I am a female.
First off, I'd like to announce my utter devotion to a pairing called Kai x Rei of Bakuten Shoot Beyblade. I stumbled upon this pairing, with the help of my wifey, Nicole, while waking up early on November 22, 2003 and flipping on the television. The choice in the once revered early morning cartoons having declined in taste, I decided to watch some good old Beyblade in its wholeness for the first time. It was V-Force, the second season, an episode called
Rock Bottom. As if a message from the gods, it was a Rei-centric episode, where Rei loses his precious spirit companion Driger. As soon as I saw Kai going out of his way to comfort Rei, I fell in love.
Moving on, I am currently 17-years-old and South Korean. No, I do not have any nuclear weapons of mass destruction. No, I will not tell you your name in Korean.
I am politically active, a "liberal p***y/weiner/skank," if you will. That means I am pro-choice, a Human Rights activist, an environmentalist, a feminist, and everything else the right-wing Republicans hate.
Call me close-minded, but the only types of anime and manga that I actually love are the ones that are either established Boy's Love or are so infested with pretty boys that slash is inevitable. I am a yaoi addict. That, I believe, was blatant.
I have a wonderful wife who is not really a wife. We have known each other since the late spring of 2003, just a bit before my freshman year and her sophomore year. Because of her influence, I am who I am today. Without her, I would still be saying "eww!" to homosexuality and many other liberal ideas. I would be ignorant and horrendously shy to the point of frustration. I would hate yaoi and would never have found KaRe or any of my other liked couples. She is the core of my everything. Having her in my life has set off a chain reaction. Through her influence, I am friends with my current loved ones. I don't know where I would be in my life without her.
Oh, and as a closing fact, I like women and hate phalli.
