8-11-05: still need 3 guest colorest. and i have opened the custom flat sale!!!
8-3-05: hey join in the fun!!! i need 5 people to color one adult each. any leave of colorest is welcome. you will get 50% of wht you make in the flat sale. please make sure to follow rules like no stelling that art and claiming it to be urs ect.. just post if you want to color a male or a female and send it back to me

7/9/o5: i have been told that we do have a winner for the writing contest the winners story will be put up in the story area soon! ALSO i have started a flat sale.
7/8/05: lady within is takeing a break from gaia so untill she tells me other wise the shop manger (me jezebel_in_hell) will be takeing over. i am closeing all contest for now ( meaning wrighting contest and any job contests) i will be haveing a flat sale to get the shop going again ASAP thank you much

I'm running a story contest RIGHT NOW! I want a story of why some of the Griffens or all of them decided to go to the other side of the wood, away from the Fluffy Cats. Basically they are going to be on the opposite side of the Western Wood so it will become the Eastern Wood for them.

For those of you that don't know the Western Wood is chock full of evil. Demon Fluffies and Vampire Fluffies. So you could either write a story as a means to add more protection (surrounding the enemy) or they just feel that they are too different from their smaller cousins.

Contest Begins Now
Contest Ends: When I have enough entries to choose from, at least a week.

Rules:

1. Please show respect to everyone and you'll be respected in return.
2. Please do not steal anything from this shop. Not the lineart, banners, ANYTHING.
3. Please do not beg or whine for a griffen, it just makes us all feel bad or ticks us off.
4. Please try to watch your language, I know I have a problem sometimes but do not be overly gutter mouthed, there are children about and one of them is mine irl so you have been warned.
5. Do not harass my colorists for free pets.
6. Do not harass anyone in this shop, customer or vistor under no circustance.
7. Do not flame or spam this thread with nonsense. Do NOT STRETCH THE PAGES!!!
8. Please have the amount of gold or items at the time of sale, do not make commitments that you cannot keep.
9. If you make a payment arrangement with one of the colorists then stick to it or your griffen will be taken from you without a refund.
10. Please make sure to come back periodically, while roleplay is not manditory, seeing you around is nice.

FAQ:

Q: Can I have one?
A: If there's one on sale and you can cover the price then yes, sometimes we have give aways or special deals so keep your eyes peeled.

Q: Are these changing pets?
A: Yes they are, currently there are 3 standard stages with the option for an anthro stage soon.

Q: Will I lose my Griffen if I don't come back.
A: >.> No, but this may change if I get a bug up muh butt.

Q: How many can I own?
A: As many as you want, though you are limited to purchasing one at a time during a flatsale unless they have been on sale for over 24 hours.

Q: Do they breed?
A: Yes they do, not often but they do.

Q: If I breed two of my Griffens in roleplay will that get me babies?
A: No, that will get you banned, romance is fine but if you dare cyber anywhere where I or my thread moderators can see it you're so banned and having a mod after you. PG- 13!!!

Q: Can 'family' Breed?
A: True family, no damn it. Adopted.... yeah I guess but that's still funky. Just keep it PG-13 for the love of all that is good and pure.

Q: How many times can they breed?
A: Um, unless they're spayed or neutered there is not limit to the amount of times they can breed, though there is a limit on how many eggs are laid.

Q: Can different types breed?
A: Nope, this shop is just the Griffens for now, but I may be comissioning different varieties in the future.

Q: Can my pet die?
A: Yes, your pet can die, it can get sick, cursed and hurt. While not in order of severity all of the above maladies, including death can be reversed for a cost or a roleplay with the priestess in the Temple of the Goddess Byiajah.

Q: If I have a question that isn't answered here what do I do?
A: Look at the recent posts, if you see a staff member online then ask them in the thread, they may have the answer, if not or there isn't anyone around, pm me.

Halo: 20k Any color, I don't want them to be too common. With a Halo will come an ability from the goddess.

Breeding is closed for the moment. Breeding cost is 10k Total, with anywhere from 2-5 eggs per clutch. 1 egg for the mother's owner, one egg for the father's owner and then a 10% cut of the flatsale price for each sold by staff members.

Common

Flight: All of the griffens can fly, anywhere between 60mph and when they really put their wings to the test 100mph and that's not even counting the swiftness of them as they dive.

Intelligence: While some may not think this is an ability in truth it is. Intelligence, the ability to communicate verbally with one another and with other races including those of humanoid natures.

Jumping: Griffens are very agile, able to leap into the branches of tall trees without any effort at all on their part.

Heightened Senses: Not only can they see color and have normal vision in the daylight, these griffens have night vision as well. There is little that can go on around them without them seeing it, hearing it or smelling it.

Improved Charisma: Basically this means that they are either cuter, more well spoken or just really convincing in getting their way.

Inspire Fear: These cats are naturally frightening to behold. Sometimes it's taken as awe, other times just flat out fear. In most cases, Griffens are respected and very wise.

Scream: They can lift their call to an ear piercing shriek that can gain quite a lot of attention or if close enough, possibly stun the one that they have used their scream on.

Uncommon:

These are abilities that are only learned through roleplay, if you roll play your griffen for a while and you send me your posts or alert me to where you are posting them, then I can look them over. Remember that it is always best to consult with me if you are going for an ability for your Griffen. Some things have to be blessed by the goddess, like anything magical. Though existing abilities of the common sort can be improved with work.

Rare:

These will be the goddess blessed abilities, as a few examples, heal and detoxify. These go up to level 10, 1 being a novice, 10 being a master, I will list them as they are achieved. You can attain a blessing though roleplay or you can bribe me with gold.

Unique:

There will be times when a Griffen will have an ability that no other Griffen will have or will ever have unless this gifted Griffen has children. Unique abilities are gained through auctions, story contests and other such activity.

Or you may roleplay in the Garden outside the shop, griffens being roughly the size of adult lions are too big to come into the shop. Eggs and children can come into the shop though.

Map to be added of the shop and the area of the forrest the Griffens reside.
