A lone lion crouched between the bladed grass, eyes sharp and focused. Nose flared at a nearby scent and he rised, lifting his form on stocky forepaws and maw dropping appart; a throaty growl extending into a masculine roar. Fur rippled around his yellow mane as twinkles of electricity jumped between ajacent hairs.. making it appear to glitter in the dim light. The uproar quietened and the male stared directly towards the intruder.. the one that had dared breach his territory. Was it friend or foe? One would just have to find out....

Meet Kami No Arashi. The first of the Lions that walked this island, the ones that refered to themselves as the 'Pride'...

Please please PLEASE note, if you're roleplaying in an area that is unnamed, you can name it. Each wolf/lion is allowed to name one area. (for example the swamp near the waterfall).
If im not around when the roleplay is taking place, please please pm me letting me know you've named an area, so i can update the map ^_^;
You can also add details to the map. As long as you give me coords and enough details im happy to draw in more areas.

Game Mechanics

For roleplaying purposes, the creatures of Pride and Pack all have the ability to summon magical powers. These may be elemental, spiritual or physical affects. They achieve this by howling/roaring, which charges up their 'chants'. They are also born under a certain stance.. This is the stance they are most natural in.

Chants:
Elemental: Flame / Aqua / Lightning / Thunder / Sand / Ice
Spiritual: Light / Dark / Life / Death
Physical: Strength / Courage / Speed / Sight / Hearing
Nature: Leaf / Earth / Animal
Time: Past / Future / Present
Seasonal: Winter / Spring / Summer / Autumn

Defensive / Offensive / Stealth / Agile / Drunken / Evasive / ...

Alliance
Pride / Pack

Attitude

Lineart for the wolves

I am at a decision to use the lineart from the Mingan wolves for the wolves in this.. i think they fit well enough and its a shame to waste such nice lineart ^^;
Anyone that has a mingan wolf already is welcome for a recert at a small cost of 500g

Staff Guidelines.. Please read!

Colouring..

-#- You may colour as much as you like, but dont just colour randomly. Each wolf/lion should be linked to a Stance and Chant.. Focus on the chant more, the stance is more for roleplay purposes.
-#- When you have coloured a wolf/lion you must email me the high resolution version of the colouring along with what stance/chant it is under. Please avoid using jpeg as it can give lossy compression. Gif can also be a bit bad if there is alot of variation in colours and shades. Best bet is with PNG.
-#- You should also let me know what you want me to do with colouring. Auction? Flatsale? Raffle? Usually if its a raffle i will ask you to produce a few for it.. smile
-#- If you want to have a breeding slot please tell me. You will have to colour in all stages for each one. You will get 100% of profit from the breeding.

Profit..

Auctions - 60% of the profit goes to you, 40% goes to me.
Flatsale - 80% of the profit goes to you, 20% goes to me.
Raffle - You get 100% profit from this for every creature you have coloured that is in the raffle. For example, if I coloured 1 and you coloured 3 for a raffle, you would get 75% of the total profit.
Breeding - You get 100% profit from colouring a breeding set. Note i will work out how many cubs/pups you have to do.

Pickups: Pickups are done progressivly as posts on the thread, with indication to which page to look at on the main page/title of thread. I'm going to do it this way to minimize how much space the front page takes up.. as it can be annoying to have to cycle past loads of pickups to look at other stuff.

Auctions: Auctions are done in a seperate thread with link from the main thread and indication of auction ongoing in the title. These will last for a certain time period, usually 2-3 days.

Flatsales: Flatsales are done within this thread, posted in the same way Pickups are done. There are two types of Flatsales; Silent and Announced. Silent flatsales are usually only 1/2 creatures given away at a random unannounced time. Announced flatsales are 2-6 creatures given away at a pre-announced time.

Raffles: Raffles are usually done by gathering 2+ coloured creatures and raffling them off. Ticket number will depend on how many creatures are up for offer. Price per ticket: 100g.

Q: Can I roleplay my magiwolves here?
A: No sorry, I am no longer continuing and supporting roleplay of the magiwolves (hense the freebies for magiwolf owners)

Breeding

Breeding costs 2000g per breeding, and can only be done between creatures of same alliance. I.e. no breeding wolves with lions sweatdrop
When breeding you can get from 2-4 cubs/pups in a litter.

Extra Breeding Accessories:
Breeding Potion - +1 cub/pup --( 1500g )--
Multiplication Potion - Chance of more cubs/pups increases. --( 1000g )--

If you have a magiwolf, you can also order a custom FOR YOURSELF.. This is the only way to order a custom for your self at this time. It's not free like in the flatsales or auctions, but it is reduced. All prices are HALF NORMAL PRICE!
If you choose a custom, you cant claim a free lion/wolf as well.
