Alright! I started writing an HP fanfiction a while ago and it started out awesomely and lost steam... so I decided that it would be far easier if I turned it into an rp.

I (or Leah) will type out what has been written so far.

*Leah abuses her power to hack this post and have a wild dance party in excitment.*

All over King’s Cross Station, people could be heard boarding the early morning trains. For the last twenty minutes a young teenage girl had been drifting between platforms nine and ten. Finally she sat down on one of the nearby benches heaving a great sigh. “You’re a smart girl. You can figure out how to get on the train by yourself.” She scoffed remembering what her uncle had said to her earlier that morning when he dropped her off. “Hopefully someone shows up so I can figure out how to get in.” Ten silent minutes passed until the girl saw someone walking in her direction. As the figure drew closer, she noticed the person was girl around dher age. The new girl came over and took a seat on the bench as well. A minute passed before either of them spoke.
“So, what are you here for?” he girl who had just sat down asked.
“Umm, I have to find the train that’ll take me to my new school,” she answered.
“Me too. By the way, my name is Marilyn.” She offered her hand.
“I’m Adalae,” she said shaking her hand. Adalae studied Marilyn for a moment. Marilyn had should length blonde hair and bright green eyes.
“So, you’re waiting for the Hogwarts Express too?” Marilyn nodded towards Adalae’s trunk and what looked like a cage covered in a blanket.
“Oh, you’re not a muggle then, huh? Adalae got slightly confused. ‘How did she know I’m a witch?”
Marilyn just laughed. “Nope. How come you aren’t on the train yet?” Now Marilyn was the one looking confused.
“Uh, I don’t know how to get to the train. I just transferred to Hogwarts over the summer,” she responded with an awkward smile as she scratched the back of her hand.
Marilyn laughed again. “Aww well, that makes two of us then. I was hoping you knew how to get to the platform.” They both laughed.
“Well, I guess we just have to wait and watch now.” Adalae sighed and looked at the passing people.
Minutes passed on in silence until one of them finally said something.
“Wait, aren’t they supposed to be stealthy?” Marilyn realized.
“Aww, why did you have to say that? You just crushed all of my hope.”
They sat in silence for a few more minutes. Adalae had been watching people board the trains until a group of redheads caught her attention. Well more so the man that was leading said ground of redheads.
“Uncle Remus?” Adalae stood up. “Remus Lupin, is that you?!” She sprinted to the man, leaving Marilyn on the bench confused.
“Adalae? Adalae, what are you doing here?” Remus asked as Adalae pulled him into a hug.
“I should be asking you the same thing.” By now Marilyn had dragged most of her and Adalae’s things over to the group. “We’re trying to get to platform nine and three quarters,” Adalae whispered gesturing to herself and Marilyn.
“Oh, do you want us to show you?” one of the reheads asked.
There were three of them, two boys and a girl. The boys looked to be identical twins.
“By the way, I’m Ginny and this is Fred and George,” Ginny said point at the twins.
“Yeah, we’ve been sitting around trying to figure out how to get to the platform,” Marilyn said responding to Ginny’s question.
“Wait, wait, wait, hold it. You’re related to Remus?” one of the twins asked.
“Yeah. He’s my uncle,” Adalae replied.
“Well, duh. We kind of figured that out when you ran over her yelling ‘Uncle Remus!’” the other twin said.
“I didn’t know you had any siblings Lupin.” Ginny looked up at him.
“Yes, my brother was her father. But before we get too far into my family tree, let’s cross the barrier.”
As everyone began to gather up their things, one of the twins spoke up.
“We’ll show you how to cross the barrier.”
Then, one right after the other, they grabbed their trunks and ran through the barrier, which turned out to be a wall standing between platforms nine and ten.
“Oh, well I feel kinda dumb now.”
Remus just smiled and said, “Alright Adalae, why don’t you have your friend go first and then you and Ginny can go.”
Adalae looked over to Marilyn and nodded. Just like the twins, Marilyn went throught the barrier with no problems.
“Now it’s your turn girls. “I’ll be right behind you.”
Ginny turned to Adalae and smiled. “Ready?”
Adalae tightened her grip on her trunk. “As read as I’ll ever be.” Before she knew it, Adalae was already through the barrier. She stared at all the people. Parents saying goodbye to their kids, friends meeting up trying to decide in what compartment to sit.
“Alright girls, let’s go find the rest of our group” Remus said standing right behind the girls. Fred, George, and Marilyn quickly joined them as they began to wonder through the crowd.
After a few minutes of searching, they finally came across a rather large group of people.
“No touble?” Mad Eye Moody asked.
“Nothing.”
As the adults talked, the kids stood off to the side until a woman with flaming red hair just like Ginny and the twins’ came over and began to say her goodbyes. She made her way down the line, giving them various different warnings: be goods, don’t forget to writes, and many other farewells until she reached the end where Adalae and Marilyn stood.
“Oh, you aren’t my children. Who are you dears?”
Adalae was about to answer when Remus came over.
“Molly, this is my neice Adalae. She’s Shayne’s daughter, and this is her friend.”
Molly looked back to Adalae. “Oh, you’re Shayne’s little girl? Come here, you’re father was an angel.” Molly then gave Adalae a bone crushing hug. By the time she let g, the train had let out a whistle.
“Hurry up girls. We don’t want you to miss your first ride to Hogwarts,” Remus said as he steered the girls to the train.
They got one last goodbye from Molly and Adalae got a hug from Remus before getting onto the train. Just as the girls had gotten themselves and their luggage on board, the train began to move.
The girls soon began a search for a compartment. Every compartment they passed was full of students. They had searched through half of the train by the time they found an open compartment. Adalae and Marilyn began putting their luggage up in the racks. Adalae set her cage down on the seat and pulled off the blanket.
“The light burns!” screeched a squawky high-pitched voice. Marilyn spun around.
“What was that?!”
Adalae smiled and rolled her eyes. “Shut up Jephy.” She held up the cage to show Marilyn. “This is my parrot Jephy. Jephy, this is Marilyn.”
Marilyn stared at the brightly colored bird sitting in the cage. “You have a talking parrot…”
Jephy looked up at Adalae. “And you made friends with Sherlock Holmes…”
Adalae reached in the cage and flicked him in the head. “Ignore him. He’s a sarcastic little b*****d.”
The girls soon got themselves settled in. Adalae decided to break the silence that had taken over.
“So…tell me a bit about yourself.”
Marilyn jerked herself out of the daze she had been in. “Oh, kay, well, I’m 16 and I just transferred to Hogwarts this summer. My mom got a job at the ministry and though it would be easier for me to go here.”
Adalae nodded and Marilyn raised her eyebrows at her. “How ‘bout you?”
“Me…I got sent to live with my uncles because I did not want to stay with my mother anymore. She changed—in a very unpleasant way.”
Now Marilyn was nodding. “When you say ‘uncles, do you mean like…” She trailed off.
“They’re straight brothers actually. I think I’m supposed to go live my uncle Remus after this year though.”
Just as Adalae finished, a prefect knocked and popped her head in. “You two should probably start changing into your robes.”
They both smiled at her and began to pull down their trunks.
“Alright, how about you head left and I’ll head right and hope we both find somewhere to change,” Marilyn suggested.
“And then wander back eventually?” Adalae added.
“Maybe.”
They both laughed and headed out with their robes in hand.
Adalae began wandering the corridor looking for a place to change into her school robes. She would occasionally look into the compartment she passed by, seeing students ranging from small slightly scared looking first years to groups of seventh years laughing and discussing their summers. All of a sudden, Adalae was pulled into a dark closet like space.
“Shh…You’ll thank me later.”
Adale tried to look at who was talking, but the closet was pitch black. She was about to open her mouth, when just outside, they heard someone talking.
“Where is she? She is not going to get away with this!”
Adalae heard the girl huff frustratedly.
“He just doesn’t give up, does he?”
Suddenly, they heard a fist slam into the door of the closet, causing Adalae to jump.
“Calm down Malfoy. I’m sure that whatever is wrong isn’t bad enough to beat up the poor train,” said an amused voice outside the door.
“Where’s Krusies? If anyone knows, it’ll probably be you Grimm,” replied Malfoy, his voice dripping with Malice.
“Krusies? Hmmm, I’m not even sure I know who you’re talking about.”
Adalae could tell from the tone of his voice that Grimm had a smile on his face.
“Don’t lie to me. You know everyone on this train.”
“Not everyone. I don’t know the new first years.”
The same thought had been running through Adalae’s head for the last few minutes. ‘Krusies, Krusies…why does that name sound familiar?’ She couldn’t remember where she’d heard it before.
“Wait, what did you do this guy?”
Krusies just laughed. “Oh…nothing.”
There was another bang from outside.
“I know you’re around here Juliette! You’ll regret messing with me.”
Just as Malfoy finished his sentence Juliette grabbed Adalae’s hand and busted out of the closet. “I regret nothing!” she screamed then ran down the corridor dragging Adalae behind her while she laughed maniacally.
“What are you doing?!”
Juliette took a sharp turn into a random cabin. “Trust me, once you actually meet Draco Malfoy you’ll thank me for that.”
Adalae then realized that there were other people in the cabin with them. “Umm, hi.” She also realized that they were part of the group that they met up with at the station. “Are you related to Ginny?” Adalae asked one of the boys. He had bright red hair just like Ginny.
“Yeah, I’m her brother Ron. Weren’t you standing with us outside of the train?”
“Yep, I was saying hi to my Uncle Remus.”
Ron looked a little surprised by that.
“So, wait, Remus has a brother,” the other boy asked.
“Well, technically, he had a brother.”
“How did your father die?” This time it was the girl who asked.
“Hermione!!” Ron hissed. “You can’t just ask someone that!”
Adalae laughed. “It’s fine, Ron. There was an ‘accident’ during an auror mission. The accident was that they paired my dad with a death eater.” She had become disturbingly serious.
Hermione and Ron both looked to the brown haired boy who sat next to ron. Juliett finally spoke up.
“Wait…you’re Harry Potter, right?” She hadn’t said a word since they entered the compartment.
He sighed. “Yeah, that’s me.”
Hermione leaned forward and tapped Harry. “Do you think You-Know-Who is sending death eaters into the ministry?”
Juliette spoke up again. “Oh no, there are plenty of death eaters in the ministry already. They’ve been there for quite awhile.”
Ron looked at Julie and then realized something. “You’re a Slytherine, aren’t you?! That’s how you know about the death eaters. You’re probably a junior one yourself!”
She just blinked at him. “There are so many things wrong with what you just said that I’m not going to explain them all. One: yes, I am a Slytherine. Two: my father is a death eater who talks a little too loudly when he’s with his friends. And three: Voldemort is a freakin idiot. Plus, there are no such things as Jr. death eaters.”
Ginny grunted and smacked ron on the back of his head. Julie turned back and peered out of the compartment.
“Oh! Malfoy’s coming. We should probably head out.” She grabbed Adalae and headed out. They sprinted down the corridor until they found an empty compartment.“You can change in here.”
Adalae got slightly confused.
“You’ve been holding your robes this entire time.”
And she had. She sat them donw on the seat and looked at Juliette. “Uh…the windows.”
Juliette quickly came up with a solution. She took off her cloak and held it over the windows.
“Thanks.” In less than a minute, Adalae had changed into her school robes.
“That was quick.”
Adalae nodded. She then remembered that she was supposed to meet Marilyn back at their compartment. “I need to get back!”
It turns out Adalae was only a few compartments away from her own. As soon as she slid the door open, she found an unexpected sight. Marilyn was sitting on one of the seats with the redheaded twins on either side of her. “Adalae!” Marilyn exclaimed. She stood up and walked over to her. “Which one do you want?” Marilyn whispered and then nudged Adalae.
“You’re Fred and George, right? Ginny’s brothers?” Adalae said looking past Marilyn.
“Right,” they responded in unison.
“And you’re Lupin’s…niece right?” one of them asked. (She couldn’t quite tell them apart yet.)
Adalae settled down on the seat across from the twins and only a moment later the sweet trolley came by.
“Would you like some sweets dears?” the old woman asked kindly.
Everyone began to dif for their money. Lots of Chocolate Frogs were bought along with a few bags of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans and some Pumpkin Pasties. They all went quiet as they enjoyed their treats.
“I’m sorry, but that is just too weird,” Adalae burst out.
Everyone looked at her.
“What? Did you get a vomit flavored one?” Georged asked. At least she was pretty sure it was George. She couldn’t quite tell, but she was fairly sure Marilyn was sitting next to Fred.
“No, the vomit ones aer brilliant though. I love fiving them to people. I got a bacon one.” Adalae said. “I’m used to fruit flavored jelly beans, not meant ones.”
George laughed. “I guess you don’t eat many Bertie Bott’s, huh?”
Before she could respond, the compartment door opened. Standing there was a relatively short blonde girl in Gryffindor robes.
“Um, hi.” She looked between the four of them, slightly confused.
Fred stood up and gave the girl a kiss. “Hello Anna.”
Adalae looked at Marilyn who tried her best to hide her shock. Fred sat back down next to Marilyn and Anna sat on the other side of him. Adalae had to fake a coughing fit to hide her laughter. As sad as the situation was, it was also wonderfully awkward. She leaned over and whispered to George.
“You don’t have a surprise girlfriend too, do you?”
He just laughed. If I did, she’d be a surprise to me too.” George knew his twin was a horrible flirt. He felt bad that he had let Fred flirt with Marilyn while he knew he was still with Anna.
“So, who are you two?” Anna asked.
Adalae quickly spoke up, fearing that Marilyn might say something stupid. “My name is Adalae…you can call me Adie. And this is Marilyn.”

Marilyn gave a cheerful wave and smile. "Hey." On the inside of course, she was quite the opposite of cheerful. It was't so much that fact that he had a girlfriend that was bothering her, but that fact that the tiny blonde looked completely out of place next to him. He deserved someone who's demeanor was more compatible with his own...i.e. herself. And so the plotting began.

Adalae breathed a sigh of relief. Marilyn wasn't outright trying to kill the girl so everything was going to be alright. Atleast that's what she was hoping for. "...So how long have you two been together?"

"Oh, about five years now." Fred replied. Five years began to seem like an extremely long time. Normally at this point he would've taken ahold of Anna's hand in a cutesy way but he had no desire to. He had more of a desire to take ahold of Marilyn. The feeling was actually rather confusing. He had only know this girl for not even an hour and he felt like he had more of a connection with her than his own girlfriend.

The rest of the train ride passed with an underlying awkward tension. Marilyn was pleased to note that Adalae was getting on very well with George and that Fred didn't seem to mind that her fingers kept finding his leg. When the train stopped, they all filed off and headed towards a rather large fleet of carriages.

Everyone quickly recognized the group just ahead of them. "Hey Harry!" Fred called out. "Oh. Hi you guys." Seemingly out of nowhere a carriage appeared behind them. Adalae turned around a stumbled back into George, "What the hell it that?!" she exclaimed pointing towards the front of the carriage.

George put his hands on Adalae's shoulders to steady her and secretly held her where she was agaisnt him. "Um...it's a carriage."

Marilyn rooled her eyes. "No dude. I think she means that...Adalae...how would you describe that?"

After her initial shock Adalae immediately calmed down. "Hmm, my best description would be... Death in the form of a horse." She tilted her head and squinted at it, "Yeah. If Death wanted to be a horse this is what it would look like." Then it dawned on her that this entire time she had had her back pressed up against George. 'Well, this is nice.'

"What do you think would happen if I touched it?" Marilyn raised her hand and stepped forward. She stopped when she noticed Harry's gaping mouth. "What?"

It took Harry a second to find his voice. "You guys can see them too? I...I though I was going crazy."

A small blonde rather spacy looking girl appeared next to Harry. "You aren't crazy. I can see them too. And I'm just as sane as you."

Marilyn seriously doubted that last statement...but based on Harry's response it was possible that those too were on the same level of sanity. "Seriously though, Harry, are you always such a drama queen about these things?"

George had manged to slip his arms around Adalae's shoulders in a sort of hug. Fred was standing next to him in a similar position with Anna. Although, they looked at little strange due to Anna's shortness. "You have no idea," they said in unison.

Harry seemed to be pouting.

Adalae scoffed at Harry, "Super. I shall be fliping copius amount of crap at him for it." She stealthily snuggled further into George.

"Seriously, Harry, you live in world of magic. s**t happens. You should really get used to it. Baffled is not a good look for you." She gave the creature in front of her a tentative stroke.

Harry continued to pout.

"Awe come on Harry, cheer up." Marilyn flashed him a smile. "At least you know you're not crazy."

"Yeah! Atleast you don't hear random voices calling your name." Adalae laughed. "Shouldn't we climb into one of the carriages?" As much she didn't want to seperate from George she thought it was probably a good idea to get going.
PostPosted: Wed Dec 31, 2008 10:43 pm

Marilyn opened a carriage door. "My dear Adalae." She held out her hand. Adalae took it and Marilyn helped Adale in and then followed. She leaned back out. "Are you three coming?" George shook his head and then stepped into the carriage.

Fred climbed in after George and then helped Anna in. He then sat himself down next to Marilyn and tried to make small talk, "So... You girls are new to Hogwarts? What house are you in? Or have you even been sorted?"
