Hello! And welcome to the brand-new art shop of I c y s a p p h i r e and [.Soapy.Face.] We've been trying to open this for a while, but we're lazy and are really just getting started now. Anyways, before you venture onward, there are a few things you need to know to avoid confusion and clear some stuff up.

Firstly, I'm not a fan of coloring my pictures, because it takes me a while to do this, so unless you want to pay a lot for a colored picture, I'm really only doing black and whites. I'll be putting up various examples later of my colored arts and uncolored arts.

Secondly, the above is a bit of a problem, no? That's where dear old Soapy comes in! She loves coloring, and if you'd like to by a commisson of mine colored for a reasonable price, then you buy something from our combined arts section. A sample of this method is in the top of this very post. I drew it, she colored it. Please note that if you order for one of those, you can find it in Soapy's section.

And Finally, Soapy is of course drawing as well. She's not stingy like me, so her prices aren't as outragious as mine. xDD Anyway, if you buy from her, she'll draw and color a picture for you. As you can see, we color and draw differently, so you have some nice choices! Yay! An example of her art is in the Rules post, but I'm sure she'll put up more later, as well.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STEAL OUR ART AND CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN. I know I slack and don't put my signature on a lot of things, but that doesn't mean I won't still recognize my art when I see it.

You must post at least once in the thread before you request art.
NO spaming within the thread (emotes, bumping, etc). Occasional bumping to keep it alive is fine, though. That doesn't mean pages and pages! D:<
Try to be semi-literate and not use 1337.
Respect your fellow Gaians, Behave! D= That means NO FIGHTING. Arguing is fine, violence is not.
You will not PM us. Unless its to PM me your order form.
Don't try to suck up in the hopes of getting a reduced price or maybe even free art. If we want to give you good deals, we will.
You will not, under any circumstances, remove our signatures from any of the art!
We reserve the right to break any of the rules, take as long as we want to make your art, and pretty much rule the world. We call the shots here, you're just going to have to deal with that.
Stick around--don't leave! We enjoy your company and it encourages us to draw you faster.
It's up to you to get your art! We post it in the pick-up section, its your job to retrieve it.
You better watch your language in this thread. Like Gaia says, keep it PG-13.

Don't complain if the finished product of what you ordered isn't what you were expecting. Its not our fault you weren't specific enough when you told us what you want.
Don't complain if we take a long time to finish your art. Please keep in mind that we do have lives outside of gaia, and thus we have other priorities and obligations.
Basically, just don't b***h/moan/whine/complain etc.

All About ICY and Her Art

ICY: Hi everyone! I'm Icy, and I like drawing a lot. Unfortunately, although I color, my short attention span makes it kind of hard for me to sit there and concentrate on coloring it. Thus, I'm going to overprice my colored arts. xD Sorry. Anyway, I guess I should tell you a little about me because this is my intro! Well, I met Soapy on Christmas Eve in 2006, when I made a free art shop. She had an thing for coloring, and started coloring all my pictures. xD This was before I knew how to color at all, so I was really happy.

We became buddies and are finally opening a shop together! < 333

If you want to get on my goodside, you can do something about my quest. I'mcurrently question for a Bone Dragon Helm and one of those blue casino shirts. Okay, I really can't think of anything to write for my intro right now...probably because I'm kind of drowsy because I'm getting sick and it's really early. xD So, I'm going to move on and type more here later when I can think about...me. o.o;;

And Her ART:Okay, you probably want some examples, no? Well, I don't have many ones right now because I have a new style and my old ones are...ugly. SO:

Okay, now that we have some examples, here's what you can buy from me with their prices.

A Regular Waistlength Colored ====== 4-5k Depending on your avatar.

A Chibi Headshot uncolored ==== 500g

A Fullbody Chibi Uncolored ==== 1.5k

A Fullbody Chibi Colored ===== 5-6k depending. Yes, it's more than regular waistlength colored. Why? It's FULLBODY. Deal with me obviously overpricing my colored. xDDD

Chibi Couples Uncolored ====== 2.5k

Chibi Couples Colored ====== 10k. SERIOUSLY. Coloring couples takes me SO long. Not exaggerating. And I already said why I overprice these. Oh. They will be FULLBODY too. Of waistlength, but that's only if your avatars are hard, and I will reduce the price slightly if that happens. D: Sorry.

Regular Couples Uncolored (No further than Waistlength) === Bribe Me. Something between 5 - 10k Because Couples are hard for me. D:

Regular Couples Colored (No Further than Waistlength) === BRIBE ME. Something Over 10k. Something REALLY good, because otherwise I'm not going to do it.

OKAY. Now, there's one more thing you need to know. How to order for my art. So, I'm going to give a little instruction and then post an order form for you to fill out. Mmkay? Good.

So first, you fill out the order form I will post. Duh. Then, you post the orderform. PLEASE don't PM me unless it's an important question. I don't like my inbox overly filling up. D:

After that, when I acknowledge you and put you on my waiting list, send the trade. Don't worry, I won't accept it until I finish your art, and your name goes on the completed. HOWEVER. To avoid unwanted scams, I'm not going to post the link to your art until the trade is COMPLETED. Yep. That's right. Don't worry, you can ask around and I'm an honest individual. xD

All About SOAPY and Her Art

Just so you know, my other account is Mooshroomiehead so you might know me as her instead.

BASICALLY, I'm the resident colorist. :3 Yay.
I color Icy's art because it takes her forever to do it herself, and she likes it when I do it. Although I think my art is sloppy and half-assed, together we're amazing!

Anywho, this is my "intro", I guess. So should I talk about me? No, I think thats kind of boring. On account of this is an art shop I'm sure you'd like to hear about art. I mean, its fairly logical.
Mmkay, basically I like to doodle things in my spare time and people like the way it looks, so I'm participating in this joint art shop with Icy where you can buy avatar art for yourself. OMG! ITS CRAZY! I KNOW! xD

Oh, I color Icy's art for real cheap too. If you want it colored by me, just add 100g to Icy's normal price for the total, but send the 100g to me. Also, use her order form, not mine.. ^^

I mainly do Chibi's just because they're quicker and easier to draw, but I can do regular anime style... it'll just cost you more. XP
Also, I'm a really big procrastinator so if you want your art in a timely fashion bribing is always a good way to go. If you don't want to spit out bribes, stick around and chat.

Ordering Process
Step 1: Post in the thread, something that is more than just a bump/emote.
Step 2: PM me with a completed order form of what you want. The PM must be titled "Art Order" or I will delete it.
Step 3: Wait for me to reply and either accpet/deny your order. Yes, I will sometimes just straight-up tell you I don't want to draw what your asking for. However, this is negotiable. Or maybe you didn't fill out the form right, and I'll tell you what you need to fix.
Step 4: If I have accepted your order, you will go on the waiting list. Wait for your name to appear there.
Step 5: Once you see your name on my waiting list, send a trade with the proper amount of gold in it. This must be titled "Art Payment". DO NOT ACCEPT YET.
Step 6: Stick around and chat, I will not hesitate to cancel your order if I feel you are not active enough in the thread. I will PM you when I am done the sketch with the art in it. It will say "SAMPLE" on it in big red letters to prevent scams.
Step 7 Express your likes/dislikes of the art and I'll try to fix anything I can.
Step 8: Once we've worked out the kinks, I'll proceed in finishing your artwork and then send you a PM informing you it is completed.
Step 9: After you recieve the PM, go to your trades and accept your "Art Payment" trade. Then stop by the pick-up section and go get your art. You might want to save it to your own host, because I do clean out the pick-up list every now and then.
Step 10: If you have any problems with the finished art, or concerns, or if you'd just like to shower me with gratitude, please do so in a POST. Not a PM.
Step 11: Enjoy your newly purchased art, have a nice day, and come back soon! :3

Samantha Mulder -- For being a stupid and obnoxious noob who not only posted in ugly font sizes and overdid emotes, but she accused Soapy of stealing art when it was more than obvious that it wasn't stolen at all. People. Let's use this and learn a lesson. Make sure you know what an art thief is before accusing someone of being one.
Alright, now let me revise that since I'm back to my senses. She was banned from this thread for stirring up a lot of unwanted and distressful controversy which lead to arguments and angered artists. Next time, if you have a problem with something, please be polite and say it calmly and somewhere private where it doesn't involve unnessecary viewers to make it even more complicated and frustrating.
