So I was wondering if any of my fellow guildies enjoy roleplaying, whether it's play-by-post or tabletop.
I'm curious because I have recently begun lurking Barton and Barton OOC as I did in days long past and have with nearly every click to a thread have wanted to RAGE. And sometimes I mean RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGEEE!!!!!1!1!!!!!1!!111kienwaedjfnh!
Barton used to have at least one or two good RP's a PAGE and now it is only once in a blue moon. Barton OOC used to be a safe-haven from the illiterate and (let's face it) stupid masses of weeaboos and general r-tards.
Anyone else on here understand the pain that is a visit to Barton Town?

I feel your pain completely. I'm an experienced roleplayer, but I rarely have time for any of it during the school year. Now, I only participate in the RPs that my friends and I create, because I know that they are literate, dedicated roleplayers. Barton Town is becoming worse than the GD, I'm afraid, which is saying quite a lot...

As a /*/tard and a GDer I would be offended, but I know that roleplaying and being an anonymous asshat are two completely different things and should be kept that way. I wish there was something to do about all of those mindless scenster/emo/twifags, but directing them on where to go and trying to explain to them that there is no such thing as "advanced-literacy" is like throwing snack packs at a horde of zombies; ineffective and a waste of good pudding. Gaia needs some kind of filter to keep the annoying "roleplayers" separate from people that actually seem to care about the hobby.

I believe that the only way to do that is to start a good, private guild. I'm also a GDer, but I believe that it has gone downhill, in a fashion similar to Cartoon Network's downfall.

Well guys, I can honestly say that I have never tried, nor do I comprehend, a RP. However, if there are intelligible individuals who indulge in the hobby, on a serious level, I would certainly be willing to give it a try.
Come to think of it, there is no reason we couldn't establish a RP sub-forum here....

Both are interesting and have their strong points I, personally, prefer tabletop to PbP simply for the much more social aspect of it, but if you love writing and even acting for tabletop you would enjoy roleplaying.

Well I must say my interest is piqued. I think I shall start researching this phenomenon, thank you ProphitAngell. Now then, in relation to the RP forum, do you think it is a good idea? We created this guild to segregate ourselves from the illiterate and the spammers ect... so if the OCC forum is a sufferer of spam, I would feel obligated to establish a place of respite for our RP loving members.

I see. Well, I have two votes for people to consider at the moment, so itll be some time before I draw guild attention to this.

And I'll look forward to spamming the Main Atrium with you.

Apparently its that bad- I never knew it. I don't ever go there. I feel bad for you though.
