Rough copy of the first paragraph of the book I started writing at Basic. Sawfly's Journal is a true story. What I'm asking is, if you read this on the back of a book, would you want to read further? SAWFLY’S JOURNAL 14APR They call us Alpha Company, when they mention us at all. Some of these guys have been here for a long time. Often, someone will try to kill himself with knives homemade from broken safety razors or bootlace nooses. Occasionally they succeed. This is my first morning here. I showed up just last night, and I already fear the dark. At 0100 hours I felt the blankets lift off of me. Everyone here fears the night.

I would read (almost) anything you write...
Yes :3 it makes you curious about what comes next, and to get some kind of explanation for what you just read. 3nodding

Much of the book is complete, but as I was writing on scraps of paper and there are lots of notes jotted all over the place it will take me a while to unscramble it and put it into book format. Plus I have to remember what I meant when I was in a hurry and wrote things like, "deer dream 18." I know this must have been terribly interesting but remembering what it was is proving not fun.
