Darz You want a tour of my vocabulary, Kai? From what you have shown, thus far, in this guild, I have concluded that you enjoy portraying yourself as an annoyance, especially liking of targetting the few disjointed memories or feelings of memebers while, at the very least, within the OoC. Your Role-Playing skills are, most assuredly, in the "good" category, or slightly better, but your expressive tastes make people wonder at the "good-naturedness" of your posts. I wonder, seriously, if you have any real interest in expressing an honest, unannoying opinion within an Out of Character conversation. I've put up with a lot, from you, often attempting, and surprisingly suceeding sometimes, at turning the tables on you to make you feel uncomfortable with the situation that is going on around him. I've found that I'd much rather RP with the fake you than have a conversation with the real (or chat-portrayed) you. It's just much more pleasant. I'm going to say this once, and only once, so I hope you read this carefully, all of you. stare I'm stating it since neither of the mods have picked up on it yet. This is a prime example of an uncalled for attack on another person, and is bannable material! scream I highly recomend that no one else posts anything else like this EVER again! stressed I wouldn't honestly believe anyone here would write something like this, but after this display...I'm not sure what to think anymore. sad And to be frank, I am thoroughly ashamed that a friend of mine would write something so horrible. crying I'm so sorry, Kai. sad While I had nothing to do with this, I feel the need to apologise, because it's just such an awful thing for someone to say. sweatdrop

Though I'm unsure I can say it was unprovoked, I am going to, sincerely, appologize. I felt I had to tell Kai my, honest, opinion of many, if not all, the things he's said in OoC.
Kai. This does mean I'm appologizing to you.

Tarma this is not a repremend but a response, I was going to extract myself carefully from this situation because I did not want it to become a large manner, but the truth is that what Darz said, while it could be called offensive, is opinion. The tone may be considered an attack, but the content is not. Darz has an opinion and since Gaia is a free forum, Darz can express his opinion. And I can see where his view of me comes from because if you seriously question the good-natured intent of the posts I make sometimes, it can in all honesty appear that I am not being mature nor considerate. Darz viewed my posts in light of this while others, namely Nim whom I always kid around with and Kudos who reluctantly gets pulled in from time to time, do not. You know me from our chats together and you already have your conception of my online persona. I try to convey as much of my personality in Gaia as possible, but as with any internet source it is open to inturrpretation. You can't fault Darz for his opinion, only if he expressed it in an inappropriate manner. It was sudden, but not totally inappropriate. Of course that is up to the mods really. Like I said, I did not want this to be a big thing and already sent JC a PM saying I might not post as commonly as I had been accostumed to for the next while, just in case I decided it was needed. But I didnt realise it might cause strong enough feelings to require a response (which is a gross underestimate of the strength of your loyalty.) I dont want this to result in consequences that are mis-proportionate. The bottom line is that Darz did have a right to say those things and chose to say them in a matter that demonstrated the strength of his feeling. I fully understand this and must analyse my actions to determine if and when my actions caused these feelings. I must also say that I was reasonably glad to see Darz's distinction between my real personality and my online OOC personality which shows that it is not an attack on me personally but a strong expression of Darz's conception of my actions in this forum.
Its late, but hope I conveyed accurately what I was trying to say. I may re-read this and edit it but I do want to express myself clearly that Darz may not be in the right, but was not in the wrong for the content of his post.

This was all pointed out to me by multiple people, so I'm going to make the official "mod" position clear. It is my opinion that Darz's choice of words was somewhat strong. It is also my opinion that Tarma reacted more strongly than was necessary. Since it seems to be handling itself, I'm going to let the matter stand as is. My advice is for everyone to loosen up a bit. Hugs for all the nice people (like Selene and Nanako and Kudos), and smiles for everyone, and all that fun stuff eek *zones out and lets her eyes wander off into a range of pretty rainbow colors* Meow stare

As I told Kishou on MSN: Quote: It's just that Kai's my friend, and I get very over-protective of my friends. That's not an excuse, or a justification, but it is a reason. I have apologised to everyone involved, because she's right, I hard core over reacted. sweatdrop So, once again, sorry guys! sad

If you really wanted to see an overreactions, you should have seen when Darz took on the entire seventh grade, as a sixth grader. They provoked it. He ended it ^_^
