Revan Star Coleyoly I had a dream that I was made of clay, and artists reached out with their tools to carve my face into a dreamer's expression. There were others painting a blue night's sky on the inside of my skull.
It was very relaxing...
*Ahem* So, this guild is trying to get going again, huh? Is this the fourth time? Something like that I think. I know Saria, the original owner, along with Aenakume tried to breath life back into it when it would fizzle out... and then when Aena quit gaia, and Saria finally had enough, she gave it to Astarael who was going to try bringing it back to life... And then I bought it from Ast, and sat on it.. and am now trying to bring it back to life... and so far I think its going to work... However.... how well this guild dose, really is up to the members. (hinthint)
*Amused* We'll see what I can do. Summer for me is right on the horizon so I might be a smidgen more active. What I see right now is a desperate need for members, meaning that some advertisement might be necessary.
I propose posting a 'preview' RP on the Barton forums that will draw people into it. Once they've shown an interest the RP can be moved to guild forums, theoretically pulling members with it. |

Hm... a interesting idea....
Perhaps we can pull one of the dead rps from the graveyard for inspiration, if not more, for it.....
-thinks for several moments, taping fingers on the wooden surface of a table-
..... Cole, since its your idea, why dont you hook up with some of the others and run with it. I had planned to put together a banner or two this weekend, so you'll have some shiny bits for the Barton thread. |

Mm, I suppose I could do that. I'd prefer not to run the whole project but I don't mind helping out and making it active enough.
The problem with yuri roleplayers is they're very partial to one-on-one crap and the ones who enjoy group roleplays need to be drawn out by something really interesting. It can't be a canon thing like x-men or star trek because then you only get those types of fans.
Whatever it is, this roleplay needs to be as original as possible and interesting enough to grab their attention. |

Well, that gives you one helluva short list of RP types that people might be interested in. Boarding schools, various fandoms, band-RPs, step-sisters, uh...some of the space-type RPs...Yup. Right out. You could always go with a screwed up fairy tale type of thing? Prince Charming as flamingly gay or as a cross-dressing princess. Red Riding Hood and the Wolf as travelling messengers or sommat.
Honestly, what'll make us stand out is not demanding pretty, long and oh-so very empty and poorly written posts. And ffs, describe your bloody character instead of stealing someone's bloody art. -grumble- |

Yeah.... I think demanding the ability to use 9th grade englsih (I'm being kind here) over the ability to make your posts look pretty will be very rare |
