Kimberly wrenched her wrist free of Felix' grip with a slight hiss. He was already being far too forward for her liking, and all to go back. Regretful or not, he was moving to cross the line again.... "Stop, Felix." she said, more commandingly, "You're not getting what you want, and I'm sorry it's gotten you this way, but there's nothing I can do willingly about it. Now get off before I resolve to tell Jack and the others when they rise. I won't ask again; leave."

Felix chuckled, a tendril of darkness flickering around his form before he seemed to disappear and reappear behind Kimberly. "You are driving a desperate man to desperate measures dove." He murmured in her ear, hand clenching a knife curled around her neck. "I will ask once more for help before I take what I must. One more drink of your blood and ne'er again will you be plagued by the Captain of Demon's Feather. One more drink, and I will find some other angel to quench my thirst." Here he paused, looking down at Kimberly with a slightly longing sigh.

"I admired you once for more ways than one. Your fearful defiance, your ability to heal through painful memory, all lovely qualities of a woman, dove." Felix murmured, a hand snaking around her midsection, further forcing her into immobility.

Kimberly's figure began to glow a dark red for a moment as she surrendered to her nature and shifted into her own shadow to slip through Felix' grip and reform opposite from him and beside her window with a slight smile. "Me, defiant? I'm only laying claim to what's mine, and you're going to have to do more than fear to bring it out. Come on, if you're so desperate..."

She hopped out of the window and landed deftly on the water's surface, undisturbing of the flow of its body as she straightened. She ran a few paces along and reached for the belt hanging about her back, tearing it free as a line of darkness shot through it, creating a whip in its wake which she held in a curl at her side. "I'm not afraid anymore..."

Felix sighed, shaking his head. "I won't fight you dove." He said quietly, moving to the window, leaning against its frame with his elbow. "It grieves me to see you so quick to take to violence. So unlike the girl I used to know." He said calmly, quietly, unwilling to wake those who lay above. "It is hardly unfair for me to propose this exchange. One more night of suffering for an eternity of peace from your past."

"Furthermore, without you I may be willing to experiment on more mere divine subjects. You and I both know what the Courts and even this very vessel head into will need everything we have. That includes a particular sea goddess who has taken to bedding the head of the Courts, and weakening herself for it. I daresay that it would not be hard to overpower her." Felix said.

"What?" Kimberly's aura faded to its standard cyan glow, and she let her whip flow back into its beltlike form. "What did you say...?"

A goddess, of the sea no less. No surprise, then that Jack's particular brand of misadventure appeared as chaotic as she had been led to believe. Still, if she was in a position to be in with any of the Courts, it was a bad sign to be sure. Her fears rose, both relating to her own well-being and Jack's. The fact that the situation was unlikely to get much better if any better at all.

"Oh, you didn't know did you?" Felix asked, a shadow of amusement crossing his face and echoing in his words. "So curious that Captain Jack Cortez would neglect to mention that his mother and father have been reunited, and that he indeed is spawn of both pirate royalty and sea goddess alike." Felix said with a quiet laugh.

"Then again, associating himself with Calypso might create for himself a target upon which other pirates may try to impale their cutlasses." Felix said with a shrug, fixing his sleeve. "Even still dove, I would not hesitate in draining her. You and I both know that hesitation is not one of my traits."

"Enough!" Kimberly called up to Felix, gritting her teeth. "I told you already, this is between you and me - and I've already said no! If you want me to give in so badly then come down and make me, you pig!"

She clasped the belt-loops about her arms again, figuring not even to need them as she played around in her mind with how best to make him regret the moment he had even met her.... All manner of her innocence honestly portrayed even earlier that day was gone, her voice taking on dangerous undertones that indicated that not only was she as serious as could be, she was equally malicious on the same prospects. Her aura flared slightly.

"Come down here... coward. Face me if you dare."

"You don't understand!" Felix cried in mild irritation. "Yes this began with you and I, but now it has grown far far larger. This concerns you only because I need something from you, something I could gain quite easily from someone else. Your taunts fall on ears of stone." He growled, glaring down at her, black eyes searching hers for a moment before he chuckled, tasting the essences around him. "Of course, why hadn't I thought of this sooner?" He asked shaking his head and straightening.

"I do suppose that Adeska will have to do for now then, if you won't be a good little dove." Felix said with a shaking of his head. "Unless you of course would reconsider your offer, but selfishness has a trend in the breeds of vampirism, I don't deny it myself." Felix said turning away from the window.

Kimberly sighed and stepped along the water's edge into a leap that left her perched in the window, staring eye to eye with the man, unconditional hatred etched into her every feature. "What makes you say submitting yourself this so-called 'last time' to your addiction to Light is going to relieve you of it, or relieve me of you for that matter?"

"Its a promise that I will find someone else, regrettably." Felix said softly, looking down at Kimberly's neck before back up to her eyes, his hand nervously twitching. "I merely have precious little time to search, therefore I merely am asking for a little more time." He explained quietly. "Every thirst can be quenched for a time; why do you think I attempted to prolong my night visits to you? No matter though, I matter very little, you'd rather me dead now wouldn't you?" Felix asked, narrowing his eyes slightly in his searching for an answer.

It couldn't have been true. For a brief moment Kimberly felt a slight sympathy for him but then she figured easily enough it could just as well be a simple ploy. Her eyes remained narrowed, but she did not allow herself into the shadow of her mother's half. "I'm going to say this only because you gave me shelter for twenty-two years of my life that I would have died quite quickly without. Find another way, Felix. You don't need blood like mine in order to live, you need blood. You don't even have to kill. That's how I survived, and to some small extent could get along with mortality; I was merciful. Get over yourself, move on."

She slipped inside her room and gestured out through the window with an aggravated stare. The narrowing of her eyes became dangerous. "And leave, before I make an effort to kill you here and now. I will not ask again."

Felix laughed hollowly and shook his head. "I do need it Kim. It is a curse, my veins run with fire now as we speak." He said softly, nearly sadly before he bitterly smiled and shook his head. "But as I said, you'd rather me dead, and I don't say I blame you, but I hope my spirit haunts you for the rest of your endless life." His eyes narrowed and his anger spiked, his hand reaching for his own weapon before he merely shook his head again and stepped away for a moment, leaning against one of the wood pillars.

"Then kill me then. I doubt that my way of dying will be any better than at the hands of someone I knew." Felix said suddenly with a laugh, shooting a glare over at Kimberly.

Kimberly stopped, her face expressionless in its entirety. She thought for a moment and fell to a seat against the wall on the bed, maintaining her distance from Felix but also calming substantially. Something wasn't right, as always. Still, recent retrospect had dictated not all of that was his fault, and even worse may have been her own.

"Stay where you are for now, Felix.." she breathed quietly, "What happened to you, after I left? If you need it as you say, then logically you would be dead by now. What happened to make things so different?"

"After you left, I left as well and went voyaging, as soon as I had learned of the curse I had placed upon myself. Upon finding that I could exist upon priestesses in Maheed, I existed there for a time, but my presence took its toll." Felix laid his head back against the pillar and closed his eyes. "I soon after left and traveled to a good friend of mine who directed me to an exiled Dematsai, a Serpeiente to be precise, and it was she, divine oracle, who imposed upon me a temporary cure, granted my path never crossed yours again. A mark, she called it, that your blood had left on me." Felix opened his eyes and froze, hearing movement above. After it died away he continued.

"However, should our paths cross again I would need blood of the light quickly. Confident was I, that you would not seek me again, that I refused lodgings and soon returned to the Courts. Yet, here you are." He said.

Kimberly leaned back slightly, her thoughts continuing to conflict in her mind, fast as it may have been. That she had effectively condemned him to die when she left gave her a helpless feeling of guilt, but nothing she could directly deal with in light of what had been said. Felix she knew could stick to a bluff with amazing tenacity, and her sudden thought to comply to his demand struck her as oddly chancey. The world would be better off without him, that much she believed to be fact. However that his rather prolonged agony could only be attributed to her left her with a feeling that already she did not expect to be able to hold for the rest of her life. As a result she knew she was trapped. Either she submit and prove him right or destroy him and have the blood of her former caretaker on her hands.

She sighed and rolled up the sleeve on her left arm slightly, submitting to what she knew in the end to be right and true. "Get over here..." she sighed again, "You know I'll never forgive you, but I'd never forgive myself just letting you die either."
