Ok, this is how it's going to work. Post however you'd like (you can RP. RP is fun. XD. ) saying you're launching and include your number. Mind, you don't NEED to launch-post, it'll explode later if you don't, but the people who post are done first.
You will get a BAG with really obvious hints to what's inside.
Throughout the day--whenever I'm gone--I'll freeze launches. Please don't post for me to launch them then, so I don't have to fish through pages. I'll update the title when this happens.

Nieken Eggs 101, aka Seif's big and unusual speech
Nieken eggs are very intriguing objects. The Nieken inside matures for a week or so, then sits dormant in the shell. Any human or Nieken touch at this point will superheat the egg fluid inside, summarily causing the egg to burst open and shatter. The egg liquid, although hot, then turns into a steam-like gas with fog-like properties. This gas easily renders a moderately sized area completely opaque, yet it disperses in a matter of minutes. The young Nieken is then revealed to be completely unharmed by this process, and dry as well. biggrin

Some basic facts...
-Nieken communicate telepathically, because they know how much it annoys you.
-Nieken are highly talented at swimming, hence fins and blobbly paws.
-A way to stab anything other than oneself with Nieken horns is unknown, therefore they are mainly used as a helmet of sorts when the Nieken are being stupid. n_n;;
-Nieken live to make your life difficult whilst simultaneously being cute as a button.

The stages...

EGG (1-2 weeks)
Behavior
The inanimate stage. However, eggs have, in the past, rolled about, fled the thread, and even gone so far as to toss themselves at a certain easily frightened person whose name starts with an "S" and ends with an "eifereru"--all quite inexplicably. Any explanation for this is not yet known, however, it is safe to assume that this is connected with the natural Nieken desire to disregard the rule. Yes, that includes natural law. Bah, rebels.

Physical
Nieken eggs tend to be a bit wobbly-shaped, mainly because Nieken are just...weird 'lil buggers like that. They are perfectly shiny, though. This can be attributed to Seif waxing them all before sale, because shiny=customers. 3nodding Now make a (big) "C" with one hand. Done? Good. That's how big an egg is. </poor man's scale chart>

Inside the egg is, sadly, nowhere near as shiny. It's...not pretty. You've got the tiny Niekéling,, and a whole bunch of goo...but what's important is that this unappealing goo superheats when the egg's ready and it's touched by the owner. Hence, a rather dangerous explosion, producing an inconvinient pea-soup fog. The shell thins as time goes on, so, eventually, Seif's going to crack the darned thing herself or you get to experience the miracle of life yourself. razz

GAMMA/BABY (1-2 weeks)
Behavior
At this stage, your Nieken is a confused lil devil. Take advantage while you can! Nieken tend to wander around and utter a confused, "Meeru?" or "Eru?" frequent, especially when confronted by "OMFGITHATCHED!" owner behavior. ;3 Your devoted follower, they aren't really...too bright just yet. XD;;

Physical
Horns are tiny nubs, there are no signs of fin appearance yet, but damn, those ears...those ears are already humongous. Apart from that, you now have a pudgy blobby thing! Congrats!
Well, other that those ickle Niekésounds, no speech is possible.

Now go pick up a basketball. No--wait--that one, over there. By the fish tank. No, the other. Mmmkay, got it? Don't be dropping it now. That is the size of your Nieken. XD;;

BETA/MID-STAGE (1-2 weeks...again XD)
Behavior
A Nieken has finally wisened up a bit by this stage--it can give you dirty looks now! Huzzah! A Nieken gets a bit more adventurous and doubting at about this time, but they can still be tricked with relative ease.

Physical
Fins starts to sprout at this stage, and horns become long, straight, and most importantly, quite dangerous whilst rolling about. Limited speech is possible. Other than that, they're just a bit larg--WAIT. I mean, um...grab one of those reallybigbutnottoobig fans. Theeere's your Nieken. XD;; *bricked*

ALPHA/ADULT (forevaar--for now. XP)
Behavior
Pick up your average human teenager. There's your personality, except smarter and probably more arrogant. XP

Physical
Now pick up a small deer. Need I say more? Full use of telepathic communication skills.

Breeding/Breeders' Info
Breeding is now: CLOSED

In order to prevent rapid advances in the Nieken population, there will only be a certain amount of breeding spots open per, well..."breeding season". (Breeders are asked to keep their slots to a max of two, please.)
Breeders receive 70% of the profit, leaving me with 4.5k. n_n;;
Breeding fee is 15k per couple. 2-4 eggs are produced, decided randomly.

Ask for a slot, and the breeder will be PMed. Please, please don't bug them about your breeding. o__o;;

Resumes growth of Stopped Nieken.

Takes Nieken back one stage. The Nieken will continue growth back to its
grown stage though, unless a Stop Potion is used.

4. Speed...Potion XD 500g
Speeds growth of your Nieken (unless I'm having a lazy streak, then you can't buy 'em xP).

5. Jump Potion 750g (pic soooon XD)
Jumps your Nieken to its next stage (ASAP).
