The Pokémon Regions contain a Pokémon Master-only Region that allows you, who have explored several other Regions, to explore a brand new Region and capture rare and never-before-seen Pokémon only found here!
The List of Conquered Regions
Kanto
First Region of where Pokémon appeared. Also found below are the Sevii Islands, a group of 9 islands located south of Kanto.
Professor Samuel Oak
Specializes in the Pokédex and Pokémon poetry.
Starter Pokémon:
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu and Eevee.
Orange Islands
Set of islands that host the Orange League, and an effect of the climate is the presence of Shiny Pokémon.
Professor Felina Ivy
Specializes in tropical climate effects.
Johto
Second Region of where Pokémon appeared, connected directly to the Kanto Region. In this Region it was discovered that Pokémon could Evolve with Happiness, with the time of day effecting the outcome for some Pokémon.
Professor Elm
Specializes in Eggs and Evolution.
Starter Pokémon:
Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile.
Hoenn
Third Region of where Pokémon appeared. It revolutionized Pokémon in terms of being the first Region to host Double Battles and Pokémon Contests.
Professor Birch
Specializes in habitats and distribution.
Starter Pokémon:
Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip.
Orre
Only area with the appearance of Shadow Pokémon.
Professor Krane
Specializes in Shadow Pokémon purification.
Sinnoh
Fourth Region of where Pokémon appeared.
Professor Rowan
Specializes in Pokémon Evolution.
Starter Pokémon:
Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup.
Fiore
First area where Pokémon Rangers became prominent.
Almia
Second area where Pokémon Rangers became prominent.
Oblivia
Third area where Pokémon Rangers became prominent.
Professor Hastings
Specializes in the features of the Capture Styler.
Nema
Capable of upgrading the features of the Capture Styler furthermore.
Unova
Fifth Region of where Pokémon appeared, far away from all of the others. The ecosystem changed over time, from first having only Pokémon native to Unova to having Pokémon of all kinds over a 2 year period.
Professor Juniper
Specializes in the origins of Pokémon.
Starter Pokémon:
Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott.
Ransei
Region where Pokémon appeared, shaped in the form of Arceus. Divided into 17 nations, each containing their own castle.
Kalos
Sixth Region of where Pokémon appeared, far away from all of the others, as well as Unova. Once again revolutionizing Pokémon, having the features of Horde and Sky Battles, along with the first evidence of Mega Evolution, a special form of evolution which has since expanded to Hoenn!
Professor Augustine Sycamore
Specializes in Pokémon Evolution.
Starter Pokémon:
Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie.
Alola
Seventh Region of where Pokémon appeared, once again far from all of the others.
Professor Kukui
Starter Pokémon:
Rowlet, Litten, Popplio

Located above all of the previously mentioned Regions, yet maintaining it's placement equidistant from each one, it has connections that expand to all of the Regions known thus far. More to come! (Connection to Ransei at the moment is still unclear, however.)
