Le sigh, not even random arguments on Facebook can quell my boredom..
Eric > Becca: you shouldnt use sparknotes, its cheating
Becca: i dont use it for cheating, i use it like before a test to review and make sure i understand stuff

Becca: no... if i dont understand a chapter in my book my teacher said i can read a summary on sparknotes if i need to

Becca: she told me at the parent teacher conference that i can use sparknotes or anything tht will help me understand the chapter better but not to use it as a supplement for actually reading which isnt what im doing

it's "trabajo" gosh Becca, you should really ask someone for Spanish help.. Especially if that person learned Spanish as a 1rst language!! -.-
Becca: nooo trabajo is the yo form of trabajar. trabaje is the command form of trabajo. trabaje means "work" and eric was saying go do some work so he could have to say trabaje. he really said go do some i work
Me: nooooo.. trabajo is also the noun ((I asked my dad)) and in english he would be saying "go do some of the work" if you translated it so it's actually TRABAJO not trabaje!!!! HA!!!! xD
Becca: welllll im the one who just learned about command forms and ur supposed to say trabaje
Me: NO!!!! I ASKED MY DAD AND HE IS A COLLEGE SPANISH TEACHER SO THERE!!!!!!
Me: AND HE SAID THAT IT IS TRABAJO!!! SO DOUBLE THERE!!!!!!
Becca: lol well when u translate that into english it doesnt make sense so HA
Me: YES IT DOES BECAUSE IN THIS CASE TRABAJO IS THE NOUN AND IN ENGLISH IT MEANS "THE WORK" OR "WORK" SO HE ACTUALLY SAID "GO DO SOME WORK" SO THERE!!!!

Haha, Savhanna, this argument was with Becca L and her brother and is just random.. See how I wasn't in the beginning of it? Well that's because I was randomly on her FB wall and I found it and decided to write in it because me and Becca use Sparknotes ALL the time for English..
Funny story about Sparknotes! We were in comp. lab 145(?) and we were on Sparknotes and I stumbled across this and got so distracted!! I then told Bella about it during lunch and she of course had to try it and earn points!! Haha, it was hilarious!! These were the ones that she tried! (Oh and she used Gina as a guinie pig so you can only imagine Gina's reaction to this randomness!):
Run your hand up and down friend’s legs (2pts)
Go behind someone and whisper in his/her ear, “You smell…SO good...”(2pts)
Stare creepily at someone and say, “I had a dream about you last night.”(3pts)
Any that’s what he/she said jokes (1pt)
Stroke someone’s face and look deep into their eyes. (2pts)
Touch someone’s hair lightly and whisper, “Wow...” (2pts)
Stare at someone and say, “Your eyes are sooo dreamy!” (2pts)
Stare at someone’s left ear while looking worried. (2pts)
Stare at someone’s crotch area while looking worried. (4pts)
Oh and we tried to get Bella to do this to Waffles or some other random person:
Go up to a stranger and say, “Thank you for last night,” wink, and walk away. (3pts)
But she didn't! Le sigh! Oh well, Bella still got about 30 points!! Haha, Gina's reaction when Bella did all those things to her was like: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!!?!?!?" xD It was soooooo funny! xD
Oh lookie there!! My boredom has been quelled!! xD

Ohmigod Savhanna, have you noticed that it always smells like pot in the hallway where my locker is? Yea, people smoke in the stairway next to my locker! Oh, and who knows why there are little numbers next to our posts?
i dont know about the numbers but it smells more like pot by the gym you know the way we go to homecoming yeah thats the main pot place, yes i know these things because i know people IM A NOT A POT HEAD just some of my friends >.> <.< |
