You know, we should probly have a thread to post about yuri-relevant news stories in. Especially positive yuri-relevant news stories.

Like this one: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/aug/03/lesbian-couple-norway-utoya-massacre

I wonder how many people even know about what Hege and Toril did.

I read that the other day... Touching story...

Just goes to show that being gay isn't actually evil. We're still good on the inside.

But good for those ladies. I wish I could say that I would jump into danger to help others like that if.

I could run over and be all like, 'I know first aid!' That's about it.

But sadly, the truth is I can be such a coward sometimes...

Yeah, but is that really a way to live? Hiding in the shadows, always being afraid to stand up and try harder? Which life is more valuable?

Neither. No life is worth more then another.

The bystandard who rushed into danger, and saved lives.... their life is no more valuable then the quiet scientist in a lab some where working on a cure for some illness. The scientist's life is no more valuable then the school teacher who teaches children their ABCs and 123s. The teacher's life is no more valuable then the woman in labor, pushing new life into the world. The woman's life is no more valuable then the desperate father, who is about to rob a 7-11 in hopes of getting enough cash to put food on the table for his family and keep a roof over their head. And the father's life is no more valuable then the life of a new born babe, who's entire future lays before it.

Do I?

-shrugs- The idea that all life is inherently equal in worth and value.... really is that easy. The difficulties however lay in the fact that many people don't share the opinion.

Wheeee! Blind typing because Gaia's programmers don't believe in a mobile version of the site.

So...uhm....gunna be back in the states soon. I guess that means the two RPs I mentioned before leaving may go up.

Also, holyshit. That's a SN I haven't seen in years.
