Do your friends and parents know that you are a member of Gaia?
My mother knows- but I would never tell my friends. I'm afraid they will think its weird and really nerdy confused I act oblivious to the internet whenever my friends and I hang out.
So tell me- do you tell people you go on Gaia?

Of course everyone knows, naturally. n.n;
My mom joined gaia temporarily a few years ago, even. Though... she's no longer active.
A few of my friends still do Gaia, and one of them is the girl who showed me this site many years ago, when I was a mere, worthless little 6th grader. <3
My friends already know I like to nerd out on the internet, so, it's nothing new to me. 3nodding

If I had the opportunity everyone would know I was on here and I would be their friend. buuut only my nerdy friends and ex boyfriends (like 3) have accounts. T-T Everyone in my house knows cause I'm always on the computer.

I like how my friends don't know I go on here- gives me some privacy from them to socialize with other people.

What is this "real life" you speak of? I am unfamiliar with such a thing.
Hehe, Jk, I actually only know two guys who are on Gaia that I know outside of Gaia, One who introduced me to the site, who no on longer comes onto the site (yet refuses to allow me to cannibalize his account sad )
The other is one of his friends.

Ah, well...my boyfriend introduced me to the site right after we started dating over three years ago...and we're still together. He's not on as often as I am, but he comes on every once in a while.
Also have another close friend with an account. She's not online much anymore, though.
My parents know I'm on here because I tell them about it. They really don't care. Lol. I am 22 after all.

My sister goes on, and she sometimes fools around when I'm on. She drew my signature image.
One of my close friends comes online on occasion, and I know of just a few other classmates who have active accounts.

Yea people know that I have an account on here. I mean alot of people have Myspace and Facebook. I didn't think that gaia was all that different.

The person who introduced me to it. I think that's all I know for sure, I feel like there could be some other person, but since I have sporadic lapses of going on myself, I wouldn't be certain.

Only 2 of my friends know I go on Gaia. I told my best friend about Gaia and he seemed pretty interested in it, eventually he joined. My other friend, I met him on Gaia and then met him irl a year ago. So yeah...
