Contestants, I will PM you under the following circumstances:
- you PM-ed me saying you wanted to join and I'm replying to say:
a) "I'll put you in" or
b) "Did you read all the rules?" (See RULES for more details)
- you asked me a question about the contest
- the voting started for the round in the avi contest you are in
- you (somehow) won my contest!
(- I won't mail you if you lost. If I ws getting gold for it I might. . . .)

Backstory

Some of you may have remembered the (almost) infamous avi contest known as BK90's Free Avi Contest, but I'm kinda guessing you don't sweatdrop . Now that BK isn't able to go on Gaia as much anymore, he closed his contest down. After many people PM-ing him to join the contest even though he said it was over, he decided to pass the burden, um, ownership of the contest to me. So now we have Whitney9x1's FREE Avi Contest!

Enter the contest before it's too late. There are 6 slots open each round!
You enter simply by PM-ing me telling me you'd like to join
(and with a suggestion on how my avi could look better if you want; this is optional)!
DON'T POST ON THE THREAD ASKING TO JOIN! It's a lot easier for me to see your PM, in case I forget to put you in and you mention it to me, and so I can reply to you as soon as possible! I won't reply to your post on the thread. I apologize if I sounded too harsh.

You may enter a dream avi or avi created using Tektek or the Gaia Avatar Simulator, the same rules apply when submitting the avi into the contest stated in Rule 1.
However, you must pay/trade 50 gold in order for me to put it in the contest. If 50 gold is out of price range, just consider entering you current avi!

Contestants need to keep this place alive by posting!!!
This rule is now enforced. If I find you not posting you'll get a PM from me. You don't want a PM from me. If you want to be on the safe side, bump atleast once every time you log on.

Summary of "Cheating Rule"

You can create threads to advertise the contest, but don't make threads asking people to vote for you!!!

Cheating Rule from BK90 (optional)

It has come to my mind that cheating stinks- whether this is a FREE Avi Contest or one you paid for. I'm not a dictator, but I do not want actual threads dedicated to people voting for you. I do permit threads to publicize the contest and I don't mind if add a little side-note for people to vote for you. If you want to advertise for the contest, feel free to use the advertisements at the bottom of this page. If you want to submit one to me, feel free to, it will be greatly appreciated!
These are just guidelines to let you know how I feel about cheating- I will judge any cheating-like incidents case-by-case (meaning I'll judge differently depending on each individual incident).
If there is a serious cheating problem and you are a contestant, if the cheater wins, I'll have the 2nd place avi win. In addition, I will notify all of the contestants of the cheat and ask them if they'd like to join a new (and hopefully fairer) round in the contest. I don’t expect cheating to be a real problem, but just incase!
In conclusion, I hope you enjoy my FREE Avi Contest and join for the fun!

So if you think it’s cheating, then it is cheating.

(But if I'm in the contest. . . .)
Additional Note: Quite a few people who want to join the contest ask me, "Do I stand a chance?". Don't be intimidated by the other contestants. This is a free contest for fun and who knows you might do better than you think. I you still feel if-y, you can submit a dream avi for only 50 gold.
