Dayton 2010 List

I'm very happy James Logan won (again, I know, but still. It was close). I'm totally in love with their show and costumes <3

But because we made it to semifinals, I didn't get to watch Sacred Heart, which makes me mad.

We just got back from our first trip to Dayton today! I'm a senior with Marcus High School and we were very pleased with how we did. We ended up 6th place in SA finals with a score of 92.4. You can see a clip of our show under the Southwest Power Regional section on the WGI website, but that was a while ago, so its nowhere near as good as our finals performance (we were so happy~! We had an amazing last run of our show!). Congrats to all the other performers here! It was a good year for guard!

Besides my opening, I had a great personal run too. Thursday's show was my best though. Yeah, that soloist that threw that six at the end of our opening and dropped it at Finals. Yeah that's me. My director always said if your gonna drop, drop big. What's bigger than a solo toss at WGI Finals.

We did have a great weekend though, I'm still convinced we should have won, but whatev.

So, our instructor has a policy against us posting information about our guard online, so I can't disclose what guard I'm from, but I'll be attending Dayton 08. ;]

It's that time of year again! I'm making the list for Dayton 2009, so post if you're guard is going to Dayton this season!
