[Nikki Zola]

Present Day

N:.......hm? oh I seemed to have fallen asleep..i was remebering things from the past...odd...oh well -gets up- I'm off to find Satoshi, I wanna give him a random hug! hehe!

She opens the door to the hallway, she walks and comes upon Satoshi's room, but beofre she opens the door she hears voices talking...

K: Satoshi, you are aware of your sister's condition right?

S: Yes I'm aware but its not to the point where she needs to be sent away! trust me Kushina, Nikki will get better...

K: Satoshi! Are you blind? She is not well! She needs to be looked after and taken care of! her mental stabilty is running on a thin line! one day she could lose it for sure and destroy the whole village! Do you want that to happen Satoshi?

S: ....no..but Kushina, I have been watching her over these past seven years and i know she is getting better...slowly but surely...i dont want to send her away, she's my sister!

K: But think of the best interest for the village!

S: I have to think whats the best FOR MY SISTER!

K:...Satoshi...think about it, no truly think about it...sending her to a place away from the big city will do her good, for both of you...-sighs- just think about what i said Satoshi...Away is best for her.....and you...

Kushina walks away from Satoshi leaving him silent, pondering his choices...meanwhile just outside the door Nikki heard everything...

N:...they want to send me away?...why? I...I did nothing wrong... -silently walks away to go outside-

Outside in the middle of the field, still pouring rain

N:...away..no i dont..want to go...if I go...i wont be able to see Takumi again... Image of Takumi passes through her mind NO! i wont leave Konoha! it is my home! They cant take me away! -falls to the ground on her knees, crying-

N: no No NO! I wont go! -slams fist agaist the ground- -several sword-like blades arise from the ground-

Succummed to the rain and cold weather Nikki passes out....not a moment later she arises again but different...

N: Heh....heh....heh...-breaks a blade from the ground- heh...destruction...  

[Kakuu Gekido]

G: *puts his shirt back on* *places his hands together, fingertips touching corresponding fingertips with the finger pointed down and the thumbs pointed up, closes his eyes, slightly drops his head, and takes a few deep breaths. He quickly relaxes and returns to a normal stance* ...hm.. I wonder if everyone else is asleep yet... well, nothing else to do.. *quietly opens the door and sneaks about to see if anyone is awake*  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*an overwhelming wave of fear paralyzes Gekido*
G: what...i.is....this....? *his breath gets quick and shallow, and he starts shaking, a deathly chill creeps down his spine, crippling him at every vertebrae* ...what the hell is this... I ... I've never felt so terrible... This...this is.. *his eyes break open, his pupils shrunken, eyes shaking* Nikki! *he shatters his condition with instinct, and within a second, he is holding onto the window sill and standing on the outside of the inn. and there before him, no less than a few yards away, stood the insane grin of a broken human shell, a killing machine with no morals and no regard to human life, the crimson blood dripping from her fist clenched on the broken blade. Her rain drenched hair veiling one of her eyes. There stood Nikki amongst a graveyard of shattered blades.* Ni...Nikki...no... Nikki!!! *with kunai in hand, Gekido lept from the building at Nikki*

I'm in my room and i hear the sound of rain outside. it reminds me of the night my mother was killed...

*flashback*
It was a stormy night and I was still outside playing in the mud when my mother called for me.

Mom: "metsuki come inside before you get sick. its time for bed anyways"

M: "but mommy i don't want to i want to play some more."

Mom: "please sweetie come inside its not really safe outside at night"

M: alright mommy. -walks toward the house- mommy why isn't it safe?

Mom: its nothing you should worry about sweetie just go change and get ready for bed i'm going to go pick up what you left outside."

M: okay mommy -goes to change and runs to the front of the house- Mommy? where are you?  

[Angel~of~song]

-hearing nothing i grabed my mom's cloak and walked outside-

M: Mommy?!

-i called out wildely and couldn't find her. hearing something in the distance i ran towards it. -

M: mommy?

Mom: please no don't hurt me!

stranger: hush! you wounldn't want your daughter to hear would you?
the man had something against her neck. as my mother started to cry she shook her head.

Mom: no please don't hurt my daughter leave her alone i'll do anything.

stranger: well i guess i will let you know why i'm here. i was sent here by your brother. the one who banished you from the family long ago.

-i saw my mothers eyes widen from where i was crouched in the bushes.-

stranger: he has sent me to kill you since you had a brat. he also sends a message and i shall repeat it now. My dear sister, i have let you live long enough since you brought a brat into the world i think i have let you live long enough. i hope you enjoy your time in the underworld."

-i then heard my mother's body hit the ground and the stranger left. i ran from my hiding spot and fell beside my mom-

M: MOMMY! wake up!

-i cried with tears running down my cheeks.-

Mom: metsuki, my sweetie you must leave. find the closest town and stay there. be safe. become a strong girl i know you can. Kushina will take you in when you are old enough and train you. i love you baby.

-she finally took her last breath and her hand fell limp in my tiny one. -

M: MOMMY? MOMMY!

-lying on her chest i lied there and cried until i could cry no more.-

Rain continues to pour down...  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*The rain pours down harder. A kunai flies, spinning quickly, and sticking into the hotel wall.* *Gekido plunges face-first into a groggy mix of blood, mud and water.*
G: *thinking to self* gah, what is this? she's brutal and completely unorthodox... absolutely unpredictable, I can't read anything she does! and the rain doesn't help either! Of all times! why did I have to send Arashi out now?! *Gekido slowly pushes himself up and stands facing Nikki staring into her void-like eyes ... the same grotesque absence of any spirit or human emotion besides bliss... pure bliss... in killing...* *Gekido drug his sleeve across his face to wipe the vile mixture from his eyes. A new stream of fresh blood ran down over his left eyes and dripped off of his chin.* I'm sorry Nikki.... *Gekido tears a scroll from his side and wipes his fingers across his left cheek* Summoning Jutsu! Fury of the Swarm Shortbow! *He summoned three arrows from the front and pulled them back. four quick bursts of red-orange chakra shot through his eyes and swirled to form a red-orange iris.* ...forgive me...* his fingers release*

M: such horrible memories. why now. why do they come back to me now. -stands up and walks to the window and gazes out and sees Nikki and Gekido outside in the rain-
M: i wonder what's going on. i'll go check it out. -races outside to the front door and outside and stops suddenly and gazes at what is in front of her-
M: what the...  

[Nikki Zola]

Inside the house

K: Satoshi have you thought about what i said?

S:.....

K: i see your still stubborn as ever, have you thought that this seperation is the best for you both? i cannnot stress it enough-

S: Kushina...i have agreed to let Nikki and I be seperated....It is for the best of the village and us-

Suddenly abruptly stands up runs towrads the window, his face covered in horror...

S:...no..no Nikki!!! -jumps out of the window-  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*A glimpse of light reflects off of a nearly invisible string connected to the back of the arrow.* G: Shrapnel Harpooning Jutsu! *a plume of smoke erupts around each arrow. Thirty small steel fragments, each connected by a string erupt from the smoke like a small wall. Piercing, ripping, slashing, many tear into Nikki, some sticking, some grazing by. The rest, after reaching their limit on the string spin around and fasten Nikki to a tree behind nearby.* *Gekido slowly lowered his bow, his eyes returning to normal, gazing into Nikki's eyes, he saw... nothing... a blank stare, not inhuman rage, nor human pain... nothing... a transition between the two, crossing back over the bridge, the breaking point. It was over.*

The fight was over...for now....
The disturbance that had occured was settled, with the many questions arousing on what had happened, Satoshi was forced to tell the story of Nikki's childhood and what had happened to cause her to act in this form. What Satoshi did not know was that Nikki had also heard the conversation between him and Kushina that had caused her to go over the edge.
After explaining what happened Satoshi went on to remove his sister from the tree she was currently held captured...

K: Do you really believe that is a wise decision? Perhaps we should sedate her first as to not alarm her...

S: No I have to do this myself...even in this state she knows better than to go against my judgement...it will be fine.. -he cradles nikki in his arms- She is calm...

-Nikki beholds a glazed look in eyes and stares at her brother with a silly grin on her face, she gave small spurts of laughter as if all this was simply a game to her, her reaction caused both fear and worry to her teammates-

K: In light of the situation I believe it is best for us to immediatley return to Konoha as soon as possible..be ready to leave soon...

G & M: Hai Sensei...

The team decides to leave in the middle of the night, not the best and most reasonable time to do so, but in sight of what has happened, getting Nikki to Tsunade was most important, especially to Satoshi...he knew that a certain someone besides Tsunade could control Nikki...and that was Takumi....  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*The morning light slowly creeps through the window of his apartment room. A small figure sitting on the window sill.*
G: ... Arashi? ...*yawns and stretches* *gets up, rubs his eye, walks over to the window and opens it up, squinting from the bright sunlight* ... Good to see you again buddy... *pats Arashi's head, and notices another note attatched to his leg*... ah... so she sent the letter on you... darn... I was looking forward to seeing Yuki. Eh, oh well, i guess she had her reasons.
*Gekido unwraps the letter and lies back down on the bed after closing the window most of the way. He pulls open the note and reads...*

Gekido!!!
We miss ya! Mom has been waiting to hear from you! She's been really worried, and she can't wait till the next time you get to come back home. Neither can I! I've been training alot, who knows, your little sister just might beat you this time! Oh, and I finally got assigned to a team! Although... I uh... forgot their names... I'll let you know when I remember ok?
Miss you and love you big bro! Yeah, miss ya Gekido!

G: *quietly under his breath* ... Sora... *continues reading*

PS, It just isn't the same without you Gekido. You don't know how much I miss you. You've got to come back soon, you've got to promise me that Gekido! Please... for me? ~Sora

*He hadn't realized it, but he had sat up while he was reading. a small tear rolled down his cheek and off onto his leg. Then, the memories hit him, like a wave, they came rushing back...*

*The rain was a torrential downpour, visibility was only slightly further than an arm's length, and the thunder roared ferociously. A foot splashes in a puddle as a figure bursts through the woods*
S: Gekido! Where are you?
*Sora's words were less than worthless, the rain was loud enough by itself to cover them, but with the thunder... She did little more than waste her breath...*  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*Gekido lie there in the rain, not moving, hardly breathing, his eyes wide open. He was stuck in shock and disbelief.*
G: *in his head* This can't be happening... I'm.. I'm going to die here? ... now? ... I can't die yet... No... I can't die yet... scream... why can't I scream?... Scream!!!... nothing... why can't I move?... someone... please... I don't want to die here!... I don't want to die... alone...
*in the distance, he hears noises, human noises, but the rain was drowning it out*
?: ...i..o......r....u.
G: *in his head* ...someone? a person? scream! cmon, scream!!! ...i still can't do anything! Damnit!....wait...louder...its getting louder!
?: G..i.o!..Whe...a..u!
G: *in his head* my name? is that my name? are they looking for me? who... who are they? wait...i know them...
?: Ge.ido! Gekidoooo! Whe...i...th...ell...are you?!
G: *in his head* closer, closer! She's coming closer! It's Sora! oh god! its Sora!! I'm here! i'm over here!
*Sora burst through the last of the trees, landing on the wet rock, her hand aiding her landing. She froze... it was sticky...blood... it was blood... and lots of it... she looked up. Her eyes pupils shot to the size of the end of a pen. Frozen..her breath stopped, her body stopped. everything... even the rain looked like it had stopped for a fraction of a second. There, a body, still, the blood. The blood came from it, like a stream. Sora's stomach churned. She bent over quickly, holding her hand to her mouth, and only barely retaining the contents of her stomach. Her whole body began to tremble.*
S:... dead... he can't be... dead... Gekido!!!
