These two Force ghosts have some ability to advise Rakanis in battle as well as the ability to affect any living thing struck by the swords by emitting psychic waves that can cause various effects on the mind of the struck victim. For instance, each strike landed can drastically weaken the resolve of Rakanis' opponent or even make the wounded victim temporarily unaware of his wounds, perhaps until it is too late to tend to them. The quests of some Chroniclers to gain knowledge and record their race's history has compelled them to go to the battlefronts of the Randir armies and fleets and sometimes even partake in the historical mayhem themselves. For this reason, when the Randir came to the ((SW)) galaxy and sent out explorer ships, many Chroniclers boarded the ships (usually in small teams or individually) at their departures or transported themselves to the ships via the webway later. Haeraad boarded the Saim-Hann at its departure by himself and traveled on it recording the reports of the rangers deployed from and picked up by the ship and mapping the space tread by the ship. Master**: Apprentice: Weapon(s)*: wraithbone kunai stored in his sleeves and each attached to a long line of energized monofilament wraithbone, shuriken pistol, psychic Force powers, ghostclaw Ghostclaw:  Ship: Specialty*: Using the Force to confuse, demoralize, trick, or influence emotions of others; close combat, mimicry. Strengths*: Is very hard to hit in combat thanks to his dathedi and his grav-belt, which gives him amazing speed and acrobatic skill. Weaknesses*: Easily hurt if actually hit, due to his lack of armor. Other: Haeraad's kunai can be thrown and then retrieved (thanks to the monofilaments that they are attached to) or swung in an arc to use the monofilaments to slice straight through flesh and many other materials. The Force abilities used by Haeraad are limited to psychic abilities including basic telepathy. However, these also include such abilities as Mind Trick, that allow him to mislead or demoralize troops.

He was also a commando, he was in situations were it should have taken an army and he was able to complete the mission. Originally only assigned to Cadia he became Commanding General of all CDC forces when he lead the first rebellion.
