Maybe something like Judge Scroll: Arrow Guard? Another idea could be that a character can take a very limited number of cross-job abilities (like one or two max), but they have to have an explanation in the character's background as to why they would possess this/these skill(s); i.e. a justification for giving Xaver a Fencer's Level 8 Reflex ability or a Fighter's Level 8 Third Eye ability could be attributed to this thirty years of Monk training.
When you say "will also cover advantages as well for bonuses", am I correct in my thinking that basically it would be an Advantage without having to take the equivalent amount in Disadvantage(s)?

Gonna nay the cross-job ability for now. While the written word has it's own value, it is on a different scale then say an RPG's own scale. Basically I wouldn't take words as a payment for potentially game-breaking bonuses in a game. Yes to the advantages without penalties question.

On another note, I introduced FFRPG to a friend and mentioned this guild to him, and he expressed a great amount of interest. Do non-Crew have invite power?

Not many diced games out here on gaia to draw people from... Problem is finding enough of a bunch at the right time to get a game together. :/

Why not look for people that like Final Fantasy and send them a invite with a brief outline of the guild itself? O.o It couldn't hurt to try that one.
Use the search engine for people's interests and such, and try Final antasy, d20, dice game, DnD then send them a invite that has like:
-A RPG that includes Final Fantasy elements, such as Limit Breaks, and a system close to that of DnD.
-Includes various races such as Elvaan, Ronso, Bangaas, and more!
-etc
-etc
-The game hasn't begun yet, but grab your friends and learn what it is to be a Final Fantasy character of your own design!
O.o It might work. xD

Some things may be changed up, redone and redistributed. I may have a nice little storyteller all lined up. Might crush and redistribute the subforums to make several different games for several different stories and worlds.
