robert asprin is a writer who takes a normal genre like those space trooper style storys and turns them into comedys

Hey.... I was going to leave this thread alone, or merge it with the Tamora pierce thread for a general Book Room discussion, but that second thoughts a new one.

I put a warning up for deletion because this thread's been near or at the bottom of the page, for months. I'm sure he's an amazing author, but the fact remains that we've just doubled the post count in this thread since I posted the deletion notice!
