Wandering near the main lake in the Valley, Aegle glanced around. She was looking for someone; someone she hadn't seen in a long long time. Sighing and resettling her wings she walked towards the water. She'd get a drink and resume her search. Taking a drink of the fresh cool water she looked across the lake. The mountains were an area she hadn't search yet. But would he be there? She didn't think so. Lifting her head she looked towards the hills nearby. Perhaps over there? Having no clue she just made the hills her goal for now.

Juri looked up, smelling something familiar in the air. A sweet, perfumed smell that took him back to his childhood..."Aegle..." He spotted her heading toward the hills and pulled out a crystal, using it to transport next to her. "Well hey there Miss Aegle. You are looking quite lovely this day." He grinned, "In fact, I think you've gotten prettier since I last saw you."

Aegle nearly jumped out of her skin when Juri spoke next to her. "Oh my goodness! Juri! Don't scare me like that!" She said before it dawned on her that it was Juri next to her, "Juri! It's so good to see you! And look at you. So handsome!" She did blush a little at his complement. "Thank you... Jeez I haven't seen you in so long! How have you been?" She asked fighting the impulse to go nuzzle him. It seemed like only yesterday when they were playing house with her cousins.

Juri grinned and bowed, "Thank you. And I'm much better now than I was before. Cursed growth stint. And how have you been, my wife?"

"That's good." Aegle said smiling, "And surely it must have been nice to be a child for a bit longer? No responsibilities that you probably have now.... or all of the ladies flocking to you." Hearing him call her his wife made her blush deeply. "W-w-wife?! I thought that was just child's play? Y-you took that seriously?!" She said quite started. She certainly wouldn't mind being his wife, she always had a thing for him, but surely this was too good to be true!?

"Childhood is nice, but no one wants to be one forever." Juri laughed, "They can flock all they like, but I only have eyes for one lady." He grinned confidently at her, "And child's play or not, I will have her for my mate."

Aegle nodded and chuckled. "Yes I suppose you are right in that sense. No one wants to be a child forever." She said. Hearing his confident words made her blush stay and her wings shift. She remained silent, warring with herself over his statement. Oh how she would love to swoon over such words but another side of her chided her for believing such a thing is possible. Quickly looking down she hid her expression, torn between love, happiness and disbelief. "How can you be so sure?" She asked quietly, "So sure that you will get her? So sure that it will work out?"

"I'll get her. Not only am I handsome, but I can make her blush. A girl who blushes has some sort of attachment to the guy who's making her blush. And, I intend to court her like the lady she is."

Aegle looked up at Juri shyly. Never before would she have been shy around anyone, but around Juri when he's speaking like this she couldn't help it. "I guess you are right." She said with a chuckle, "You are handsome..... and you are most certainly making me blush. I should also say that I have an attachment to you but I feel like that's revealing too much. So pretend you never heard such a thing..... for now." Hearing him say he would court her made her raise her up higher and give him a smirk. "And just how are you going to court her?"

"Well, first...I think I would offer her my arm," Juri bent his and offered it to her, "And then ask her if she would be so kind as to walk with me. After all, we haven't seen each other in quite some time. Catching up would make for a good time."

Aegle couldn't help herself anymore and had to giggle. "I think that's a very good first step." She said taking his arm, "A walk and catching up sounds very nice. So whatever have you been up to in the time we've been apart?"

"Tormenting my brother. He's been stuck as I have. And I think I made a few impressions on some people in my grandfather's labyrinth. They'll never smell the same again." Juri shook his mane back out of his face, "How about you?"

"Tormenting your brother?" Aegle said shaking her head, "I wouldn't think that would be very fun. I know Raiden enjoys to torment me but I just don't see the fun in it." She tilted her head when he mentioned his grandfather and his labyrinth. "Oh? I don't know anything about your family...... Who is your grandfather? And do tell me about this labyrinth." She said pausing, "Me? Not a whole lot has gone on with me. I mostly played... and partied with Iris and Lady Flash growing up. I also helped out with the new members of the herd."

"It wasn't your typical tormenting. It was more like spending too much time together. And my grandfather is the goblin king. His castle is in the middle of this huge labyrinth with all these perils and doors and fun things to do. I will have to take you sometime. It's very lovely, and a nice place if you're with the right person. Tell me about some of these parties. It sounds interesting."

Aegle listened raptly as Juri spoke. "The goblin king?! He sounds very interesting." She said smiling and nodding, "The labyrinth sounds like an interesting place. I'd love to go with you there sometime." She fell silent as he asked about the parties. A light blush had shown up again. "Well.... it was mostly Lady Flash's idea..... Do you remember her and her sister? I believe you've met them before." She said finally, "Well anyways. Lady Flash once threw this huge party. Most of the members of my herd were there as well as ones I didn't ever know. There was music and food, great food, and of course dancing. Ah it was great. I danced with Requiem.... He's a very good dancer. Quite surprising actually." She sighed with a smile. She had had a great time at that party.
