Spring has sprung and we N00blets are getting geared up for our 1337 celebration! GET EXCITED. More details will be provided as I think of them.
For today's news, I would like to point out that there has been some editing done to the first page. Some officers were moved around and the list of banned members has been deleted. If anyone has issues with the changes, feel free to go cry to your mom about it. 3nodding

HAPPY NEW YEAR, N00BLETS!
Well, After-new Year, but whatever.
I'd like to thank everyone who posted throughout the month of December. The Army rolled past 1200 pages and we gained NINE new members! Good work guys! It's great to know our little corner of Gaia still has some zazz in her. I extend a hearty hello to all the new members and I hope you enjoy your incarceration stay!

Here is the information.
I'm thinking it's about time for another 100 postversary pantsaganza. We'll likely be following the same formula as the last YPFO-athon, but if you have any ideas, do send them my way via PM. If I decide to use your idea, you will be given 1k golds and notoriety.
Prizes being considered this time around:
-Avvy art by me (I like to think of myself as a bit talented XD)
-The good ol standby, donation letters
-Also gold
-An assured slot in the upcoming Mod Campaign for the guild.

Ideas for contests should encourage new members for the guild and/or thread, and activity, and more importantly, fun.

Hello nooblets! This is Vice Captain Mirrin reporting in for Uiru. The first page has been prettied up a bit and some banner problem's have been fixed. The Army's been rolling along nicely, but I'd like to see people posting more! I know you're out there!
New members have been popping up as well. In fact, the nooblet count is almost at 300! GASPS.

We will be having a 600-page contest of my own devising!

Over these past 1000-something pages (Yes, for those of you not in the know, we were set back a bunch of pages by a rollback) friendships have been forged, good times have been had, and evil forces have been combated. Many have dropped by the wayside, the original beloved proprietor Hikaru-sama included. So in honor of another hundred-page waypoint reached, a contest will be held. The rules are simple. The first person to have the words "Your pants fly off" somewhere bolded in their post (Be creative! mad ) after the 600-post limit has been reached will recieve 1000+ Gold. Boring, right? Well, here's something of a competitive element for ya: The last person to have it bolded in their post will recieve a donation letter of whatever the current month may be when the contest is won. The limit for the YPFO spree is 6 hours after the last was posted. If six hours go by without anyone posting it, then whoever posted it last wins! One person cannot win both prizes, however. Should this be the case, they will have their choice of the prize they want and the person who posted YPFO after their winning message will get the other. The only stipulation I place upon this is that you are not eligible for playing until you have been a registered enlisted nooblet for at least 24 hours. Prepare yourselves, nooblets! And may the best nooblet win!

Updated the poll. The outcome of the last one is that we will indeed have contests for nifty prizes. biggrin More on that soon as I figure out how they'll work. Probably recruiting contests for donation letters or something.
