to the update post. (this one)

Oh, and on a sidenote, I am opening an art shop and have a fanthread to bump, so I will not be able to update as often as used too (i.e. Every day).

1/9/06-Okay, I added new signatures and I added some bumpers and the avi edit. I also just bought these cool little images of the gang running that I'm posting as banners. Triple thanks to Pokahydee for making them!!!

1/7/06- Well, I updated signatures, but I still have to add a new edit and add bumpers. All in all, the petition is going better than I could have imagined. We may have YYH clothes on Gaia very soon!

1/3/06- Updated today, I added the signatures and was pleased to find we have hit 200. Come on guys! ADVERTISE!! 1000 isn't far from our grasps! Today I also changed the clothes we are petitioning for section too include what gender the items are for. Most of the items are Unisex. But the gangs Shirts and Pants aren't. Sorry, guys. crying Okay, now I'm off. I'll try to update again soon!

12/29/05- Man, christmas really makes you not go on Gaia so much. Anyway. I'm working on that surprize I hinted at and am trying to update. Well, got lots of things to do, so I'll just leave this update at that.

12/18/05- Okay, I've updated today, and am very happy that we've almost reached 100 hundred signatures!!!! Advertise people because 100 is only 1/10 of a way to my goal. Yes! For those of you who know your math, you've just figured out my goal is (yikes!) A THOUSAND!!!! But hey, with all the users on Gaia, if this petition is really wanted that shouldn't be a problem. Also, an issue was brought to my attention today regarding unisex-ness. This also brought up an idea I had burried at the beggining of the petition. For more information see the qoute of my post in the contests section. I would really appreciate everyone's input on this guys (and gals of course ^_^).

12/15/05- Yikes! I haven't updated in a while!! Not my fualt thought, I blame school and Gaia's scheduled maintenence. Ah well, I updated signature ness, added an affiliate, and I put up the Kurama-kun avi edit made by hiei_chan14. I've got lots to do today, so that's all for now.

12/13/05- Okay, added signatures, the avi edits made by people, and got a new affiliate. All in all, a productive day for the petition! And now, I'm off to study for a chemistry test.

12/12/05- Man my head hurts..... okay, I've updated.....blah...

12/11/05- The petition is moving smoothly! ^_^ Added some more signatures today and I got a cool idea for ChristmaHanaKwanzakah! You people are going to be happy when christmas time comes ^_^.

12/10/05- So, I had a lot of signatures to add this morning. I made some banners for my affiliate and bumper Koibito_No_Kurama-kun, I also took the wrench petition off my affiliates list. I'll add it again when she posts a link to my petition in hers. I got a good idea for a banner from Yukiko so I'm going to make one. It should be posted soon. Also, form now on I WILL NOT PM people asking for the image tags to their image signatures. I'm tired of doing it. From now on, if they didn't read the rules they will pay for it, not me. Why should I have to PM them or host their images, their the ones who want them up, not me. Sorry 'bout the rant peoples, just had to say it, and now I'm done with it. biggrin Today I also got rid of the qoutes I have as item summaries, cause I got scared people won't sign in fear of Gaia getting sued cause of copyright issues. Oh, and I added the url thing. Hopefully it will boost my advertising-ness xd . That's it for now!

12/09/05- FRIDAY AT LAST!!!! Yea, so got some more signatyres today, but people still seem to have trouble reading the rules...*coff*Image tags*coff* Yea, also today I got another affiliate and another question to add to the FAQ regarding pricing! Not that anyone reads it, if I'm to believe the non-rule readers are in the majority --'. (And I'm lead to believe this because of the image problem....) ANYWAY, the petition is off to a really good start! ^_^ I was pleased to note that some people had put banners in their signatures, also I added a smiley to the smiley key to stand for affiliates. I'm considering explaining the URL tag thing in the FAQ for people, but I'm not sure if I should or not... An upside would be that they'd be more willing to put linkage in their sigs, downside is, I might confuse people sweatdrop ..... Man, I reallt wish people would read the contest thing and reply to it... crying ... Oh, well, watcha gonna do, ne?

12/08/05- Who-shaw! I got A LOT more signatures today! Also, I noticed people not putting their image codes in, so I made the rule...more noticeable blaugh . AND, I got my first affiliate today, and she signed my petition, AND she offered bumpage! cool You are one spiffy lay-day Chibi_StarLyte. Thanks! EDIT: Oh! And I also added a heart to Koibito_No_Kurama-kun's signature in the petition, because she is a sweet bumper whee ! But I haven't seen anyone with a banner in their sig yet... crying

12/07/05- Yea! More signatures! 4laugh I also added the yoko question, asked by Kaay-chan, to the FAQ section.

12/06/05- Finished adding all those damn banners I made. Forgot to go to tinyurl.com for the second Kuwabara one though. blaugh O h well, I'll do it later. Also added the second signature today!!

12/05/05- Petition created!!! YAY!!! I haven't added all the banners yet though.. sweatdrop Oh well, I'll get around to it.
