Serenata rested her head over his heart and closed her eyes, slowing her breathign and heart rate until she slept.

Nicholai closed the hole and stopped his own heart and lungs to rest until the sun set.

Serenata woke before Nicholai and quietly slipped from the resting place. She still didn't know what to think...not that pacing the rooms of their chambers was going to help...but it was something...
