My friend, Doctor Moonwalker was resently banned because her brother created a gaia account on her computer and posted pornography.

She was banned because they banned all accounts on that IP. Now seeing as it is possible for multiple people using the same IP to use gaia, especially when they are in the same household, where the IPs are the same on the whole network. I feel this ban/the banning method is stupid.

Last week my IP changed twice, it is possible that either of the new IPs I received from my ISP could infact have been in use by somebody who has broken the ToS many times. I don't know. But if a mod had chosen to ban the accounts with that IP my account would be gone.

Also, if my sister, or my brother, decided they needed to register on gaia, and post pornography I would also get banned. That is not fair.

And seeing how that happened to Doctor Moonwalker, I feel her account should be unbanned immediatly. And only the account used to post the porn be banned.

I have to agree with satan296. But I think what they could do is when/if she gets a new computer, they could at least help her in getting back some of the more expensive stuff. It wasn't her fault, and it isn't fair, but I think it's better that her brother can't come back here.

And tell her not to tell her brother her new password, or set her computer up so she has to type it when she logs on, instead of saving it.

Sorry, but I won't sign. I know it's not fair and I feel for her, but I don't think it's worth it.

It isn't an IP ban like you would think. they banned all accounts on that IP at the time.

Ah okay, thanks for clearing that up. Honestly, this is the first time I've heard Moonwalker getting banned, I just kept hearing she quit due to some confrontation with Hazy.
