"I don't know?" He said and winked. "It's none of my business why you decided to board the ship. I'm just happy you're here to share this experience with me." He grinned and closed the open cupboard. "But if you're parents are so strict, why did they allow you to come? Isn’t it kind of scary for them?" It was a question that was eating at him mind and he had to know the answer.

Israel shrugged.

"My father did not approve at all, but he knew it was important to my mother that I live my life the way I choose. And... I am glad I am here with you as well... to share this experiance, of course."

"What do you're parents do?" he asked, wondering what kind of life they led. It would have to be very strange if their lives made it exemptible for their son to become a priest. "Does your mother work?" He had heard the old stereotype of mothers not working before, but never actually met a woman who willingly did not have a job. It was odd that she should want to be totally dependant on her husband, lover or father.

Israel looked away from James, trying to seem interesting in one of his knick-knacks.

"My mother used to own the bakery in town. We lived on the top floor while she baked for everyone. Now me and my father live at the church, he is one of the book keepers at the library."

"Is that like a librarian?" He asked not quite sure of what that job meant. "Or is he more like a record keeper?" It could go ether way, and James had no clue. "My older brother Hew wants to be a librarian." He commented, his brother was one year older than him and very bookish, yet in a not snobbish kind of cute humorous sort of way. It was hard to be bookish when you only own one box of books, but he was a bog supporter of libraries.

Israel turned back to look at James, shaking away the sorrow from his eyes when he spoke of his mother and gave a small smile.

"I am not sure actually what he does, I do not spend much time with him. I am usually out working. You have a brother? What is it like to live with him?"

"Actually I have three brothers and two sisters." He corrected. "And All four of us boys share a room so it can get kind of roughty." He laughed. "But we are real close, so it's not like we could ever hate each other. He walked back over to the bed and plopped down. "I guess you could say it's like living with someone always watching you and correcting your mistakes, it can get annoying but it pays off in the long run." He left out the part where they get into fist fights and lock each other out in the snow with less than no pants.

Israel smiled brightly. "Your family sounds very happy. I would be thankful to have one that sounds as warm as yours."

He looked over to the clock next to James' bed. It was almost time for the next lecture, but Israel had no want to go. He wanted to stay with James and listen to him speak of his life in Canada. Israel loved to listen to others.

((are we the only ones here?))

Brittany smiled. "Sure. Is it alright if Amy comes too? We have the same class together." Brittany picked up her bag and slung to over her shoulder. She put it in a comfortable position, so it wouldn't make the shoulder sore when she woke up the next day.

{at the moment? I think so}
James nodded, "Ya, it's fun." he said and smiled. He glanced at the clock and stood up, grabbing his bag, "Well, we had better get going, Anytime you need anything Please stop by, You fun man." He walked towards the door and reached for the metallic handle.

Israel followed James to the door, not wanting to be left alone inside as he grabbed his notebook set on the kitchen counter.

"Really? Why uh... thank you. Maybe we will meet later on today."

James closed the door after them and walked quickly down the hall towards his class, after that he had lunch, and after that Spanish. He got into the class room without much trouble, it was not a very popular class so it was small than most. He took a seat in the front row and got out his note book, starting to copy down the notes on the board.

Israel watched James walk away before realizing that he too had to be at a lecture, advanced physics. He arrived just in time and took a seat in the front, taking notes carefully. He thought about the rest of his day and whether he would see James again. He had lunch after the lecture and then another lecture before his day was free until the night time where he would have an astrology lecture. It was then that he remembered he asked Alex, the Brazilian boy, to have lunch with him.

The lecture was over very quickly, James loved history, and knew most of the curriculum already. He sighed when the teacher released them, and he packed his bag, before walking out of the small room and towards the restaurant area of the ship. He was not sure what he wanted for lunch, but something with potatoes sounded good. He got himself a bowl of potato and corn chowder, as well as a roll, and a virgin strawberry daiquiri. it looked very good, so he went to take a seat at an empty table near a fish tank. The boy's hand pulled out his sketch book and set it next to his tray, and he started to sketch as he eat.

"I dont mind at all." Reshime said to Brittany. "Here let me take that for you." He said while taking her bag for her. He put the bag on his sholder before she could protest.
