I just don't want to feed... especially not if someone she didn't know - someone who'd all but threatened her - could know all that they did...their every intimate act and thought...she closed her eyes tightly against the thought.

He escorted her to lessons in silence, stopping his mind from reaching for hers each time it sought to. "Have a good lesson. I shall retrun for you two hours before dawn." He disappeared into mist, streaming off to find prey and perhaps something to ease his mind.
