Skorpeyon: The story starts off simply enough. Moons and I had just requested a couple of avatar art pieces from Liz (who's art is in the banner there) and just after that Moons came up with THREE new outfits! She commented that she wanted art of all three! I said that we might as well make an art contest and then she could get even more than just three pictures. God knows we have plenty of letters between the two of us!

So, after tallying everything up, we found over a million worth of spare letters that we'd be willing to give up to get some avatar art. wink Stop on in, take a look at the prizes, and enter! It costs nothing, and you could win a nice prize! whee

Contest Rules:

1. PM all entries to "Moons - Skorp". The reason for this is that if you post it in the thread we may miss it! If you just want to show it off, it's perfectly fine to do both, but please make sure to PM it as well just in case we don't spot it in the thread. We're really not sure if this thread will move fast or slow once it gets going. Threads on Gaia have been known to add pages upon pages in an hour and it'd be really difficult to sift through it all for every entry!

2. Please do not PM to ask if we received your entry. In all likelyhood we did but haven't logged onto the mule yet to see it. If it doesn't end up on the front page in two days or so then by all means PM the mule and/or Moons Eternity or Skorpeyon to check. It's rare for PM's not to go through, though.

3. Make sure to note what category you are entering! If you don't, we will contact you but if you don't get back to us we will assume the picture is a gift and not part of the contest! Without a category you cannot compete!

4. The prizes and categories MAY be expanded and added to. Main reason this might happen is if someone were to donate something as a prize.

5. ALL artwork in the contest will be considered ours. We do not have to pay any additional cost to display such artwork. We will request permission if we wish to use it for any reason OTHER than simple display purposes (such as the banner for this contest which required editing of the original picture).

6. It is up to you, but Skorpeyon has requested that, if you wish, you send him a higher resolution copy of any images so they might some day be printed for personal use. This is not a requirement of the contest and will not increase your chances of winning.
