Raven entered the kitchen and noticed Anna eating breakfast, she muttered a good morning and searched for something she would like to eat instead of the cr@p the nurses made; something they would label as 'unhealthy' , frowning she finally gave up and took a bowl and made herself some cereal.

Adare refused to get up no matter what the nurses threatened her with. The stupid medicine was making her crazy and massively depressed. She couldn't distinguish between her voice and voices of the animals, they all faded together in a constant white noise hum. Even Kiv looked fuzzy around the edges, flickering in and out of her vision when they forced her to take that cr*p. She hated pills and so called modern medicine before being sent to Lyle house. There were more natural and efective ways to heal than putting chemical s**t into one's body, but every since Lyle House, Adare's hatred for it grew. When her stomach roared at her, Adare conceded defeat, the battle to stay in bed, anyway. She wasn't going to swallow anything they gave her. She dressed in black to suit her mood and made her way down into the kitchen.

Nodding what passed as a greeting for her on most mornings to the others, Adare avoided the nurses "homecooking" and went straight for the fresh fruits and nuts. She grabbed a peach and a handful of walnuts. It would be enough. At least for now, but she had to find a way to eat lunch and dinner without the ever circling vultures mashing her meds in their cooking. It was the only way she'd swallow those unnatural chemicals. Otherwise her gag reflex worked just fine even as she tried to swallow in front of the nurses. It was the only thing that had saved her from those horse pills their doctors liked to prescribe.

It Burns So Brightly
Erik stomped downstairs still messing with his hair. He barreled into the kitchen, stopping just inches from the table. He bumped into Anna's chair, which got him a nice glare. In reply he smiled sweetly and then backed up. It was so fun to mess with the goth chick, he thought. Still smiling, Erik turned away and headed for the box of cereal someone had left out. He poured himself a giant bowl and leaned against the counter, surveying the people in the room. Raven and a few of the others were there, but the other one... Eve was missing. Erik felt himself wondering about the other kids at Lyle House. Did they have powers too, or were they just crazy? He figured it was worth finding out since he had nothing better to do anyway.

[Alluring Fate]

Being caged up like this......

Tamashine, Tsuki, and Drake were all sitting at the table and eating. As the nurse handed out there pills to them Drake looked at both of them and nodded. Tama nodded and took his pills without a fuss." Is it just me or are these things getting bigger and bigger?"

Tsuki looked at him after takeing hers" Its just you".

Drake smiled and took his. " Be nice you two". He acted cheery as normal, but then again he had to so the nurses wouldn't know there plan. Speaking of nurses one walked over to him and whispered somethign into his ear. He sighed and nodded" I'll be back guys" Tamashine smiled a little and looked at him" Riku do something again?" He nodded" Mhm". Drake wakled out and back up to his room mummbling somthing about Riku being to old to threaten people.

Tamashine laughed and looked at Erik" Never a dull morning here huh? And good morning Erik" Tsuki stayed quite like normal and ate her breakfest

Adare finished her small breakfast and went into the living room where she'd left her school books. Adare folded in on herself in the corner and watched the others moving about in the other rooms. She needed to find someone allowed into the backyard, or she'd starve after dinner. She'd finally gotten the last effects of the pills she was actually able to swallow weeks ago and now she could communicate again.

Living Here Makes Me Feel

Anna turned to glare at Erik, who had just bumped into her chair. Ugh, he was always doing things like that. It was almost as if he liked pissing her off, which made her even more pissed off. People here seemed to keep to themselves, which suited her just fine. She wanted to be alone. Wanted to sulk and fume at the fact that she was stuck here and she had no idea why. Wanted to break free and run back home to her parents, though they didn't love her anymore. Hadn't they turned her in to this mental home? Turned her out on the streets when being a parent became too much to handle? With one fluid motion Anna stood up and move toward the counter. She dumped her empty plate into the sink and then headed upstairs to go change.

Raven just stared at the two in front of her, they seemed to dislike each other even though none had said a word (well Anna seems to dislike the boy), she shrugged and continued eating her cereal silently yet her mind wandered somer where else; she thought about her brother is he eating well? is he still stuck with that man? she bit her lower lip. Every time she thought about that man her mood would flip she took a deep breath and left the kitchen to search for some nurse that would allow her to go outside to get some 'fresh air'.

It Burns So Brightly

Erik lifted up the bowl of cereal to his lips, drinking up the remaining milk. Over the brim he watched Anna stomp upstairs to brood, or whatever she did. Then he turned away and dropped his bowl in the sink. He wiped his hands on his pants and then turned around. Well, time to get to know the rest of Lyle House, he thought. "Hello Tamashine," he replied back, a good humored smile forming on his lips.

Tamashine smiled a little and nodded at Erik" So what you doing today, wanna shoot some hoops later?"

Tsuki smiled as she saw Riku and Drake walk into the kitchen" Welcome back Drake, morning Riku" She frowned a little as Riku gave ehr a dirty look and sat down


Drake sighed a little" Ignore him Tsuki, he's just mad he had to get up. You know how he is, all bark no bite." Riku glared at him and started eating his breakfest. When the nurse tried getting him to eat his pills, he simpoly pegged her off and crushed them under his foot. Drake sighed" Thats gonna earn you another trip to the counciler..."

And I find it kinda (ғʋииʏ), I find it kinda (ƨα∂)...

Eve sighed shakily and tossed the wet washcloth into the sink, leaving it for one of the nurses to pick up. Somehow, she seemed to be feeling even worse, much to her anger. The itching was getting more intense, and she scratched at her arm furiously. Pain shot from her arm and she winced, glancing down at her reddened skin. Blood was welling up along a few of the welts, making Eve cringe. She hated blood.
Grabbing the washcloth she had discarded, she stood on her tiptoes and opened the cabinet above the sink, managing to grab the small box of bandages perched up there without tipping over backwards.
Bandages in hand, Eve turned around, about to approach the kitchen table when she noticed it had filled up. Blinking her gray eyes slowly, she frowned. Now where am I going to sit?
Biting her lip, she sat down on the ground, pulling out a few bandages. A wave of nausea rolled over her, and her flushed cheeks got redder, her eyes wide. But she needed to get the bleeding to stop. She wiped the blood off her arm with the washcloth and opened up the bandages quickly, placing them over the bleeding welts carefully. Now that the blood was out of sight, it was also out of mind.
Tossing the washcloth back into the sink, she glanced at the table, eyes narrowed. "Goodmorning, cupcakes," she said to no-one in particular, pulling her knees up to her chest and hiding her face.

Living Here Makes Me Feel

Anna took her time to get dressed, not worried about being late for anything. Was it chores or school first today? She couldn't remember. Indecisively, she looked through her closet. Ever since the nurses had started giving her pills her symptoms of Porphryia had gotten worse and worse. Ella threw on long pants and a hoodie to block out as much light as possible. Then she closed the blinds to and lay back in bed. Just because she lived here it didn't mean she had to follow the rules, or be social.

The stupid nurse refused to let her go outside and instead she got the damned pills and shoved them down her throat. Raven growled and cursed under her breath while fighting the urge to break the nurse's nose (and every single bone in her body). She was tired of this place, tired of taking these cursed pills everyday, tired of not having someone to talk to anymore, tired of being locked in the same place for too long; the hour she spends outside is not enough for her...she shook her head and snapped her self out of these thoughts, they made her feel hopeless and pitiful. She didn't need them. she slapped her cheeks lightly with both hands, then re-entered the kitchen to get herself a cup of water.

"Sure," Erik replied. "I don't remember the last time I played, so I might be a little rusty." He grinned,"Though, I bet i could still kick your butt." He smiled then to show he was joking. Finally, he was doing something normal, something fun. Plus, he would be outside... in the sun. Erik got happier just thinking about it. Maybe he could get along with Tamashine and find out what he was here for. He couldn't be the only one here with powers, right?
