Elure pushed the door open, glad to get into the warmth, and proceeded to the bar with Shi. He nodded at the customers and Tank, before pulling up a chair for Shi and one for himself, at the opposite end of the bar to the door. He decided not to take of his cloak, as it would dry quicker on him rather than scrunched up on a chair.
"Ah Tank," he began, to attract the attention of the bartender. "A drink of Southern Comfort for me please, and... whatever Shi would like. It's on me," he added, placing a note on the bar.

" Sure thing." Tank replied and quickly fixed the drink and got out some wine blood for Shi, figuring that was what she would want. After serving up the drinks, he ran in back to start some new fries. Shi always had a craving for them.

Elure and Shi began an animated conversation about this and that, and soon became fairly absorbed in it. So absorbed, that they didn't notice the door open and an elf walk in. She was soaked to the bone, and had a scowl on her face.
Sitting down by the fireplace, Rien glanced at Tank and nodded. She was back, having not found her brother; was more alone than Christophe and Nolah, who she had just seen run into the Tavern; and she felt cold, hungry and wet. To top all of that, she felt a pounding in her head as a headache started.
Grumbling, she just closed her eyes and sat in the shadows- only visible to those who had seen her enter.

Amadeus stood outside the Taver, his hands in his pockets, his wings folded rather gracefully behind him. The long black coat he wore flapped around his ankles in the approaching winds. He look no heed to the rain that pounded down around him, even though he was soaked to the core. The storm seemed to intensify, thunder going from a rolling rumble to loud, violent booms following sky splitting flashes of lightning.
"So, this is where you've been hiding?"
He couldn't understand why someone would run away and end up in a place like this. And what kind of ex-assassin opens up a tavern and acts like a public servent to drunks? Amadeus shook his head. And who was "Tank"? Was that what he was calling himself now? Was that his way of hiding from, avoiding this moment?
"Did you really think I wouldn't find you?"
The rain came down harder, almost a reply, almost as if Dark Haven itself wanted to purge this evil man from its boundries. Amadeus wasn't about to leave that easily. He'd come here with a purpose in mind, and that wasn't going to be compromised just because Mother Nature was pissed off. He'd been through much worse before, and nothing would intimdate him today. Not when he'd waited so long for thos moment to come.
"You don't leave me high and dry and expect to get away with it."
He grinned, his fangs glinting in an overly dramatic fashion. He ran his tongue over them, pleased by what he knew was going to happen next. He walked through the door, pushing it do hard that he crashed rather loudly into the wall behind him. He stepped into the Tavern, his wet clothes dripping a making little pools on the floor his feet. His boots sounded off against the wooden floor of the bar, and everyone looked up.
"What a glorious day this is! Theonidas, it's been ages!"
He threw his arms open as if to embrace the bewildered battender, but instead, lashed forward with the speed of a snake. Suddenly, he was over the bar, holding Tank by the front of the shirt, their noses almost touching.
"It's impossible to run that far, dear Theonidas. I'll find you wherever you go."

Tank, who had the man enter behind him, turned, ready to greet the newcomer. He half expected it to be Nolah or Christophe. He hadn't even had enough time to speak before the man was ontop of him. Tank had barely even seen him move. Now he was somewhat trapped, pushed up again the back wall of liquor bottles with a crazy person holding him down. He was, needless to say, startled by this new development, therefore he couldn't say much other than a sputtered, "Wha?"
He let his eyes focus for a moment. He came face to face with...himself! It was like looking the mirror. Tank's brow furrowed, confusion taking over his ability to think or act. What in God's good name was this all about? Who was this person? Why was he calling him "Theonidas"?
He head was beginning to hurt. A sudden flash and he saw himself with this intruder, sometime long ago, in a place he only vaguely remembered. They were drinking, sitting around a table playing a card game. They'd laughed at someone's jokes, they'd played billards, they had more drinks.
He knew this man.
But at the same time, he didn't. "Who are you?"
It was all he could think of to say. After all, what do you do when this happens to you? They don't teach classes on it. Tank was trained to act when he found himself in danger, and he normally did, but this time was different. This time, his body had not clue what should be done. Therefore, he was helpless. Completly at a loss.

Rien watched the man with the dark coat grab Tank quicker than she could call out and stop him. But he spoke in a low, quiet voice before doing anything else, which gave her time to leap up.
The elf put a foot on the table in front of her, pushing off it to give her leaverage and sprung at the man. Her left hand grasped feathers of a strong wing, and her right hand whacked at one of the man's arms, which was holding Tank by his shirt. The angel's wings flew up, knocking Rien's left arm away, but she managed to push herself slightly between the two men.
It was then that she found herself facing an almost identical angel to the one behind her. She gasped and paused for a second, letting her guard down slightly. She gazed into the handsome angel's green eyes, her own darting to the scar on his face and back to his eyes. She smiled briefly, perhaps a moment too long.

Elure's head snapped up as he saw a dark haired female literally flying across the tavern, immediately after Tank had been half-dragged across the bar.
As if that wasn't shocking enough, the face he saw momentarily, before she threw herself between the two angels, was his younger sister's. He stood in shock, wanting to put himself between the attacker and Rien too. Yet he didn't have the time or the agility to vault over the bar, dart between them and protect her...
