Plot

All around the country, flocks are appearing. The leaders of these flocks are all "gifted" with the Voice... Which, really isn't that great of a gift. The Voice causes tremendous pain in the head whenever it tries to speak to the leaders, sending random pictures, quotes, bits and pieces of a bigger, cryptic message: SAVE THE WORLD.

What does it all mean? How, when, why are they supposed to do this? We don't know, but one thing's for certain... We can't do this all alone.


~Basically, in this world there are genetic hybrids trying to fit in with the rest of society. Each flock is kept ignorant of the existance of the other flocks. In the Rp the School is trying to hunt down the escaped flock members using Erasers, wolf hybrids (some have wings now!...Though they're not very good flyers....), while the flocks try desperately to figure out their destiny under the guidance of their leader's Voices.~

1~ When you apply, you can choose to be a leader of a flock unless there's already one.
2~ To form a new flock, there must be at least three people (including leader) in previous flocks.
3~ When you join a flock, your character might just meet up with the flock, and THEN you join it, or you could have somehow always been part of it even when you're new to the rp.

-Venom that can come from claws on her left hand. It can paralyze someone for up to an hour.
-True Sight: She can see through illusions and disguises (so she can see who are Erasers before they turn wolfish and attack)
Appearance: Emi is 5'10", has pale blue hair that she wears loosely and reaches midway down her back. Her eyes are a dark violet faded into amber and she has very pale skin. Emi's more of a casual dresser and prefers a T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers, usually, but not always, in darker colors.... but not like a Goth sweatdrop She gets the name venom from her claws, specifically from her left hand, which produces a paralyzing venom. She wears a black glove made out of titanium alloy mesh to cover that hand so she doesn't accidently injure anyone. The only person immune to her venom that she is aware of is Ultimate. She also has large, pure black wings. The overall look is that of a modern day fallen angel.


Bio: Emi and Iris grew up in the same lab, which they called Area 51, after they were changed when they were both less than a year old. When they were old enough to be put into school (had they led normal lives) the scientists decided to put their mental capacities to the test through regular schooling as well as the typical scientific testing.
It was during one of their runs through the maze that they came across each other. While Iris was sooo freakin' lost, Emi had an easy time with the maze, Telelocating the doctor who set up the maze. After Emi helped Iris out of the maze, they became best friends, doing everything together.
As they got older, they learned there was actually a world outside of Area 51, and wanted to get out to see it. So, at the ages of 14, using Iris' SoulFire, they literally busted their way out of their prison. Once on the run, they changed their names: Emi adopted the name Venom based on her new-found power, while Iris took the name Ultimate... just because she liked the word. Ever since, they've been on the run, trying to escape Erasers and, well... just plain survive...

It's almost like she has 2 vocal chords because she can hum and Sing quietly while she talks.
*Empathetic Ear - the ability for others to be affected by her Songs. In a room of 10 people while Aru sings her Sorrow Song, on average, 5 - 6 people will burst into uncontrollable tears.

- His right arm, when contact is made, can suck the life force from someone. (His right arm is dead, all bones. So it automaticly absorbs the life force (not souls) out of whatever it makes contain with to try to restore itself. It just shuts down the mind of the victim for a little while, doesn't kill them.)
- When really angry, he's mind sorta shuts down and he acts bloodthirsty-like (has yet to gain this power)
Apperence: Tall, 5"9, and pale. Has black hair that looks blue in some lights. Wears jeans and t-shirts, dark clothing. Wings are white with red tips. Wears long sleeves and glove over right hand. His right arm is completely bone (no flesh or muscle).

If Flock: Powers: She can move too fast for the human eye to see (she's part hummingbird), She can produce a necter through her hands that heals outside wounds, but it tastes really bad... Doesn't have a third power yet.
Appearance: Tulip has fair skin, with shoulder lenght sandy brown hair that's curly. She wears a big flower barrett and her clothes are hand-me-downs that are too big for her. She also wears Hollow's oversized brown jacket that he gave her.

If Flock: Powers: Echolocation: He can see by using his voice and ears. As a note, this means he has very good hearing.
‘Third ear’: He claims machines talk to him. Whether they do or not, it doesn’t matter, he can break any code, hack any system, and work any machine within seconds.
Lightning: When he gets really angry, he is able to create electricity and control lightning.
Appearance: Long, thick and wild black hair that he ties back. Large dark wings with very fine feathers and a perfect smooth curve at the top, in other words, designed for speed, and modeled after the Peregrine falcon. He wears a black leather matrix-length coat, old dark jeans and simple black T-shirt. The coat has a high collar which covers most of his face when buttoned up, so only his dark eyes are visible over its rim.

-Power to create psyhcic energy between her wings, and then transfer the energy to her hands and knock out an oppenent. Her attacks are weak though, and is still developing.

appearance: He has Silver hair with yellowish orangey eyes. His bangs completely cover his right eye. He wears a black hoodie and has one silver and black streaked wing on his left side. ALso his clothes are designed to absorb sound, making him a stealth machine.
POwers: Genesis can generate plasma energy and manipulate it to his likings. He can also release sonic blasts from his hands. He can fly, only the people at the school know how he does it.
Bio:
Genesis was created a month or two before Maximum Ride. He was designed to test Max and other bird children to find their limits, but Jeb decided against using Genesis, not wanting to hurt Max. Genesis was taught how to fight, but does not exactly understand right and wrong. ON a test run, the Scientists learned that Genesis was a danger to them and their experiments and put him on lockdown, but enlight of recent events, they have released him.

(the only power she currently knows of.) This power is a permanent mutation, and cannot be hidden.
Power over electricity-static bolts and the like.
Power over magnetism- aka, super-enhanced ability with metal.

Appearance: Harpy has hair that was originally honey-brown, but she somehow managed to get ahold of some very strong dye and turn it vibrant red. Her eyes are golden-brown, and her skin is pale.
Her clothes tend to gravitate toward loose, punk-style stuff. Wears mainly camouflage-pattern cargo pants, a form-fitting white tanktop (with slits in the back for her wings) and an oversize zippered hoodie. She wears heavy-duty military boots, and a pair of dogtags she stole off of a gaurd at the School, reading simply "#67".
Her wings are red as her hair, with black tips, patterning similar to a goshawk. Cream-colored on the undersides, with black patterning. Her cat-features follow the same pattern.

If Flock: Powers: Metallic, blade-like talons on (in?) his arms. When extended, they reach roughly four inches over the backs of his hands, in a curved talon-shape that moulds over his fingers. When retracted, they're merely small metal spines on the joints of his hand, right below the fingers. He wears fingerless gloves to disguise the fact that they're actually embedded in his hands.
His other power is his ability to mould metal- related to his control over his metal talons.
Berserker- Last power, not really a power so much as a hyper-aware state of existence where his senses are hyperaware.
Appearance: Shaggy, black hair, kept cut roughly at his shoulderblades. He has light, sandy-tan skin with light blue eyes. He's a very large guy, very muscular. he looks more like an eraser than a Bird-hybrid. He has black wings with a metallic blue sheen like some ravens have. Wears a tightly-fit white shirt, black and navy cargopants with multiple chains, and an army that he stole from a thrift store. He got his combat boots on the same spree. He has a thing for chains, and wears many of them- used as necklaces, bracelets, belts- you name it. Comes in handy when you're a human (mostly) blacksmith- no forge requred. Wears a metal band around his neck, with fine chainlink-lace-filligree attatched.

Character Name: Songbird (Just Song, usually)

Flock or Eraser: Flock- Solo, traveling with Griffin.

If Flock: Powers: Power of telepathy- he can talk to others with his mind, and keep a psycic link open for them to reply. Works as a homing beacon as well, so he can locate people he recognises.
Firesong- He can literally sing flames into exisistence. Conected to his telepathy, it's strength fluxuates with his mood. He controlls the flames with his voice, directing them.
Last power: He can call up an inextinguisheable flame around his hands and arms, and eventually his whole body, and use them as a shield or a weapon.

Appearance He has reddish gold hiar, very long.-It reaches his waistline. he keeps it tied back, though it's naturally slightly curly. He has gold-green eyes, and very pale skin. Physically, he's very lean and lithe- sadly, he can be easily confused as female, as he's not exactly muscular. He's kind of small as well, even for a sixteen-year-old boy. He tends to wear loose, flowing clothes- loose baggy pants, cinched with a belt, an oversize tanktop, and usually loose armwarmers. He wears a pair of girls boots, because they were the only ones he could find. He has both ears pierced, with a gold ring in each one. His wings are white, with gold-brown tips at the end of his feathers.

Seeing Ultimate fly away, Venom gave the Eraser she was fighting another blow to the head, knocking him back and giving her enough time to throw out her wings and take off. She caught up and glared towards Ultimate.
"Next time, I'm leaving YOU behind."
By now the Erasers flying towards them had nearly reached them.
"What do you say we ditch these losers?" She smirked as she pumped her wings hard and fast, quickly getting ahead of the Earsers. She grinned behind her and stuck out her tongue towards them.
"Catch us if you can!"

Venom sighed as she glanced at the Erasers struggling to keep up with them. This had happened all too often of late and was getting slightly irritating.
"Might as well be now," she said, a mischievious glint in her eyes. "It'd be more fun to watch them in pain than out of breath doncha' think?"
Venom winked and flung her wings forward throwing herself back and catching the Eraser trailing behind her off gaurd. Before crashing into him she spun herself sideways as he continued forward, allowing her to get behind him. She tore her glove off using her right hand and dived at his back.
"Good luck with your trip!" He spun, eyes widening as she dug her claws into his chest, injecting him with a nice dose of venom. His body seemed to stiffen and he hovered in the air for a few seconds before falling like...well, not to sound cliche, a stone.
"Like I said Ultimate, much more fun!"

Venom eyes widened in panic as she flew back to Ultimate's side.
"Are you okay?" She hovered there, trying to get a better look to see what damage had been done. "You're not gonna die on me right???" She reached toward Ultimate, stopping her hand in mid-motion when she realized her glove wasn't on and drew it back. She gave a short laugh, the panic still in her voice at the thought that her friend was hurt and there didn't seem to be anything she could do about it.
"Oops....I guess you don't need to be paralyzed too huh?"

Emi still wasn't sure it was all okay, but she supposed Ultimate would know best, it was her wound.
"If you say so Iris," she followed behind and perched on to the tree nearest Ultimate. Distracted by her worry she almost missed the Eraser circling around the house. It took her another second to realize that she could see him fully decked out in his Eraser form...usually they snuck up on you before revealing themselves. She watched him as he looked about the house, probably trying to find a way up to the roof.
Whispering, hoping that he wouldn't hear her but knowing he would anyway, she asked, "Iris....Is it just me or is that an Eraser on the ground?"
