William_Stryphr O.o wow. There is nothing in Hamlin, I'll give you that point. and in case you haven't noticed, theres way too much drama and other crap that goes around public schools. Add to the fact that all the cirriculum is based on the majority, like grant halupco who will only get anywhere based on bribes, rather than the minority of genuinely intelligent people. Sure, theres a few AP and college courses, but nothing really that good. Theres the generic courses, and then the advanced courses of basically the same thing. The stuff you learn in an advanced class is generally the same, maybe a little more. You just learn it mostly on your own and at a breakneck pace. our language choices suck too, as do most of our gym choices and field trips. Kids like McClosky basically do nothing all year. He audits most of his classes cause he's never there, and hes usually a few units ahead of the students that have been in class everyday and actually get the stuff. he needs to be shipped off to college, not be forced to stay in a public high school that severely limits him. For petes sake, the kid writes programming for PSP software in his free time. see what I mean? Mango Street was right. Public schools pretty much for people who'll get nowhere in life. There may be a few who make it, but the majority just end up doing grunt work, flipping burgers, being assistants and doing low salary work. Show me a class of high school graduates from at the most 20 years ago from California or New York where over 85% of the class went on to college and went past that to do $350 grand or higher paying salary jobs. Do that sucessfully and I will change my point of view.
OH HELL NO YOU DID NOT JUST DISS MY TOWN...OH HELLZ TA DA NO, first there is a library, there's kronies and marks pizza, THERE IS THE BEACH, and tell me how the HELL do you FORGET THE BEACH there are a LOT of programs especially for young adults And a lot more...OH AND THX FOR YOUR ******** MORAL SUPPORT, now please tell me whether or not I could make it in the music business?

And I quote "rather than the minority of genuinely intelligent people." You do realise I didn't just mean like math and science smarts, right? You're very musically intelligent, among other things.
