I am one of the oldbies of the opinion that the General Discussion was once more than it is now. I am also of the opinion that a great deal of this loss in awesome is due to the move of the chatterbox, which happened some time ago.
I believe that, if visible when the forum page loads, more people will enter the chatterbox with the intent to chatter, and fewer of them will slink into the GD. I think this could really help the GD get back to where I feel it once was.
I mean, come on, doesn't Welcome to Gaia really fit in Community anyway?
