The Roaring Flames Charity is a charity created for questors of all kinds.
Since May 2004, we've donated to hundreds of people and helped numerous
questors get the items they love. We're open, kind, and helpful to those who
read the rules, so come on in and make some new friends. ^_^

Halloween will be our big event! We'll be having a major party, free of charge and
will be giving away tons of Halloween stuff and gold. Please read all of the rules
and announcements before posting or entering any of the listed contests. Link to

UPDATES

January 16th
If anyone posted an app and feels they got overlooked
don't be shy about re-posting it! There are so many pages to go through and
not enough time for princess to look at all the pages. ^^

October 6th
OH MY GOSH GUYS! I'm so sorry I haven't been here! School
is taking up so much of my time, and I've been grounded. I'll try to get on as much
as I can! PLEASE, Apply to be a helper, you'll be good at it, I promise.

September 12th
I changed the look of the frontpage a bit, and changed the mule
account as well! We are also in need of helpers, check the announcement post for
more details. Princess is in the process of switching the charity lotto over to her
account in hopes of making it more active. But don't worry! The porceeds of
princess's portion will still go to the charity! Happy days!

August 8th
The new month is underway! All the donations from last month have been
sent out and the list has been updated. Thank you every one who has been patient with the
ressurection. ^_^ If you're having issues with anything, or if you think we may have missed
your donation request please let me know. That's all for now. <3

July 17th
First of all I'd like to welcome our new charity
helper and all around great person,
ItsUber2! She's gonna help me get this charity back on it's feet since
there's so much to do. We've also hired a new bumper heekahmee! A
few of the rules have changed to help people get a donation easier, so
please make sure to re-read the rules post before posting an application.
We're also looking to expand our staff and for people to help with the
charity lotto. Thanks all for your support and stay posted for more stuffs
to come!


Old Updates
March 15th
After an extremely long hiatus, I'm getting
things back on track! An easter event is in the works though I'm still
a bit sketchy on prizes. If anyone wants to donate, feel free! So for now,
the charity is on semi-functional level while Princess gets her stuff
together. So sorry for the delay, but I won't forget about this place! heart

December 30th
WOOT! Getting closer! Merry Late Christmas/Kwanzaa/Hannakkah/Nothing. heart I hope everyone
had a good holidays and/or break from school and work.

The charity is definately gonna pick up after the first of the year! Princess is going to
be really busy next week, and will temporarily be going on hiatus status in her shops
and threads, but the charity will still be open for application posting/chatting/all
around good stuff anyway. So while Princess is gone, behave!

....no wrecking my office Neo. ninja

I'll prolly be back the week of the 9th on, as that is the day my oldest son goes back to
school, and we'll be settled into a routine. Princess will also be done with her various
commissions, projects, life junk and such, so....I'll see you then! Love you guys, ALL
of you, and much much thanks and appreciation/loving/huggling to everyone
who got me a Christmas present, or who hangs out in my threads and just plain
chats with me. I love you guys. heart

Also, Elda-Chan has suggested a Valentine's event since last year's was fun, let

November 30th
Another after-3-months-update. For anyone who didn't know where I had disappeared too,
I got addicted to Ragnarok Online. Seriously addicted. o.0 Anywho, I have been slacking
on charity applications and lotto involvement so I'll bring that around within the
next month. The applications thus far that have been put into the charity by people
have been denied. If you didn't get a donation it's because you didn't read the rules.
It's been brought to my attention that donation requests have been non-existent.
I'm wondering if we need to slacken the rules a bit to allow more people to get
donations, or whether we should continue moving into a charity-specific item (as
in give less people donations, but increase the donation amount.) I'll listen to
anyone's ideas on this as I have no clue what everone feels about the charity.
Also, Christmas is coming up soon and some ideas have been brought forth that
we should all agree/disagree on. I'm going to let the Christmas'y thing be up to
all of you, so you can look at the ideas, submit your own, and decide between
yourselves what you think would be more fun. ^^ So far:

2. Mystery Gift Echange

Someone suggested I pick the items, another person suggested we draw names.
It's up to you guys^^ Also, if anyone is interested with helping get the lottory
back up-to-date let me know, because Elda and I have been way too busy and

Charity Lotto Announcement
The RFC is in need of volunteers! If you ever wanted to help out at a charity
now is your chance! It won't be paid work, but you'll definately meet a
whole bunch of new friends, get to participate in all of the charity-run
events, and have the added bonus of a charity to donate to your personal
quests when you need it. ^_^ PM princesspwrm or post here in the thread
to sign up!

For Questors
1. You must have at least 500 posts on gaia for us to give you a donation.
2. You must have at least 5 posts in the thread before we will give you a
donation. The posts may be bumps or conversation, but we encourage
you to talk to us. n.n
3. You must have been a gaia member for at least 3 months.
4. Your quest thread must have at least 20 pages and be at least two weeks old.
5. You must provide a reason why we should give you a donation.
6. It would be nice if you had some funds for your quest already, though
not required.
7. The better your application looks, the more you post here, and the
amount of gold you have towards your quest guide our decision in how
much we give, if we give to you, please remember this.
8. If you receive a donation, please thank us in the thread. Being appreciative
helps get you more donations. ^^
9. If we have donated to you before, you must wait at least 2 months
before asking for another donation, and must have made some progress
on your quest.
Here is the form for asking for a donation. Fill out this form and post
it in the thread. Address it to either princesspwrm or ItsUber2.
Under no circumstances should you ever PM one of the charity staff about a donation. stare

Rules For the Thread
