Welcome to Gaia! ::

The Tainted Bloodline

OUTSIDE DESCRIPTION:

Its surrounded by miles of flat ground that gradually grows bumpier the closer to the mountains that it is. The mountains create a picturesque background rolling with blue mist around the large peeking rocks that disappear behind the clouds. There’s a small prickling of trees just in front of the mountains that stretch out toward a bending river that fades into the distance. It’s rumored that near the mountains is a lonely fall that squirts out of the rocks that hold it.

The land in front of the country house is slowly repairing itself. There is evidence of a fire that had once scorched the land, even though new growth is slowly setting in.

Directly behind the house is a garden with a stone path that leads you out among the trees and endless flowers. Beyond that of the garden lies something a little darker. Fenced in by a gothic setting black metal lies the gates of a large graveyard. Many headstones range in age, color and type. The most noticeable are those that lie in at least three mausoleums, as well as a statue of an angel and another of a female demon that stands directly opposite of the angelic gravestone.

The rest of the land is marked by orchards and a vineyard, rice grows in the fields, with corn and soybean, mostly that is used for trade and a way to keep money flowing through the house. Don’t be a little scared if you see a corpse or skeleton from time to time working the fields. Even the country house has it’s own dark little secrets.

Seeing how this is an inn, located to the right of the house and near the back is a large stable to bed horses and make sure they’re treated just as well as their owners.

The house itself is located seemingly in the middle of no where, secluded from the rest of society. However, there is a small gravel road the leads right up to the marble plate that smoothes over the ground in front of the house. Three steps lead up to it, with a stone railing at the side for stability. Three more steps move from that marble to another sheet, on this sheet is a gray stone fountain marked by a gargoyle on top. During the day the fountain emits crystal clear water, however, at night the water turns dark and red, like blood. Ten more steps lead from it up toward the double doors that lead into the country house. To the sides of each of the plates are large looming bushes cut in rectangular shapes with willow trees spaced out beside them. The gravel road winds down the path and eventually down hills before it reaches the country house, showing that in the far distance is a small medieval style town.
Inside Description

Main Room:

After opening the front doors of the house the feeling completely changes. Inside seems rather dark and slightly ill lit even though every so many steps hang wall fixtures to which holds glowing candles that never seem to burn down. The walls are dark colored which seems to absorb most of the light, the pillars and arched doorways are marked with dark gray stone, giving it almost the feel of a dungeon though much more inviting.

Dark tapestries hang on the walls, depicting harsh and bloody battles in most though a few have a dark and serene feel of strange waters and dark winding weather and cemeteries. On the floor and near each doorway is a gargoyle, their eyes and mouth glowing with an internal and endless light to help keep the place illuminated. Three doors appear on each side of the west and east walls, each leading to a different part of the house.

There is an aisle way that leads down the path from the entrance, along the empty walls are couches with coffee tables set in front to set drinks, laying on oriental rugs. On the right side near the couches is a break in their formation to allow the use of a gray stone fireplace. To the left is the bar, created from oak wood with a fine finish, ivy leaves etched into the edges. Red bar stools are lined up along the bar. Spread out before it lies at least five tables with two chairs each set at the ends.

To the right is a large red and black rug placed on the floor. A towering set of old stone stairs are set out before you that leads upstairs to the guest rooms.

.:Reserved:.
The figure of a lone woman stood in front of the marble slate stairs. She stared at the building in front of her in contempt, a snarl nearly coming from her lips.
So... they rebuilt it afterall...
A hand under her silver cloak clenched, wringing itself as she stared at her old home. Flames ran through her mind and she grimaced, her eyes showing a hint of pain and fear that normally didn't touch this woman. Slowly her legs inched forward as she scaled the steps, her eyes staring at the large doors before she slowly opened them.

Spolcyc was laying contently on a couch, staring blankly up at the ceiling. His ears twitched slightly at the sound of the door's opening. There hadn't been any visitors for awhile. He sat up slowly and looked to the woman who had just entered the Inn. After a moment, he got up from the couch and walked towards the door. His hooved feet clicked on the floor gently as he approached. He stretched his large bat like wings a bit as he walked. "Welcome To The Tainted Bloodline." He gave a small, lazy bow. He was to tired at the moment for a visitor. "Is there anything I can," Yawn ,"help you with?"
