History:
Joey loved kittens. Oh sure, he loved dogs and birds and turtles and all of that, but he loved "Tutty tats" best of all. As soon as his toddler hands could grip those crayola markers, he started to draw kittens. Kittens with little white socks, kittens with grey and black stripes, you name it, he had it. Joey just couldn't draw enough cats!
Soon, Joey started school. And each day, armed with those crayola markers, he managed to work cats into his assignments. His volcanoe science projects sprouted kitty ears, his family tree had a fluffy tail. He hated two things most about school, though: Recess and Library. Recess, because a mean girl named Milly always chased him around and threw rocks at him. And Library, because he was forced to work there. While he longed to read cat books, his father (school principle) made him stack books, to 'build character'. So class time was the only time he could draw his precious cats.
But then Joey became a teenager. And when you're a teenage boy, things change. Joey stopped thinking about cats, and started thinking about girls. Now, recess and library weren't so bad. Milly started to leave him alone at recess, which gave him time to draw the things he loved most: Girls. Sure, sometimes they occasionally got cats ears or a tail, but they were cute none-the-less. And during Library, there were no books to stack. What kind of teenager goes to the library? Then, halfway through the school year, Milly started coming back to the library... More and more often... And now, she had a different sort of attitude towards him.

History:
Bell was born in spring. Her heart belonged to the spring. It also belonged to the pencil, which she discovered around the age of 4. So, she spent most of her young springtimes skipping around outside, searching for all things pretty and fresh. She would play in the grass, hide behind the trees, and stare at the flowers. And when her mother called her to come back in, she would sit with her box of crayons and draw everything she'd seen that day...
Bell danced in the summer. Her heart belonged to summer. It also belonged to a boy named Ben, but she only ever saw him in school. Next year, she'd be in grade three! So, she spent her summertimes dancing through fields of flowers and rolling down grassy hills. And on the rainy days, she would sit and draw all the pretty flowers she had found during her adventure... And all the pretty little Bens she thought up in her imagination.

History:
Ben, even from a young age, was an artist. But, he wasn't exactly the kind of artist you usually saw. Although he drew pictures, he was also an artist with words... He loved to read, and to write. When he was very young, before he could even hold a pencil right, he began learning the alphabet. It was hard work, but every day he practised his letters, and simple words. And then, he wrote a poem. Then, for the rest of his life, that was it. Art and Poetry were his world.
When Ben became a little older, he had mastered the alphabet, and very soon mastered spelling. Grammar was easy, and school was simply a breeze. The only thing he couldn't master was Bell. In kindergarten, he had sent her pretty letters on the yellow paper with dots in between the lines. Now, in grade three, he sent her letters of love on the crisp white sheets of looseleaf he got from his teacher. But no matter what he wrote, she would just giggle and run outside to pick flowers. Art, Poetry, and Bell were his world.

History:
Takahiro Maeda loved to paint. He was only 3, but already he held the brush perfectly in his tiny hands. He lived in a small home in the mountains of feudal Japan, with his mother, father, and older brother. One day, he was visted by a Samurai Woman, named Aki. His young heart fell instantly in love with her sword and her armour, her lifestyle and her honor. And even though they were just scribbles, one could faintly make out all those things in his delicate paintings... On the day that Takahiro turned five years old, his parents bought him his first set of real paints. He loved them, and instantly began to paint things. But none of them came out nearly as well as those that were simply recreations of his older works. And so, he funneled his creativity into recreating and modifying his older arts. And with each new painting, he became more talented...
