Kaleb blushed a bit more as he was tugged around. "I-I'm not sure, was there anywhere you wanted to go?" He glanced away rather modestly. "I can't guarantee I'll be able to solve them."

Kaleb resisted sticking his tongue out in reply, and instead he chewed on his lip a bit as he thought about it. "We could go back to the park and sit on the grass, it's nice there when the sun is out. And it might take all afternoon to solve those puzzles, so the grass is probably more comfortable than that bench."

"Okies, that works." he kept a grip on Kaleb's hand as he headed back towad the park. Sitting there woudl be fine cause if he got bored he could just get up and run around.

Kaleb smiled, pleased that his suggestion had gone over well with his friend. As he was tugged along, he gave Vivace a curious look. "Do you play your guitar often at the park? I've never seen you there before."

"No .. Non told me about it and i though it would be a good place to go to practice and stuff cause it would be nice outside and all." He grinned at Kaleb. "I should come more often."

Kaleb smiled back. "It is a good place to practice, I like to come here when I'm tired of studying in my apartment." Although his small livingroom was more practical, all his books and notes were right on hand, he really liked being outside.

"If i come more often then i can play while you study so you just have to listen to, well nothing. If you want i mean?" Once they were back at the park he found a nice tree to sit under and pulled out the puzzles and the candy.

Kaleb grinned. "I would love to listen to you play while I studied." His lopsided smile remained as he sat down beside Vivace. If he were a less timid person, he would have suggested Vivace drop by more often so they could practice together.

"Then i will just have to come by and hope you're here so that i can play for you." he nodded as he pulled the bag of candy open and pulled out a gummy octi. "They always say not to play with your food but then they make stuff like this so that you want to play with it." He wiggled the thing around with one hand as he dug around for the puzzles.

The mage suddenly realized his world had just gotten less lonely, and he couldn't help but smile at the idea. He was delighted to know that he would be able to spend time with a friend without sacrificing his practice time and feeling guilty about it.
Kaleb blinked a bit when Vivace pulled out the little octopus, he must have been looking at something else while those were added to the bag. "I think they meant real food." Kaleb said quietly as he watched the unusual gummy creature wiggle about.

"But this is read food, it's just made of sugar and probably not healthy." He grinned as he stuffed the octi in his mouth. Chewing on it for a moment he pulled out another one and held it out to Kaleb. "Here .. they're tasty"

Kaleb looked rather doubtful, but he carefully took the second octopus. He let it sit in the palm of his hand for a bit, poking at it occasionally, before convincing himself the acid blue colour and squishy texture were just fine for eating. Then he ate it with as determined a look as he could manage. "It is tasty," he concluded once he had finished off the poor hapless octopus, and grinned brightly.

"Told you it was!" Held pulled out one of the tubes of brightly colored goo and had pulled it open to lick out a bit of the stuff. "You should try this stuff ... it's really yummy too!"

The gooey liquid received an even more doubtful look. Kaleb thought perhaps he should go looking for the other tube of stuff, but he ended up losing his nerve and going for another octopus. This time it was a ghastly bright pink, and he played with it for a bit before chewing off it's legs. "Was that the stuff you said was sour?" He asked hesitantly.
