Aegle looked at Juri with a little frown. "I've never really been to Nightmare Valley. Is it as bad as the rumors?" She asked with a nod, "Some place sunny would be wonderful for our home. Perhaps near some fruit bearing trees."

"I think it is the same as any other place. There isn't really anything bad about it. If you think of people, there are bad ponies everywhere, not just in one valley."

Aegle thought about what he said for a moment before nodding. "That's very true. Everyone tends to make it seem like only bad people are in Nightmare Valley.... even it's name makes it seem like bad things happen there."

"And I am sure that they do, but I do not think that bad things only happen in Nightmare Valley. I've seen violent and evil beings live in Dream Valley and the Reef also."

Aegle nodded swishing her tail. "I'm quite sure you're right. I've only had rumors to go on so I didn't really know." She paused looking at him curious, "You've been to the Reef? Is it nice there?"

"It is beautiful. And if you go scuba diving, you can see all the different colors of the coral. We should go sometime."

"Oh yes we should. I would love to see the coral..... Although I hate the idea of getting my wings wet." She sighed, "I'll have to deal with it though. So..... how much further?"

She looked at the river and then to Juri. "I think we should. It would be good exercise after all." She grinned at him and began to walk faster.

He grinned, "See you on the other side!" Juri ran and dove into the water, shaking his mane out of his face when he surfaced.

"Didn't you learn last time?" Aegle called back as she shot off. Once she picked up enough speed and drew closer to the river, she spread her wings and took off. She flew towards the other side and spotted Juri as he surfaced from the water. Boy did he look good wet.

Juri caught her shadow overhead and began swimming to keep pace with her. He made a mental note, as he climbed up the other bank, to tell her sometime how gracefully she looked in the sky.

Aegle swooped down and landed moments after Juri climbed up the back. "Darn. Looks like you beat me this time." She grinned, "So we're at a tie." She went over to him and gave him a kiss. Before moving away from him she whispered, "Remind me to never complain about swimming again, if it means I get to see you wet." She then pranced away from him and flicked her tail at him.

Juri grinned widely and trailed after her. "I look good doing other things too. Would you like to see?"
