Sounds good. Could the Emperor do something like Emperor Palpatine? Harvesting from his own clones to replace dying organs and achieve some kind of immortality.

Like I said I will explain that, but essentially he does not have to. He made his body (and subsequently the bodies off all primarchs and space marines) perfect. They are immune to all disease, heal quickly, can fight on when a normal man would die, but the most interesting part is that they do not age and therefore can not die of old age (though that does not make them invulnerable, they can still be killed)

Are you sure they're 4 meters tall? I seem to remeber them being only about the size of brutes(halo) when playing Fire Warrior.14 feet just seems like a stretch (no pun intended) with being able to call something human.

For my part, I have no problem with them being that tall, you'll just have to keep that in mind during the roleplay. They're almost twice as tall as wookies. I'm pretty sure the Primarchs couldn't get into Mos Eisley Cantina and I know they wouldn't be able to stand up straight in there. They would face similar problems everywhere they went. And not just in height, weight and girth would also be problems. Any of them could easily weigh 700 pounds without any equipment, probably close to a ton fully stocked. Each one would be about a small Hutt so far as the floor is concerned. And corridors for two and three men abreast could only fit them in single file. They're about as big as a Chevy Suburban on end.
This is unrelated, but something that has come to my attention. Currently, the Mirai and the Sith have several Temporal Technologies listed in Background Information. I think it may be a good idea for all Temporal Sciences and their application to be banned in the new Guild. My feeling is that it is too much like having god characters and would degrade to arguments about who has the more godly god, metaphorically speaking. But I want to know what everybody else thinks and will leave it to you guys to decide.

DarthLoki 13 yes, the primarchs themselves (in armor) stood taller then a terminatorAs to the weight and everything, I understand that. That cleared it up for me. I was under the impression that all of your space marines were that tall. OK, it makes sense that the 'gods' would make themselves look like gods. Regarding Temporal physics: I agree that we're on a slippery slope with using it, however, I think we'll be fine as long as there is no travel inside of the Time Vortex, and all weapons are linear in projection. However, if the other D's, and Kuro think otherwise, I will ban them entirely. Thinking about it, I think my only time tech right now is the Maw Cannon. If that's true, then I can just alter the cause to be synthetically accelerating the decay rate of elements through some mineral projected in the blast, and keep the same effect.

I can't be sure, but I believe you've made some references to a few other temporal technologies without explaining them yet. Regardless, the Maw Cannon does not have to be temporal and I did not think it so. Subatomic radiation could do exactly what you describe, at the right intensity. It would be fitting for the Sith to break the Accords with a radiological weapon and it would be very hard to prove they had without witnesses or careful examination of the Maw Cannon since the radiation would be nonpersistent and could be calibrated so it doesn't induce radioactivity by emitting at a frequency that breaks atomic bonds but not nuclear bonds. It would also be perfectly fitting for the Sith to claim it was temporal in nature merely for the psychological effect.
As to the Imperium, I'd like to point out that the Space Marines are all 3 meters tall and the average height of a wookie is only 2.1 meters. You Space Marines are still 9'10" and would face all the size problems of the Primarchs to only a slightly lesser degree. I could not find an explanation for this large size and I don't think the armor could add that much, maybe a half meter, but not 1.3 meters (average height of a human is 1.7 meters).

I think that the subatomic ray would work the best, and also be far less powerdraining than a temporal anomaly. So, if everyone is fine with it, I'll OK a ban on Temporal physics exempting "in-game retcon explanations"
As for the Imperium, I'm under the impression that the Marine himself is about 2.6 meters (8ft6in), which would afford him a nine foot clearance in armor. They are, after all, no longer baseline humans. And, considering the tallest genetically altered baseline humans (The Spartan II's) were roughly seven feet, I feel this is kosher.
I'm drawling this conclusion from remembering height ratios from playing Fire Warrior, which strikes me as having much more accurate scaling than either the actual game, or Dawn of War.

I'm not contending anything in the Imperium, just making observations. And planning on 7 foot ceilings in Mirai ships.
For Temporal Sciences we've got yours and my votes against. Does anybody else like to express an opinion?

Time travel causes too many plotholes anyways. I'm fine without it. Also, I apologize for my laziness this summer. I've been trying to get another RP off the ground on another site, as well as get ready for college.

I would ask that we keep the old Mech. and Character Info. threads and just lock them. It's not as if we need the space and I'd like to have the reference material.

Kuro Hishikami Woohoo, Crew now! *Ahem* Anyways, what's gonna set the story off? If it is alright with the others I think it should start with the Imperium of Man making their first move and setting in motion another epic war.
