The following is in role play form simply because I enjoy writing and there's no harm in being slow when no one's started yet:
Akira took a step and looked around at the others. He leaned on his broadsword, the rings shaking, and announced to the others, "Pace one."
He looked over to a peculiar member of their crew, a green colored squid, with a monkey clinging to its head. He thought the monkey was stuck. "I would be honored for you to take the next step," he told him, curious if he was just stuck to the ground or not.
