RP Info.
Basic stuff. Keep out of character talk, or OOC, in (( )) or something to that effect.
Rules
1.) No godmoding please, it's really annoying and doesn't show your creativety very well.
2.) I would like everyone to be as active as possible, though that doesn't mean it has to be rp all the time, but just being here in the thread to show me you're here is a good way to get on my good side. ^^ *hinthint*
3.) Cybering is a big no-no people. *waves finger in a tsktsk fashion*
4.) Do not kill off other people's pets!
For the time being, rp will be down here, in the main thread; until a better solution presents itself with an oppurtunity.
The scenery that'll be likely the only ones encountered in rp is a vast valley, stretching towards the unclimbable Silver Mountains. Also, rp can be taken further into praire, which connects to the other side of the valley, and the endless forests of Torusha. Though, be careful in the forests... there's no telling what kind of creature could have survived the war in there. On rarer occasions, there are a few who would venture out towards the oceans and its stretch of black sand. There's a rumor, that somewhere along the beach, some sort of volcano, either engulfed by the cliffs or taken under seas, caused the sand to blacken eras ago.
Unicorn Society: Consider it an odd mix between herd life and politics; with Prophets holding the higher up positions in each 'herd' or grouping of individuals familar with each other. Now even so, obtaining such a position is very difficult, costly, and often times takes a bit of underhanded work. Consider these Unicorns to be more like mob bosses, with Flights and Strikers usually working under them; or possibly their rival.
It is believed, that once a Prophet has gained moderate control over the group, that he/she is to be revelled upon. Despite this, he/she usually has the difficult task of settling arguements, choosing the safest place to drink or sleep, and basically look out for everyone's safety while keeping them away from each others throats; so to speak. While this whole protection thing is going on, there's always the possiblity that the Prophet will be underhanded, stabbed in the back, and thrown away like last night's grazing grounds. Why? Because other Prophets are looking for power, and the only way to get it is to prove that THEY are correct, and their rival is down right WRONG.
Because of this, the leading Prophet will most likely keep a band of Strikers within the group at all times for protection, and praise be to the almighty that all of them are loyal! For with a two-faced Striker in the group, working with a rival Prophet, could quite possibly spell disaster.
Wanders and Flights, depending on the type of work, the distance, and the time needed to get the job done; are mostly used to transport small items or bits of information to an individual or group. Whereas Flights are normally loyal to their group, wanders are more like mercenaries, needing to be bought out or 'hired' somehow by the Prophet or other lower-ranked individuals. This can be done by promising services like protection (striker), quick deliveries (flights), and even some influence in the group (prophets). Also, some conventional promises, like a place to sleep for the night, or an 'open dooor policy' (can come and go as they please) with the group can be accepted.
Differences: Though is no offical war or hatred between the two classes, Flickers and Voids, there is a bit of tension between them. Mostly of an untrusting nature, but not necissarily violent outrage against them. Though, with most of the population being made up of the Flicker varity, its mostly the Voids that are blamed for problems. Perhaps it that omnious black that surrounds every eye, or the tendancy to have menacing slitted pupils... whatever the reason; they're different.
Activity for two classes are very different as well, with most of the Voids active during the night, and Flickers during the day. Most enteractiong between the two will happen around dusk, between night and day; or possibly in the dawn hours right when the sun is coming up. They're are a few exceptions of course, but even that would be frowned upon by others of their kind.
