Fred let out a yell as he was pulled under but quickly fought his way to the surface again. "Ahh you're a tricky one."

Adalae shook her head violently. "Nuh-uh!" She then ran full force at him and shoved him in the lake.

Marilyn laughed. "I actually can't believe you let me pull that one."

George surfaced gasping. "Damn, that's cold."

Fred shrugged. "You surprised me."

Adalae stood on the shore and waved at him innocently.

Marilyn looked shocked and splashed more water at Fred. "You let me didn't you."

George sputtered again. "Oh, you suck." He laughed.

"Pffft! No!" Fred tried his best to splash Marilyn back.

Adalae squinted and stuck out her tongue. She was enjoying acting like a child.

Marilyn laughed and then drifted back and floated through the water. "I think I could definately get used to this place."

George swam back to the shore and held out his hand. "You could at least help me out of here." When she reached for his hand, he grabbed her arm and pulled her in.

Fred swam up beside her. "I'm sure we could get used to you too."

Adalae let out a rather girly shriek. And when she resurfaced she was gasping for air. Not only was she afraid of meeting the giant squid she also wasn't the best swimmer. "Not cool!"

Marilyn laughed. "Oh that would be a first. No place ever gets used to me."

George laughed. "Oh I agree, freezing was my first impression."

Juliette clearly had nothing better to do than follow a Hufflepuff to the dorms. Perhaps she could go terrify some upperclassmen there. Honestly, she wasn't too big a fan of one of the Hufflepuffs there; if Juliette saw that brat boy, Ernie, he would get a severe smack to the face.

With the other three in tow, Spike arrived at the painting that covered the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room and delivered the password. Walking into the common room she headed towards the stairs to the girls rooms. There wasn't much of interest in the common room, and she wanted to show Daire her new decor.

"Everything's...yellow." It was like a mild overdose of mustard. And who had their animal as a BADGER anyway? The Slytherin girl didn't quite understand how badgers and loyalty corrolated. It was a non-sequiter, dammit!

Pausing to look back at the Slytherin girl, who was looking around the room in distaste, Spike answered "Welcome to my nightmare. Do I look like someone who enjoys monochromes and earth tones?" She shuddered and resumed motion towards the stairs. "The dorm rooms are no better. I've been forced to take drastic measures to make my room palatable. Although, last year, my roomies didn't appreciate my efforts."

"How on earth do you sleep at night with all the bright yellow! It reflects the sun when it comes up, so it's gotta be blinding!" At this point, Juliette was simply grateful that Slytherin lights in the rooms were all a deep verdant color.

Spike climbed to her room and opened the door, revealing her corner in it's black and technicolor glory. Her posters on the wall, the black skull-and-cross-bone curtains she'd put up around her bed in place of the original gold ones left open to show her beautiful bed spread.

She laughed. "Pirate, much?"
