Teh Rules..
1. Steal the lineart and we WILL hunt you down, kthx.
2. No harassing owners or staff.
3. Have respect, and we'll respect you.
4. No selling/re-selling/trading/giving-away of pets without permission from BOTH Sylent Nyte & Ithillien.
5. RP in the Roleplay Thread only, not in the shop thread.
6. No personal problems/drama in the thread, please.
7. PM either owner (Sy or Ithi) with any questions/comments/complaints. We'll be happy to help you.
8. No purchasing any pets until all others&debts are paid off.
9. Sorry, but we will accept absolutely no payment plans.
10. We will not put pets on hold -> No money = No pet
11. Special Editions can be based off of fictional characters only. No real-life people (actors, singers, friends, family, yourself included) what-so-ever. Only your own Gaia character will be permitted UNLESS you have specific permission from another Gaian (and yes, we will be checking!)
12. No Godmoding or killing of other pets. x_X
13. Although these pets are not roleplay required, we request that you try to RP any plot pets (ie. Gods, Demi-Gods, special editions, etc) as often as possible. Pets won't be taken away, but they can be demoted.
14. If you own a cosplay and are inactive for a long period of time without valid reasoning, we reserve the right to redo said cosplay and sell it- this does NOT mean you lose your pet, it simply means there will now be more than one of said cosplay.
15. We have every right NOT to sell you a pet. Please, behave.<3


Pet Rules..
1. Lumini can not be bisexual. They must choose one or the other.
2. All Lumini fear their Gods/Goddesses. Remember, they ARE above you in rank.
3. God/Goddess owners- do not abuse your power, we WILL demote your pet.

Flatsale Rules..
1. Payments accepted are Gaia Gold + Donation Letters only.
2. Claim by type and number.
3. Do not edit posts.
4. No complaining, arguing, or being an over-all confrontational jerk. >>"
5. Wait for the "GO". All other posts before hand will not count.
6. Trades should be sent immediately after you're confirmed as the winner.
7. You MAY reserve a pet for another person as long as payment is recieved asap by the person you are reserving for.

Auction Rules..
1. Absolutely NO SNIPING! scream
2. Only those actively bidding/showing interest within the last 2-3 hours can compete in the last 15 minutes of the auction. Sorry, but if you show no interest and then throw your bid in at the last minute, we won't accept it.
3. Donation Letters accepted at TekTek value.
4. No drama, no guilt-tripping, no obviously choosing favorites.
5. If more than one pet is being auctioned, no more than one pet per person per set is allowed.
6. No more than two people may co-own the Lumini.

Story..
When the universe was created, the stardust merged together. Over time, the Great Mother, Caelestis was completely formed, and therefore has existed since the beginning of time. Wandering the universe, Caelestis became lonely and one day came across the planet Gaia. She decided to bless the Gaian race with companions so they would never feel the lonelieness she had felt for so many years.

She created a series of Nullus Lumini, and when procreated, four children were born - two Carus (good) and two Malus (evil), in order to obtain balance. These Lumini were created as companions/guides/a conscience.

Caelestis realized that the Lumini needed some sort of order and structure so she created the Goddesses of Sin & Virtue. The two Lumini are identical twins, Saligia and Sanctimonia. The Goddesses wanted to be able to tend to the needs of the entire world's population, but because they were only able to be in one place at once, they requested that the Great Mother create Lumini to rule over certain domains of Sin & Virtue. And thus, the Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Heavenly Virtues, were created.

Over time, more Gods/Goddesses, Demi-Gods/Goddesses, and rulers of domains were created to add to the structure of the Lumini.

If the relationship/bond between the Lumini and their Gaian companion becomes strong, the Lumini can grant certain wishes through the Great Mother. After this point, if the bond between the Gaian and their Lumini becomes extraordinarily powerful, the Lumini will begin to take on some features of their Gaian, making them Elders of their race.

Stages..
There are FIVE stages to the Lumini, as follows ::

Lamp -> Whisp = 1 week
Whisp -> Child = 1 week
Child -> Teen = 2 weeks
Teen -> Adult = 2 weeks

Races..
Nullus :: [meaning // not any, no, none] The Nullus race means exactly as it implies- They have no alignment. They're the most basic, neutral, and most common race of Lumini you can get. They're neither good nor evil. They provide you with a fair-minded conscience. They act as an un-biased guide. They encourage you to act accordingly to the situation at hand.

Carus :: [meaning // dear, beloved] Next we have the Carus race- or as most would call them, the "Angelics". They're the extremely good & caring race of the Lumini. This race will be less common than the Nullus. They provide you with a good conscience. They act as a positive guide. They encourage you to act ethically, honorably, and kind.

Malus :: [meaning // bad, wicked, evil] The Malus race is the extremely evil race of the Lumini. They're rude, have very little respect, are foul-mouthed, and are over-all incredibly mean. Most would call them the "Demonic" race. Like the Carus, they will be less common. They provide you with a bad conscience. They act as a negative guide. They encourage you to act unethically, carelessly, and mean.

For an additional fee, your Lumini can have their very own accomplice! In their world, familiars are called "Amicus". Each race has their own Amicus- meaning a Malus Lumini absolutely can not own one of the Carus or Nullus Amicus. Got it? Good! ^_~

Pet Trades and Bribes..
So, you wanna bribe us, eh? I'll let you know right now, it won't come at a cheap price. If you think you have what it takes to bribe us into it, give it your best shot. PM the colorist of your choice (Ithillien or Sylent-Chan) and give 'em an offer they absolutely can't refuse. We may accept! ^_~

As for pet trades, each colorist has their own taste. Take a look below and/or PM your colorist of choice and ask away. Remember, if you want to do a pet trade, the pets MUST be equal in value- that, or we must reallyreally want one. Bwahaha!

Remember, you must state CLEARLY what you're willing to bribe/trade, and what you want in return. We may be ridiculously awesome, but unfortunately we're not mind-readers. Kay? Good.

A :: Many a-ways, young grasshopper. You can get one via flatsales, auctions, raffles, flaffles and commissions. See "Availability" for more info!

Q :: OMGZWAIT! ..Can I get one for free????!
A :: ..... NO. Simple as that. Beg, and you will not receive. Sometimes, we MAY have a giveaway, but don't ask for one.

Q :: But lyke.. They're sooOOooOoOoOooo expensive! =( Why do I have to pay so much?
A :: First of all, 5 stages. Secondly, WHOA DETAILS! Thirdly, they take a long time to color.

Q :: If I can't affordz one, you'll accept a payment plan right!!!!?
A :: Unfortunately not. I've seen people get scammed via payment plans and we don't want to risk it. If you're a regular and a loyal customer/RPer within the shop, there is a veryveryVERY smallllll chance we'll make an exception. If you abuse that privledge, you WILL be banned and reported.

Q :: KAI BUT I WANTZ IT NOWWWWW!
A :: Too bad, so sad. Some days, we may hammer out a bajillion Lumini.. Some days, we won't. We're not robots, and can only handle so much work at a time. Be patient, please. You WILL get your pet as soon as we can get it done.

Q :: What do other shops mean when they saiz "save to your own server"? Does j00 have such a rule?
A :: Yes, we do infact require you to save your pets to your own server. This means that once your pet has grown to it's adult stage, you MUST save it to your PC and upload to your own server (ie. your own website domain, tinypic, photobucket, etc.)

Q :: Can I ownz more tahn one pet!?!
A :: Yes of course. You can own as mannnnyyyy as you'd like, actually. The only thing we ask is that if you have a rare Lumini or you've won games/raffles/etc a lot in the past, that you give others a chance.

Q :: Howz about co-owning?
A :: Co-owning is accepted for Auctions & Customs ONLY. Simply because prices may go extremely high. Pets can be co-owned between TWO people only. If we see that you for whatever reason have a problem sharing the pet, we WILL have to figure out some sort of solution/punishment. For the love of God, don't co-own with someone you can't get along with.

Q :: oOoOoOooo familiars!? I want one! How do I get it!?
A :: Yes, familiars! You can get one either through a flatsale or by commissioning one.

Q :: Iz deez petz RP required?
A :: Nope. There's no rule stating that you absolutely must RP. HOWEVER, we do ask that if you own a Lumini of importance (God/Goddess, special edition, etc) that you RP every once in a while. Also, if we notice you RPing, you may be rewarded. ^_~

Q :: Kay so lyke, where do I RP?
A :: We ask that you RP in the RP thread- a link is provided in the "Shop Links" post.

Q :: What if I buy a Lumini and nevereverever return!? *gasp*
A :: If you own a basic Lumini, although it would suck and we'd be kinda upset, it's fine. IF however, you own a Lumini of importance, we will not hesitate to demote said pet and have it replaced by a more active customer. Pleasepleasepleaseeeee PM the mule account if you plan to go on Hiatus for a long period of time.

Q :: OMG WHY ISN'T MY LUMINI THINGER GROWING?!?!?!
A :: There is a time period between stages. We will absolutely try our hardest to get them grown on time. Please keep in mind, we do have lives and things do come up- so don't panic. It'll get done! See the "Stages" post for the time between stages.

Q :: Can my Lumini make babies!?
A :: Sure can, at the adult stage. Check out the "Breeding" post for all the rules and info about that.

Q :: What about if I want a gay/lesbian Lumini?
A :: Go for it. We fully support gay/lesbianism. And yes, they can still breed.

Q :: What if I don't want your stupid ugly pet anymore?
A :: PM either the mule or one of the colorists (Ithillien & Sylent Nyte). You can NOT sell your pet, so we will take care of it. Depending on your reasoning, you may or may not get a refund. We will use our discretion.

Q :: I R TEH WICKED AWESOME COLORIST!!! ...Can I have a job?
A :: Maybe. Feel free to PM us with a few samples of your work- we'll more than likely bring aboard a few guest colorists and we may hire someone full-time one day if the shop gets too busy for the two of us.

Q :: WTFBBQ I was graylisted! Can I get un-graylisted pleaseeee?
A :: One day, possibly. It all depends on how badly you pissed us/customers off. If we see you're being nice and helpful around the thread, we'll take you off the list. If not, too bad so sad. Should've behaved!

Q :: Ohnoes, I was blacklisted/banned. What now?
A :: Now, we hope it never comes to this. BUT if you've done something so incredibly wrong that you've become blacklisted/banned, there is a very slim chance you'll get off this list. IF we see that you deserve it, we'll move you to the greylist, and go from there.

Q :: Kay so now that I know everything, wanna Affiliate?
A :: Absolutely! PM us your shop (link + banner if you have one) and we'll add you to our list, so long as we're on yours. <3

Gray List :: This means you've broken rules, upset us or annoyed us to a certain extent. When you're graylisted, you CAN still RP your pets and post in the thread, but you absolutely CANNOT purchance any new ones. At this point, we're keeping an eye on you. Make things worse? You're blacklisted/banned. Show you can be a civilized human being? You'll be taken off the list.
