Ark turned to look at the ghost that was trying it's hardest to get her attention. "Melinda? What is it?" The ghost, Melinda, blinked and flickered in a series that told Ark everything that had happened so far. "Ah, well, if that's the case, then I suppose I should seek the Queen and perhaps check on the poor half-Angel."
With that, the ghost faded out of appearance and Ark made her way to the Queen's study.

(Hey I'm kinda new to this level of RPing but I hope I will fit in well) Gaia Name: Markirus Charater Name: Alexander von Halfenstien Age: 25 Race: Human/Shadow Position: Traveling magician About: Not many people know about his past, some say he was raised in a church, others a dark temple. He has a quite cocky attitude to people and always seems to have some sort of hidden goal. Although what he says may seem polite he always seems to add a cheekie tone to his words. Picture: (I hope it's okay for me to use one from an anime, he's the closest I could find to my ideal character.)

{There isn't anyone in here but me, but I'd be glad to roleplay here with you.
Also, this isn't as high a level of roleplaying as the guild advertises and you're level of literacy will have you fitting in quite nicely. Also, I have no problems with anime pictures. Most people seem to think that simply having a picture makes your profile wonderful.}

The stranger looks around trying to find the perfect spot to entice an audience and sets his eyes on the local pub, he smiles.
"That will do nicely"
As he enters, he looks for the nearest table and sit down. He then clears his throat.
"Who here would like to see something amazing?"
He says as he pulls out a pack of cards from a silken peice of cloth.

Ark finished her checking up on the castle and decided to go on a servant run to make sure that castle was completely stocked in all departments. She sent a flurry of servants in multiple directions through the castle and down into the town. Many of them were sent for the simple purpose of scouting the status of the town. One in particular was sent to check all the taverns and crap-holes.

The man looks around to see that he has attracted quite a large audience. Mostly the drunk or the homeless, his prime targets.
"Now, we can begin" He said with a slight grin on his face.
He lauched the cards into the air, but instead of them falling to the ground in a horrible mess they hoverd in the air. The crowed gasped with either fear, or excitment.
"Thats not even the trick ladies and gents"
And with a brisk hand movements the cards stared to form patterns in the air, starting off simple at first. Hearts, daimonds.etc.
As the show carried on, the crowed did not notice the mans shadow probing there pockets for any thing of value without a hint of it's prey noticing it's violation.

Ark's man watched in awe as the cards danced in the air. He couldn't wait to get back to the palace to tell everyone in the kitchens what he'd seen. After a moment's thought, he wondered if the man wanted to be famous. He decided to wait until the show was over and ask the man.

"Write, I thinks it's time to wrap this up ladies and gents"
And with a clap of his hands the cards all formed together in a ball and then exploded out with confetti falling everywhere.
"Thank you for watching my show. I hope to see you all again soon"
After that, the cards formed a neat pile on the table and he place them back in the cloth, happy with his performance, he walks out the back entrance and looks at his pokets full of his victims goods.
"A very good show indeed"

Ark's man lost sight of the odd magician during the explosion and sat back on heels, looking lost for a moment. As all the other patrons began to gather themsevles, he got up and left. This caused him to miss the general complaints of the people missing their valuables. Feeling jaunty, he returned to the palace to tell all his friends of the show he'd seen.
Meanwhile, Ark was listening to the usual complaints and heard nothing of this new "threat" to the place she thought of as her city. The kitchen staff were the first to report to her and got back to their bread and lunch preparations as quickly as they could. She then turned to the guards and spent the rest of the day touring the grounds with them.

Later that day. The magician, known by few, was sitting on the city walls gazing at the blazing, all powerful sun set over the land. Wishing it a good night, he stood up and looked at the once busy market place, now all packed up and put away as families went back to there homes to feast and dream.
"Well. I better find a place to sleep for the night."
As he said that, he leaped off the walls onto an adjacent house and scanned the area for a place to stay, his eyes set on the palace at the center of the city.
"I'm sure they won't mind one more residant within their walls"
He smiled and jumped from house to house with dazziling speed until he reached the gates. He hid behind the wall of the house closest to it and checked what he had to get pasted. as he did, he noticed the gate open and from it came a woman dressed in what looks like a maids robes with short grey hair followed by a retinue of well armed guards.
"Hmm. this could be harder than I thought"
He slipped from shadow to shadow, constantly keeping watch at the woman. Pleading to the Gods that he is not spotted

{I don't remember what I'm wearing, but they would be more servant-like because I'm only the keeper of the household and finances and such. And mid-length gray hair is all you really need.}
Ark ushered the guards along on the tour, "I know gentleman! And your captain has submitted all these suggestions to me in paper. We'll get to, I promise, but for now, I have other things back at the palace that need to be dealt with. Let's hurry this along." They all grumbled, but began escorting her back to the palace.
There was a sudden cry for help and half of the guards dashed off immediately to deal with whatever problem had cropped up. Ark made to follow them before realizing that she would probably just get in the way. Instead she gave the signal to the guards still with her that they would keep moving. The soldiers that had left would know where they'd gone.
