Since you are here, you must have, upon seeing a banner or the thread's title, been wondering: (we hope heehee) What is this magnificent-sounding "Dragonfest"? What wonders could it possibly hold? How much cheesier can this mere beginning of the introductory paragraph possibly get? In fact, I'm starting to think that it would have been better just to type:

Okay, so maybe not. sweatdrop Well then, I shall commence with an explanation of the name. (Yay! No thinking required here! )
Dragon: Fat green ugly firebreathing cross between a t-rex and a cow with two ridiculously tiny wings. Is also evil and very stupid, thus often playing a retarded villain role in children's shows.
Fest: Abbreviation for a festival, which is a celebration or an event taking place within a community, often centered around a unique aspect of the community (in our case, B/C community's abundance of purrdy dragons). Anthro dragons count too, you know.
Now, everyone usually dresses up for festivals, which explains why the dragons here might, in fact, look quiiiite different from their above description! But fear not, for I shall make sure to reveal their true natures through my annoying dragon-infuriating rituals! *innocent grin* *gets stampeded upon by angry dragons*

Different shops may have extra rules in their event post, so please pay attention to everything written in the posts of the shops you're interested in! But here are some general guidelines:
No flaming, being mean, complaining, drama-ing, arguing, etc. JUST BE NICE. We've all worked hard on this event, and we hope that everyone will enjoy themselves and be kind to one another- we'd like to avoid at all costs that any conflicts develope in this thread and ruin our happy happy fun fun time, y'know? So if you have anything mean or super-unhappy to say, just go say it somewhere else, or you'll be put on the blacklist and damned to hell for all eternity. heart Thank you so much for your cooperation! 4laugh *innocent smile*
If you don't get the dragon you want, please don't gripe about it. This event is for fun and for all of us shops to help promote one another. If you don't get your first choice of dragon there will certainly be other opportunities to acquire one, both at the shop you're looking at and here!
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SEND A TRADE TO THIS ACCOUNT. (Dragonfest) This is a public mule for use by all of the shops involved and is not by any means involved in any of the transactions. While it's doubtful that anything untoward would happen to your gold if you did send it here, there are going to be a lot of people on and off this account and something might get sent to the wrong place accidentally. Please send trades for specific events to the shop owner/mule specified in the event post you're participating in.
Once again, all caps... o.O;; DUN SEND ANY PMs TO THE MULE OR TO THE SHOP OWNERS UNLESS PERMISSION IS GIVEN TO YOU heart If you have any questions to ask, ask them in the thread! To the event shops (not guest shops):
1. NEVER, EVER EDIT ANY POST EXCEPT FOR YOUR OWN. You have two posts: Your shop post on the front page and your pickup/other post on the second page. You absolutely mustn't touch other people's posts, or you will be kicked out of the event. Harsh, isn't it? ^^;
2. Err, same goes for changing the mule's name, appearance or password. This is to prevent lots of unwanted confusion. So... I repeat, do not change the mule's name, password, or appearance. (The latter is because we don't want any trade mix-ups to occur.)
3. Before starting an event, PM this mule (DragonFest) with a description of your event and around what time you would like to hold it. The time manager will do his/her best to agree on a good time with you <3
4. You may add additional rules, but only for what concerns your own shop, and only on your own shop's post. You may also hold any kind of event, as long as you respect rule #3.
5. Please don't post previews of events in your shop post- only post the event that is GOING ON RIGHT NOW. If you have nothing going on, please leave your post event-less for the time being (but of course you can have other things in there as long as they don't take up too much space, have too many images or are shop-unrelated) We might not keep this rule, but please respect it for the time being. A lot of shops are participating, and we might often have 10 or more events going on, so to prevent confusion (people thinking that an event is going on while it is already over, or hasn't started yet) Otays? surprised
6. VELY VELY IMPOLTANT! ...Or important, if I was to speak normally xP I mean, nolmarry! 8D
Okay, so, listen up: SHOPS ARE COLOR-CODED! >.<;; There is a reason for this! Auctions bids, game-related posts, etc. for a certain shop must be done in the color of that shop! For example, Misty Lane Dragons' color is darkolivegreen. When making an auction bid for Misty Lane Dragons, you must post in darkolivegreen. 3nodding
And to the shops, please follow this rule as well! If your shop's color is red, don't tell people to post their bids in blue.
